Purpose
The Fundraising Development Officer supports the delivery of our individual giving programme, helping to nurture current supporters and attract new ones.
You will be responsible for building our regular giving support, implementing supporter journeys and co-ordinating our annual appeals. You will also work closely with the Head of Fundraising in developing our major donor plans, and support with other individual giving channels, including in-memory giving and legacy giving.
We are looking for someone who has great communication and relationship management skills, and a collaborative approach. You will be a self-motivated, proactive and analytical individual with the ability to build, manage and develop relationships across teams.
While a background in fundraising is desirable, it is not essential. If you bring the right skills and are willing to learn, we'd love to hear from you.
Key responsibilities and duties
- Manage our ‘Friends of Charlie Waller’ regular giving scheme, building the supporter numbers and engagement with the charity.
- Deliver exceptional supporter care to our regular supporters, recognising opportunities for deeper engagement and potential for further support.
- Implement the supporter journeys for regular and one-off donors, creating communications to engage them with the cause and understand the impact.
- Co-ordinate and deliver our appeals cycle, working closely with colleagues across the charity to collate appeal content, including case studies, statistics and images.
- Support the delivery and development of our major donor plans, identifying prospects within our supporter base and assisting with stewardship plans.
- Support the delivery and development of our plans for building in-memory and legacy giving, including the administering of gifts, stewardship of supporters and contributing to cultivation events.
- Provide regular updates on progress against agreed objectives and contribute to wider departmental fundraising reports as required.
- Attend CWT events as appropriate to establish new contacts, develop existing relationships, and raise the profile of CWT with potential supporters.
- Ensure that systems and processes are effective, and that our database is being updated and utilised as the central source of information.
- Ensure compliance to data protection, safeguarding, confidentiality and relevant organisational policies and procedures.
- Routine call handling as part of the wider office administrative team.

Job Purpose
This role is critical for delivering activities with our prestigious corporate supporters while simultaneously building an impactful alumni community. The postholder will join Ada during an exciting phase of growth and will be responsible for both stakeholder management, volunteering and events and ensuring former students and apprentices are supported in their career progression and engagement through the #alwaysAda alumni programme. The role focuses on supporting partnerships and shaping and delivering events, including professional development, volunteering, and mentoring/support.

The Philanthropy and Alumni Executive Officer will be responsible for a combination of corporate partnership delivery and alumni community management:
A. Corporate Partnerships, Fundraising & Volunteering

About the role
Reporting to the Senior Individual Giving Appeals Officer, the Individual Giving Appeals Officer will deliver fundraising success during key moments like Christmas, Christian Aid Week and Emergency Appeals, focusing on maximising one-off donations. About the team
The media team strategically leads on both proactive and reactive media activity, engaging with journalists to support WaterAid’s mass engagement, partnerships, brand awareness and political influencing.
As our Senior PR Manager, you will lead the public relations function for WaterAid and work closely with the three senior media officers you manage, to drive sustainable change.
In this role, you will:
- Lead on developing and delivering innovative integrated, digital first PR campaigns that achieve impactful national, international, local and digital coverage, to support our fundraising and public engagement activities, build WaterAid’s profile, and align with wider organisational aims
- Manage our media around our high-profile strategic partnerships to deliver media projects that meet shared objectives and help our partners become influencers in their sector to drive change
- Work with the Celebrity and Influencer team to develop effective ways to work with high-profile supporters to build awareness of WaterAid and our work
- Act as a media spokesperson for WaterAid as required, briefing journalists on and off the record and giving media interviews where necessary
- Provide professional advice and support to colleagues in the UK, including our Chief Executive and within the WaterAid federation involved in media relations work, and identify opportunities to coordinate media moments across the organisation

Requirements
To be successful, you will need:
- Experience of leading, managing and motivating others and driving change

Charity Finance Group (CFG) is seeking a visionary Finance, FJ and Operations Director to drive innovation, collaboration and excellence across our organisation and the wider charity sector. About the role
As Finance, FJ and Operations Director, you’ll work closely with our two Co-CEOs to deliver CFG’s mission: championing financial sustainability for charities. You’ll lead the strategic and operational delivery of our Finance Journey framework—a bold, sector-defining initiative that transforms finance professionals from technicians into strategic leaders.
This role blends internal leadership with external influence. You’ll oversee key functions including finance and governance, HR, digital/IT and business development,—ensuring CFG’s internal systems and external offerings are aligned with our strategy, values, and member needs.
Your Impact
• Shape and deliver CFG’s Finance Journey strategy across the organisation
• Lead cross-functional teams to elevate performance and maturity
• Represent CFG to media, government, partners, and sector bodies
• Inspire a mindset shift across the finance community—from operational to transformational
• Support income generation through strategic partnerships and product development
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
• Champion a culture of learning, inclusion, and continuous improvement
• Contribute to CFG’s strategic planning and organisational development
• Provide strategic leadership across the organisation and support the board
Operational Oversight
• Lead finance, governance, HR, digital/IT, and business development teams
• Deliver robust financial analysis, reporting, and resource planning
• Ensure CFG’s finance function meets evolving business needs
Finance Journey Integration
• Embed the Finance Journey ethos across CFG’s products, services, and internal practices
• Collaborate with communications, learning, and membership teams
• Shape new offerings—training, events, assessments, leadership programmes
Stakeholder Engagement
• Build relationships with sector experts, partners, and members
• Represent CFG in forums, steering groups, and collaborative initiatives
• Share your expertise and catalyse sector-wide transformation
Internal Collaboration
• Work closely with Co-CEOs and the Director for Engagement
• Champion joined-up leadership, planning, and performance monitoring
• Foster a culture of inclusion, learning, and innovation
Location & Flexibility
• Remote-first: work from home or a suitable location near you
• Quarterly staff away days and ad hoc in-person events (travel costs covered)

CFG promotes remote-first working, although we do have office space at our registered address in Bermondsey, Southwark, SE London for those team members who prefer an office setting. We expect all of our team members to attend all staff, directorate, or team anchor days on a regular basis in London. All-staff anchor days are currently quarterly, and directorate and smaller team anchor days are organised on an ad hoc basis. If you have any questions about this we'd be happy to chat about our in-person expectations with you.
Please note that attending our flagship events will be required for this role, as well as work outside core hours occasionally as part of our events programme.
