About you

You bring working knowledge of Figma, GA4, and front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience in managing and/or coaching others is important, as you’ll help support and develop talent within our team.

Working arrangements

You will be digitally astute with expertise in paid media and digital product development, and a confident communicator, who project manages with ease and leads and engages with diverse internal & external stakeholders to develop an effective, responsive and agile approach to fundraising and supporter engagement in the digital environment. You must have demonstrable knowledge of UX principles and tools, a working knowledge of Drupal (or equivalent CMS), HTML and CSS, and excellent knowledge of digital analytics, particularly Google Analytics and social platform analytics.

Key Responsibilities for this role, include:

Website Management: Act as Product Owner, oversee roadmap, UX testing, security, hosting, and SEO.

Digital Fundraising: Manage paid search, social media, programmatic advertising, and evergreen campaigns; optimise performance and ROI.

Innovation & Strategy: Develop new digital tools, lead AI strategy group, drive product development from ideation to MVP, and foster a culture of innovation.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate across teams, manage external agencies, and lead digital collaboration with member charities.

Financial & Risk Management: Oversee £100k+ budgets, ensure compliance, report on performance, and mitigate digital risks.

Digital & Innovation Strategy and ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards, maintaining best practices in equality and accessibility.  Design and deliver programmes that build awareness and capability around inclusive behaviours.

Data & trends: Monitor, analyse, and report on D&I metrics to measure progress and inform future actions. Stay ahead of trends, lead new initiatives, and represent the organisation in external forums to promote our commitment to inclusion.

What you will be working on:

• You will lead the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns and initiatives across all online channels, including the website, SEO/SEM/AI Overviews, social media, supporter stewardship and marketing e-mails, to enhance charity visibility and drive supporter retention and acquisition

About you and the role

This role will initially support the set up and roll out of a national school food resource hub, supporting the creation of resources for the platform, working closely with internal teams and external partners. With the hub still in development, you will be joining at a crucial point to help shape what goes live, how it looks and sounds, and how useful it is for the people we most want to reach.

Our aim is that schools and the wider school food community can quickly find practical, trusted resources that help them improve food in schools. That might be a headteacher looking for a simple starting point, a school chef wanting a clear guide to implement new practices, or a teacher looking to introduce food education. 

Your role will focus on creating and maintaining high quality resources for the hub. You will turn ideas, evidence, and stories into clear content in different formats, including short one to two pagers, multi-page guides, videos, photographs and interactive resources. You will adapt your writing and framing to different audiences, keeping content aligned with brand guidelines.

This role sits within our comms team but works closely with our school transformation and membership teams. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and develop content, including supporting interviews and capturing case studies. You will also help manage the day to day flow of content into the hub, keeping resources organised, up to date and easy to navigate, while bringing a curious, practical mindset that helps us keep improving what we publish. You’ll identify any resources that could be a wider engagement tool to draw more people to the hub.

• Ensure all content follows our brand guidelines, tone of voice and accessibility standards.

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including teachers, chefs, young people and partner organisations, to gather information, quotes and approvals.

• Support interviews with pupils, school staff, chefs and partners, including preparing questions, note taking and transcribing.

• Support the management of content on the resource hub content management system, including tagging, links and basic SEO.

• Help maintain a content calendar for the resource hub and keep track of versions, approvals and review dates.

• Support testing of resources with users (e.g. short surveys, feedback sessions with teachers or pupils) and feed learning into future content.

• Contribute to wider communications activity, including newsletters, social media and events, as needed. 

• Ensure all resources comply with our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.

We’re looking someone who can support the team to maintain our strong online presence by delivering engaging, creative digital content. About this Internship

The Youth-Led Digital Campaigns Internship role is a twelve-month paid internship beginning in March 2026.

The Jack Petchey Internship development programme is designed for young people who are leaving further or higher education and starting out in the youth/charity sector - or young people who are looking to transfer into, or take their next career step in, the youth/charity sector.

The funding provides support to young people in London and Essex. We would therefore expect applicants to have a strong connection with London and ideally be currently living in or close to Croydon where our work is located.

Main purpose of this role:

We are looking for someone creative, confident and passionate about empowering young people. You will play a hands-on role in both the delivery and development of digital and media-based opportunities for young people, while helping to shape and deliver Reaching Higher’s youth-led digital fundraising and media strategy.

This internship will give you the chance to gain valuable experience across media, marketing, and youth work-alongside training, mentoring, and networking opportunities with other interns from youth organisations across London and Essex.

We are looking for applicants with some experience in the youth work sector (this could be in a voluntary capacity). The successful applicant will understand our organisational values and culture and demonstrate a strong desire to contribute to Reaching Higher’s vision to empower young people to be leaders of their own lives.

Your Mission

• Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Social Challenges Manager, the role will support day-to-day paid social delivery on Meta, using data, insight and testing to continuously improve results.

Responsibilities

Paid Social for Social Challenges (c.50% of role)

• Build, manage and optimise paid social campaigns on Meta to recruit participants into CALM’s Social Challenges.

• Translate campaign objectives into effective audience targeting, creative testing plans and budget allocation.

• Monitor performance daily, adjusting ads, audiences and spend to maximise lead volume, quality and cost-efficiency.

• Analyse campaign results, using platform data and internal insight to understand what’s driving high-value participants.

• Produce clear, actionable performance reports and recommendations for optimisation.

Campaign & Cross-Team Collaboration

• Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to support digital marketing activity across the organisation, including paid and organic social.

• Partner with the Social Challenges Manager to understand audience motivations, challenge mechanics and supporter journeys.

• Collaborate with CALM’s studio team to brief, test and refine creative that performs and stays on-brand.

• Feed performance insight back into campaign planning, proposition development and supporter experience.

Testing, Learning & Optimisation

• Implement structured testing across creative, copy, audiences and formats to improve performance over time.

• Use learnings from each campaign to inform future challenges and evergreen activity.

• Keep up to date with changes to Meta advertising, tracking, privacy and best practice, flagging risks and opportunities early.

Wider Digital Support

• Support wider digital marketing activity as required, including other paid digital channels and acquisition campaigns.

• Provide day-to-day cover for the Digital Marketing Manager during periods of leave, ensuring paid social campaigns continue to run smoothly and effectively.

• Support delivery of core marketing activity as required, including organic social, campaign optimisation, and reporting.

• Provide practical cover for the Social Media Manager when needed, supporting scheduling, publishing and basic community management to maintain a consistent social presence.

Spotlight on Corruption is a UK based charity which aims to end impunity for corruption, promote political integrity within the UK, and ensure the UK acts as a global leader on fighting corruption. Working arrangements

Full-time, 35 hours per week. Working from home required, but with one day a week in the office near London Bridge. Must be based in or near London.
