Working closely with our Head of Communications and a specialist public affairs agency, you will help bring those findings to life, secure media attention and make decision-makers listen. Central to this will be finding and sensitively supporting people who are willing to share their experiences, cultivating trusted relationships and helping them tell their stories confidently across print, digital and broadcast media.

Alongside this landmark work, you will create engaging content across our magazine, website, email and social media channels, identify opportunities for national coverage and help strengthen and protect Glaucoma UK’s voice and reputation. What you’ll be working on:

· Proactively creating and delivering high quality, inspiring multi-channel content (including, but not limited to, our quarterly members magazine, awareness campaigns, email marketing schedule, social media and website) to engage key stakeholders and attract new followers to our cause.

Dementia UK is looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our Marketing and Communications team on a 12-month maternity cover. This is an exciting opportunity to help deliver high-performing digital campaigns that raise vital funds, grow our reach and engage supporters with Dementia UK’s work.

You will take ownership of paid digital campaigns, from development and launch through to optimisation and reporting. As Digital Advertising Officer, you will:

About the role

We’re looking for a Digital and Content Administrator to join the Royal Statistical Society’s Digital Content Team. This is a varied, hands-on role at the heart of our digital activity, including publishing content on our websites, producing and sending newsletters, supporting webinars and online events, and providing first-line support for routine AV and IT queries. It offers the chance to build experience across a broad range of digital skills while working alongside colleagues with expertise in content, communications, web and multimedia. You’ll play an important part in keeping our digital channels running smoothly and helping the RSS deliver an engaging experience for more than 8,000 members and a much wider public audience.

Digital channels and content delivery are a key part of the RSS offer. They support member engagement, help the Society communicate its work clearly and effectively, and enable staff, members and volunteers to take part in online activity, access information and connect with one another. The Digital Content Team plays an important role in ensuring these channels and services run smoothly and meet a high standard.

Job purpose

The Digital Content Administrator provides practical digital, content and administrative support across the Society’s Digital Content Team. The postholder supports the needs of the digital and content team, wider staff, members and volunteers by helping to publish content, create and send newsletters, support online meetings, provide first-line AV and IT support, monitor shared inboxes, assist with testing and reporting, and maintain clear user guidance.

The role is primarily a digital and technical support role, with only light content editing where needed and no expectation of editorial experience.

Key responsibilities

The role is responsible for:

1. Content publishing and newsletter production. Provide accurate and timely support for publishing digital content and producing newsletters across the Society’s channels.

• Publish, edit and maintain content on the Society’s websites, including Royal Statistical Society, Real World Data Science and Significance Magazine, ensuring content is uploaded accurately and in a timely way.
• Create and send newsletters using copy provided by colleagues, ensuring content is formatted correctly, links and assets work as expected, brand guidelines are adhered to, and communications are issued on time.
• Carry out light content editing and formatting where needed to support publication (there is no expectation of editorial experience or expertise)
• Post vacancies on the Society’s job board and support other routine publishing activity as required.
• Help maintain high standards of accuracy, consistency and accessibility across published digital content and email communications.
• Organise digital assets and maintain content libraries.

2. Digital support for staff, members and volunteers. Provide responsive first-line support for digital activity, online meetings and routine AV and IT queries.

• Provide first-line IT and AV support to staff, helping to resolve routine issues and escalating more complex or urgent issues promptly when required.
• Support online and face to face meetings involving staff, members and volunteers, including meeting set-up, practical troubleshooting and live support where needed.
• Assist colleagues and users to make effective use of relevant platforms and tools, particularly for online meetings, content-related tasks and routine digital processes.

3. Testing, reporting and systems support. Support the effective running and improvement of digital systems through testing, basic reporting and routine technical administration.

• Carry out testing and report issues clearly, including supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for websites, digital tools and related processes.
• Generate routine reports using tools such as Google Analytics and Dynamics CRM, and help colleagues access the information they need for day-to-day decision-making and monitoring.
• Support the maintenance of digital systems and processes by following agreed procedures, identifying routine issues and escalating where needed.
• Contribute to the smooth running of the Society’s digital operations by supporting practical system-related tasks across the team.

4. Meeting scheduling, inbox management, documentation and administration. Provide reliable administrative support that helps the team manage workload, respond to queries and maintain clear guidance.

• Schedule meetings to facilitate team activities and provide administrative support to volunteers, committee members and journal editors.
• Share meeting documentation and slides prior to meetings.
• Monitor shared inboxes and respond to or route routine queries appropriately, ensuring urgent or important issues are escalated promptly.
• Undertake general administration to support the work of the Digital and Content Team and related activity across the Society.
•  Create and maintain user guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other practical documentation to support consistent ways of working.
•  Keep records, documents and shared information organised and up to date so that colleagues can work efficiently and consistently.

5. General duties. Contribute to the wider work of the Society and support a collaborative, service-focused team culture.

Working for the RSS

Pension and benefits

Our defined contribution pension scheme can be joined after three months in post. Your contributions of up to 5% of salary will be double matched by the Society (making a maximum contribution by the Society of 10%). A training budget, season ticket loan, cycle to work scheme and employee assistance programme are also available.

Location

The RSS office is in central London. We offer flexible working arrangements, and this is a hybrid role with a minimum two days a week working in the office. In-person attendance for key meetings, team activity and practical support needs will be required.

Working hours

Full-time (35 hours per week/5 days a week). Flexibility will be required, including occasional support outside normal working hours, to help with webinars, online meetings or other digital activity.

Holidays

25 days per annum, plus bank holidays and an additional shut down between Christmas and New Year (pro rata for part-time posts).

In this role, you’ll analyse performance across our website, email and social channels, turning complex data into clear insight that helps shape how we plan and evaluate content and campaigns. Westway Trust is seeking a creative and strategic Communications Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping how the Trust’s story is told across every channel. You will manage our multimedia and digital ecosystem, deliver impactful campaigns that promote our services and events, and ensure lived-experience voices are at the heart of our communications. This role is critical in coordinating activity that reflects our organisational priorities and strengthens our connection with the diverse communities we serve across our 23-acre estate.

To develop and deliver campaign communications plans and creative approaches, ensuring activity is well-coordinated and aligned with organisational priorities.

Himmah is looking for a creative and organised Digital Content & Social Media Officer to help tell the story of our work across food justice, anti-racism, community organising, culture and community power.

You’ll coordinate our social media presence across Himmah and our different projects, producing regular, engaging content that brings our work, people and ideas to life. Video will be a major part of the role, alongside photography, written content, graphics and event coverage.

We’re looking for someone who understands what makes good social content, can spot a strong story, and is confident turning what is happening on the ground into content people actually want to watch, share and engage with.

You’ll also work alongside our Community Fundraiser to support fundraising campaigns with digital content and promotion, but fundraising itself will not be the main focus of the role.

This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to create, experiment, grow audiences and help shape how a social justice organisation shows up online.

As Communications Officer, you will play an important role in delivering our digital, marketing and engagement strategies. You’ll work across social media, email marketing, websites, campaigns, content, branding and media, helping to build CUF’s profile and equip people to build stronger relationships.

You’ll take responsibility for delivering paid social campaigns, coordinating our Mailchimp activity and e-newsletter, publishing website and social content, and using data to understand what’s working and improve our communications. You’ll also work closely with colleagues across the organisation, including the Fundraising Team.

You’ll have professional experience in communications or marketing, excellent writing and editing skills, and a good understanding of digital communications. You’ll be confident using websites, social media and email marketing platforms, and comfortable working with data and analytics.

Experience of Mailchimp, Salesforce, CMS, social media advertising and design/photo-editing software would be an advantage.

You’ll be creative, organised and self-motivated, with the ability to work collaboratively in a small team. An interest in social action and community-led development is desirable, as is experience of working in a charity or interfaith environment.

The Woodfield Project (TWP) is seeking an enthusiastic Deputy Manager to help run our beautifully refurbished community hub on Tooting Bec Common, in SW London. In close collaboration with the TWP Manager, you will coordinate daily operations, deliver a lively programme of events and activities, support members and volunteers and help grow new initiatives. Working closely with the Trustee Board, you’ll also ensure the Pavilion remains sustainable and continues to thrive at the heart of the local community.

The Woodfield Project is a vibrant, community-focused charity responsible for The Woodfield Pavilion located on Tooting Bec Common, in South-West London. The Pavilion serves as a lively community hub, offering events and activities that: support social wellbeing; bring the local community together; and encourage appreciation and care for the surrounding natural environment. The Pavilion spaces are ideal for meetings, classes, and exhibitions, along with a well-equipped kitchen, toilets and a locker room. As well as hosting its own events and activities, the Pavilion is hired by external organisations for wellbeing classes, workshops and events. 

Purpose and scope of role 

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and energetic Deputy Manager with the skills and experience to support and drive forward our mission of ensuring that the Pavilion serves as a vital resource for local communities and groups and to actively encourage participation from members and volunteers who share our passion for making a difference. 

The Trustee Board provides governance and strategic leadership for the charity. The Deputy Manager will work alongside the TWP Manager to coordinate the day-to-day running of the building and plan and deliver an engaging programme of community events and activities, as well as develop new activities. The role includes operational management, future planning and ensuring a sustainable income and membership base. 

The Deputy Manager will report to the TWP Manager and work collaboratively with the full Board, as well as with individual trustees on specific issues. 

Key tasks and responsibilities: 

Delivery 

• Supporting all aspects of the day-to-day management and operation of the Pavilion in line with the Charity’s mission and aims, within the framework set by the trustees. 
• Work with the Manager to coordinate and co-deliver a programme of community and environmental activities and events, including managing events where necessary 
• Oversee (new and existing) workstreams which form part of the TWP vision
• Manage bookings, hiring, art sales and other Pavilion-related administration 
• Ensure that the building is clean, well-maintained and safe
• Work with the TWP Manager and Building Management team (trustees and members of the Charity) to ensure the maintenance and development of the physical structure of Pavilion 

Operational  

• Work with volunteers and members of The Woodfield Project 
• Coordinate and expand the volunteer community
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, safeguarding and other regulatory requirements 
• Maintain the policies and procedures for operating the Pavilion and ensure that they are followed 
• Work with the TWP Manager and Secretary to organise and support Trustee and Charity meetings

• Manage overhead costs within agreed budgets

• Financial administration including bookkeeping required to support the Charity’s financial policy and procedures
