About the role

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support our team with a range of administrative and project-based tasks. The Membership and Learning team is dedicated to developing, co-creating, and delivering engaging, inclusive learning experiences that foster creativity, curiosity and critical thinking in philanthropy and grant making. In this dynamic role, you'll be involved in organising conferences and meetings, hosting webinars, managing key projects, and building strong relationships across the network. Our members vary from very small teams with two or three staff to well established very well- resourced foundations. Working closely with other teams including Communications, Business Development and Programmes, the Membership and Learning team has an oversight of all UKCF activity relating to our members.

Pregnancy Options Centre (Options) are seeking a Fundraising and Marketing Officer to raise funds for our counselling and education services: supporting people in crisis or distress around unplanned pregnancy or pregnancy loss experiences and educating the next generation on matters surrounding sexual health and healthy relationships. The post-holder will be responsible for raising funds from grants/trusts applications, and for developing and maintaining donor relationships. They will also take the lead on marketing the charity through social media, publicity and our website.

Pregnancy Options Centre provides free, non-directive help and support to anyone facing an unplanned pregnancy or struggling following an abortion or pregnancy loss. We offer a safe, non-judgemental environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings surrounding their situation and experiences. Alongside our counselling service, our Education project delivers interactive workshops to young people on topics surrounding healthy sex and relationships, self-esteem and the three options following an unplanned pregnancy: abortion, adoption and parenting.

Fundraising and Marketing Officer Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising and Finance:

• To carry out and contribute to the fundraising strategy
• Write comprehensive and compelling funding applications to Trusts and Foundations, tailoring them to meet a range of criteria
• To research and develop new funders to support the achievement of fundraising goals
• Build, nurture and maintain positive relationships with current funders, corporates and donors by stewarding them well.

You will be responsible for crafting inspiring content for a range of channels - print, digital, email and social media - working alongside the existing Communications Officer to shape how IMJP communicates its vision, stories and needs to supporters and the wider world. You will need to be an excellent writer and editor, comfortable managing multiple deadlines, and confident working with design tools like Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. Experience with social media, email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, and a good grasp of GDPR and content sensitivity will also serve you well.

Main duties and responsibilities

Communications (30% of work)

• Write and publish short regular newsletters for GRP’s stakeholders, including portfolio donors, wealth adviser partners and donors to operating costs.
• Manage and publish weekly content for GRP’s social media accounts, including LinkedIn and Instagram.
• Manage and curate content for GRP website, ensuring information is accurate, up-to-date and maximising opportunities to attract new donors and supporters.
• Coordinate with GRP’s third-party web developer on website maintenance and regularly re-evaluate site structure/functions to maximise its efficacy and usability.

Event planning (30% of work)

• Lead coordinator for in-person and virtual events, in line with events strategy devised by Strategic Relationships Manager.
• Lead event promotion and liaise with venues, speakers, catering, attendees, videographer, graphic designer, etc to ensure events are well-attended and well-run.

Research (20% of work)

• Drive ad-hoc research projects to support GRP’s partnership-building, core fundraising and portfolio selection/assessment efforts.
• Analyse potential sectors and charities for inclusion in GRP’s charity portfolio.
• Identify and research high-quality trust and foundation leads in line with core fundraising strategy.
• Identify and research high-quality leads for wealth adviser or other corporate partnerships.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) (20% of work)

• Manage GRP’s new CRM system (Beacon) on behalf of team, ensuring the team uses the CRM system consistently, accurately, and effectively. No prior experience with CRMs required – training will be provided.

About the role

We’re looking for a talented and motivated Communications Officer to join our Homes team at the Centre for Ageing Better. In this exciting and varied role, you’ll lead on delivering high-quality, impactful communications that raise awareness of the importance of good quality, accessible housing for older people.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is a strong communicator, creative storyteller and confident writer, able to turn complex ideas into accessible content for a range of audiences. You’ll be comfortable managing multiple priorities, planning communications activity, and working collaboratively across teams.

You’ll bring experience working in a communications role and have a good understanding of media engagement, content creation, and digital communications. Ideally, you’ll also have some knowledge of housing or the challenges facing our ageing population, but more importantly, you’ll have a passion for making change happen through great communications.

About the role
You’ll play a vital role in delivering an ambitious programme of policy and public affairs activity, influencing government, engaging key stakeholders and championing evidence-based policy informed by physiology. Working closely with the Policy and Public Affairs Manager, internal teams, Society members and global experts, your work will span issues such as precision medicine, climate change and health, and research funding. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the broader R&D and policy landscape while supporting a dynamic scientific community.

• Developing policy positions and crafting impactful responses to government consultations

Purpose of the role

Reporting to the Head of Operations and working collaboratively with the Partnerships Project Manager, the Programme Delivery Officer will play a crucial role in the day-to-day programme management of the organisation’s programmes and partnership delivery.

This role will also involve strong elements towards cultivating relationships with key external partners, including businesses, non-profits and other stakeholders, to enhance organisational initiatives, drive growth, and ensure long-term collaboration. Providing rigorous operational support and programme administration as needed.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

· Provide comprehensive support to the Partnerships Project Manager

· Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential new partners to maximise engagement and collaboration.

· Act as a point of contact for partners and project/programme stakeholders.

· Assisting with programme and project initiation, such as design and planning.

· Assisting with programme and project delivery, such as: updating progress, resolving problems, ordering content and collateral, and supporting with other delivery tasks.

· Data analysis and programme reporting, preparing partner reports and tracking performance.

· Organise and deliver outreach and engagement activity (such as running stalls at events) to partners, community groups and local charities.

· Travel to engagement events across the UK
