As a Supporter Care Officer you will play a crucial role in being the first point of contact for supporters, delivering an excellent support experience.
You will:
- Lead on thanking supporters for all our existing Appeals, Core Campaigns and National Events; working with other teams to ensure that supporters are thanked in a timely manner
- Work with the Community Fundraising Team to evaluate the next best ask and proactively contact supporters with promoting fundraising and campaigning products for new and existing supporters
- Support all new Individual Giving and Supporter Care activities
- Provide excellent customer service to existing and potential new supporters offering an empathetic and supportive service via the main telephone line, email and general correspondence

VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
OASIS HUB BLAKENHALE
PART TIME: 15 hours per week
FIXED-TERM CONTRACT: 18 months
SALARY: £10,533 for 0.3 FTE and £28,088 for 1FTE
We’re looking for an organised, people‑focused Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, support and coordinate volunteers across our community projects.
At Oasis Community Hub Blakenhale we provide a range of community activities including stay and play, food club, warm welcome space and adult education, community events and school holiday activities. Together, we aim to Creating places of belonging where we can connect with each other. Creating opportunities to volunteer and be change makers. Create a community we are proud of. Volunteers are at the heart of this work and the role of the volunteer co-ordinator will be a key part of this community.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, induct and match volunteers.
- Promote volunteering through events and local outreach.
- Provide ongoing support, supervision and admin for volunteers.
- Coordinate volunteers across hub activities.
- Support corporate/skills‑based volunteering and training sessions.
About You
- Experience supporting volunteers or working in a community setting.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and confidentiality.
- Confident with Word and Excel.
- Relevant qualification or equivalent experience.

This is a fantastic time to be joining our ambitious and growing charity and we are keen to share this with likeminded and talented individuals. We currently have an opening for a Community Fundraiser, to be based in the South East region.
As the Community Fundraiser covering the South East you will play a crucial role in helping the charity meet its strategic plans and objectives, which include campaigning to increase the national investment in brain tumour research to £35 million per year, while fundraising to create a network of seven sustainable Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence across the UK. Your role will be to generate and grow our income through community fundraising activities, contributing to a regional team target of more than £1.5 million.

Project Accountant
Are you ready to take on a new challenge with a leading charity making a real difference in brain tumour research?

Brain Tumour Research is seeking a qualified and experienced accountant who is able to join our team on a Fixed Term contract (2-4 months) to support our team and undertake some important projects.
As the Project Accountant you will play a crucial role in helping the charity meet its strategic plans and objectives. You will be reconciling transactions between our internal records and those of our external partners, developing our cashflow model for our granting programme, housekeeping on our VAT records and more.
