Job Purpose
This role plays a key part in the delivery of Operation Smile UK’s retention programme, generating income and retaining existing cash and regular giving donors. The Giving Engagement Officer (Retention) will support the Giving Engagement Manager to implement multi-channel (mail, telemarketing, web and email) donor retention campaigns, ensuring timely delivery, creative accuracy, and effective stakeholder coordination.
You will be responsible for managing campaign schedules, supporting the creative and data processes, and ensuring delivery partners are aligned. Key Responsibilities
Campaign Delivery & Coordination
· Deliver cultivation and retention campaigns, setting up and developing schedules in Asana and coordinating all required stakeholders.
· Manage timelines to ensure all activity is delivered on time and to plan.
· Compile campaign costs and track expenditure against budgets, flagging issues as they arise.
Creative, Data & Fulfilment Management
- Develop campaign briefs for creative, data output, print and fulfilment for review by internal teams and suppliers.
- Manage the creative sign-off process: collate feedback from stakeholders and ensure briefing accuracy to suppliers.
- Proof all campaign materials to maintain brand integrity and accuracy.
Digital & Email Communications
- Support the development of donor emails in line with agreed campaign structures.
- Coordinate the production and scheduling of email content in collaboration with the communications and data and tech team.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Compile campaign results for analysis and provide reports to inform future activity.
- Work closely with data teams to ensure appropriate segmentation and tracking.
Donor Stewardship
- Support the thank-you process, including personalising and developing donor thank-you cards as required.
- Contribute to improving supporter journeys and experiences through campaign touchpoints, especially for regular givers.

Job Overview
The Senior Communications Manager is responsible for developing and delivering the Society’s communications strategy to enhance its visibility, influence, and engagement with key audiences. The role combines planning and budgeting with hands-on communications activity.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Communications
- Develop and implement an annual communications plan to support the Society’s strategic objectives, including member communication and marketing of the Society’s activities events and programmes.

Digital and Print Content

Social Media and Brand Management

Our client is looking for a passionate and driven person to deliver a range of digital communications and GIS mapping outputs that will support the delivery of Nurturing Natural Connections Project. Building on the success of previous projects, this project continues to realise the Cumbernauld Living Landscape long-term vision to improve Cumbernauld’s green spaces for both people and wildlife, helping everyone in the community connect with the nature on their doorstep.
The candidate:
The successful candidate will have a relevant degree or equivalent experience with at least 2 years’ experience in a communications/GIS related role. Who are we looking for?
ShelterBox is looking for a strong and experienced digital team leader, ideally with experience of working in digital at a charity to drive digital reach and engagement. You'll have an up-to-date understanding of digital channels and delivering digital campaigns (organic social, email, website and paid advertising). You are passionate about creating and growing high-quality online experiences.
You're great at writing for digital, understand ethical storytelling, and will be able to coach the team on creating copy, ensuring our brand tone of voice, approving content across all of our digital channels.
You've delivered (either in-house or with an agency) successful digital advertising campaigns, ideally for fundraising. You've worked with digital agencies.
You are experienced in taking a data and evidence-based approach, testing, gathering insights and driving improvements that improve user experience and conversion rates.

* Oversee our digital channels, including:
* Social media for organic reach and engagement and developing fresh approaches as algorithms change.
*. Email marketing, increasing email engagement, boosting income, and improving retention.

* Paid digital ads - as part of a project group alongside fundraising colleagues, the Social and Paid Advertising Manager, and an external agency, play an active role in the project to upscale digital ads and performance marketing to drive income.

* Ensure budget is allocated efficiently and delivering value.
* Ensure your team are reviewing new technologies and platforms, keeping the department informed of developments in digital marketing, and encourage the digital team to seek out and identify new trends.
Sharing knowledge and best practice
* Provide quality control across web, email and social - coaching your team on copy, tone of voice and visual aspects of our digital work.
* Build positive, collaborative relationships with stakeholders across FundComms department - confidently managing different perspectives, using evidence to keep projects on track
* Educate and encourage other staff members on the use of digital best practice and promote its use within the charity.
Team management
* Three direct reports: an Email Marketing Officer and Social Media & Paid Advertising Manager and Website Manager - to deliver quality digital activities and channels.
* Manage and coach team to produce high quality digital content that's on-brand designed to increase reach and engagement with target audiences.
* Develop direct reports through reviews, setting objectives and identifying training where needed.
* Motivate team members to deliver excellence in everything they do.

You’ll play a key frontline role in our digital support service, providing safe, empathetic, and empowering advice to young people (aged 12–25) across a wide range of challenges - from mental health to bullying, identity, and coming out.
This role requires full professional fluency in both written and spoken Mexican Spanish. You’ll be supporting young people in Mexico and must be confident providing direct support in the local language and context.
What you’ll do:
- Provide direct, one-to-one support to young people via our online platforms - including our support community, email, and social media DMs.
- Offer thoughtful, judgment-free advice on topics like anxiety, low self-esteem, identity, relationships, and bullying.
- Spot safeguarding concerns and act swiftly using our established procedures.
- Engage with and moderate our digital support community.
- Collaborate with our wider team to shape content and campaigns that reflect youth voices.

What you’ll bring:
- Fluent written and spoken Mexican Spanish (essential)
- A relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g. Psychology, Psychotherapy or Counselling) or equivalent
