Campaigns Digital Comms Officer

Fixed-term contract (6 months)

35 hours per week

£29,209 per annum (if located in London, 26,329 if located elsewhere)

The Children's Society has been helping children and young people in this country for over 130 years. We run local services that support children when they are at their most vulnerable and in desperate need of help. We're there for children, every step of the way.

This role sits within our campaigns team, which works to run effective policy change campaigns, and engage supporters and activists to creat that change. Your role will be to help us maximise our potential to reach our audiences through digital channels. If you are passionate about sparking conversations that inspire people to support our campaigns, and have great communication and digital skills then we would love to hear from you.

About the role

We are currently looking for a passionate individual to join our dynamic, ambitious team. This is a great six month opportunity in a friendly, and effective team for someone with the right skills!

A key part of this role will be your ability to explore parthership opportunities and deliver creative social media and digital content that will help maximise the reachof our campaigns to the wider possible audience.

This 6 month role will provide communications support to the campaigns team, working collaboratively to implement communications initiatives that will increase our influence and impact, with a specific focus on:

-Developing social media content & strategy

-Creating creative collateral for digital audiences

-Writing key messaging for our campaigns

-Maximising PR and media opportunities
