Shooting Star Children’s Hospices provides specialist care and support to families who have a baby, child or young person with a life-limiting condition, or who have been bereaved. Rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission, we support families across Surrey, north-west London and south-west London from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.

As a Project Officer you will be involved in a range of project work working as part of our wider team and supporting a range of colleagues and project tasks, as well as coordinating activities across the team. You will provide project management support to Managers and staff, ensuring that all project documentation such as project plans, highlight reports, lessons learned reports, risks and issues logs are maintained to a high standard. The post holder will be responsible for their own workload, including having responsibility for preparing meeting agendas and papers, managing the teams calendars and email account.The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will collaborate with clinical and operational teams to diagnose the root causes of issues, design and test solutions, and enact sustainable changes. Projects range from estates programmes to clinical pathway redesign, to digital innovation schemes or supporting individuals to deliver a QI improvement.

The job is based on site in one of our hospices 3 days a week and flexibly either at the hospice or at home for the other 2 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the project management team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and maintaining project documentation

Tracking Progress: Monitor project progress and update project timelines. Report any deviations from the plan to the Project Manager

Database Functionality: Implementing the improvements required to the Caredatabase forms and systems across different teams in the care directorate

Coordination: Coordinate project activities, ensuring that all team members are aligned with project goals and deadlines. Facilitate communication between stakeholders and team members

Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes

Budget Management: Assist in tracking project budgets and expenditures, ensuring that financial resources are used efficiently

Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing updates on project status

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues within the project and assist in developing mitigation strategies

Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time.

The Capital Project Manager will be responsible for leading a £4-5M project that will build a new Cattery facility at our Battersea Old Windsor site. The role will oversee all aspects of the project to ensure the capital project is completed on time, within budget and to the required standards and design. This will include working with colleagues in Animal Care, Infrastructure and Income Generation teams to ensure the project has appropriate funding, the design and build of the cattery meets Battersea’s strategic and operational requirements and that the operational impact of the construction is effectively managed to minimise the impact to dogs and cats across our centres during the works.

Role Purpose

Winston’s Wish is a digital first organisation leading the way in Digital Transformation across the Bereavement sector. This role is new and exciting and will play a vital part in helping Winston’s Wish turn up the dial across our high value fundraising.

As Philanthropy Manager you will be responsible for growing income from major donors and Trusts and Foundations through excellent donor stewardship. Leading a team of committed Trust fundraisers, you will focus on identifying prospective individual donors and foundations and develop lasting relationships with them. You will also support the management of relationships with existing donors, ensuring all donors have an excellent experience of supporting Winston’s Wish and understand the impact of their support on the lives of grieving children.

Main Responsibilities

Leadership

• To lead and inspire the Philanthropy team fostering a collaborative and high culture that delivers against income and objectives.
• Provide clear and supportive leadership that motivates staff to achieve, develop and grow in their roles.
• Undertake quarterly reviews for all direct reports.

Philanthropy Fundraising

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with high-value donors, ensuring effective solicitation, stewardship, and follow-up to secure significant contributions (six-figure gifts).
• Build and maintain a portfolio of Trust & Grants supporters. Responsible for researching, approaching and developing compelling applications with a focus on ensuring Trusts & Grants provide a long-term, diverse and sustainable income stream.
• Lead the development and stewardship of the Philanthropy board to identify and secure transformational (6-7 figure) gifts and the development of the Business development Board to open opportunities with Corporate Partners.
• Write and design a compelling case for support that is tailored to our High Value audiences.
• Lead on planning and delivering successful high value cultivation events.
• Represent Winston’s Wish at fundraising events and meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• You will identify new major donors and Trusts and Foundations who have the potential to make a significant difference to the lives of grieving children. You will develop and implement cultivation strategies to turn prospects into supporters.
• You will work with the Individual Giving Manager to identify mid-level donors who could be stewarded into the major donor pipeline.

Strategy, Planning and reporting

•  You will work alongside the Director of Income Generation to support the development and implementation of a new Philanthropy strategy covering development of a prospect pipeline, building a culture of peer referrals, annual targets and personalised engagement plans.
• Lead on developing and delivering effective stewardship journeys and cultivation plans.
• Produce regular reports on fundraising activity, analysing performance against targets, and identifying areas for improvement and growth.
• Work with the Director of Income Generation to develop the annual budget, including leading on monthly performance reports and contributing to quarterly reforecasts and reporting against KPI’s and milestones.
• Undertake research and make use of tools to identify potential High Value partners.

Collaboration

• Work closely with the Director of Income Generation, SLT and other teams to maximise high value fundraising opportunities.
• Where appropriate, you will involve Winston’s Wish senior staff and the Board of Trustees to make the most of opportunities to engage and build relationships with existing and potential supporters.

About the Legacy Manager role:

The Public Fundraising team are responsible for recruiting and stewarding new supporters in order to secure long-term income and growth. The fundraising team has real ambition to grow and develop, and Legacy and  In-memory giving will form a key part of these plans.

You will lead on the development and implementation of a new Legacy & In Memoriam fundraising strategy that will

support our vision to grow income in this area. To do this you will be an ambitious, confident and experienced Legacy fundraiser with a passion for excellent customer experience and a natural collaborator. You will be

This is an opportunity to build and shape Legacy and In-mem giving at Royal voluntary service. You will be responsible for putting together plans to acquire new donors as well as building comprehensive stewardship plans for legacy pledgers and in-memoriam donors.  You will have experience of delivering legacy events, marketing and setting and meeting ambitious KPI’s.

Opportunity 1:Manager, ImpactEd Evaluation

The Manager role works across ImpactEd Evaluation. Our partners encompass education organisations such as charities, edtech organisations and government, and schools and multi-academy Trusts. We aim to deliver high-quality research and evaluation projects that help our partners make better decisions to benefit young people.

You will act as a consultant on a range of different partnerships to help partners develop their evaluation strategy and approach. For example, you could deliver independent evaluations for organisations like the Careers and Enterprise Company, Nesta or multi-academy Trusts such as Lift Schools. You will also have opportunities to contribute to development of team strategy and learning and development resources.

As a manager you will act as a project lead, delivering high-quality research projects at scale, and support the creation of specific deliverables for projects led by others. This covers the end to end of research design and delivery, including the creation of Theories of Change and evaluation frameworks, data collection and analysis, and impact reporting to help our partners learn about the effectiveness of their programmes. At manager level you will have the opportunity to take on larger-scope partnerships supported by a project sponsor at senior manager level or above.

Opportunity 2: Manager - Research Partnerships, ImpactEd Evaluation

The Manager role works across ImpactEd Evaluation but with a specific focus in our TRAPs team (targeted research and action projects). The TRAPs team are responsible for our national research projects, and work with both individual schools and groups of schools to sign them up to research cohorts: ensuring they can both contribute to a national research programme as well as gaining specific insights for their own school improvement journey.

You will act as a lead on a range of different partnerships to help partners develop their strategy and approach. For example, you could lead on the management of a key multi-academy trust, or could be supporting other team members with individual school partnerships, as well as supporting the Associate Director of TRAPs with overall research project design and planning. You will also have opportunities to contribute to development of team strategy and learning and development resources.

As a manager you will work closely with an Associate Director, lead on school group account management and support with the overall running and development of the TRAPs team.

The Opportunity

You will play a crucial role in supporting employees across ImpactEd Group, its trading subsidiaries, and associated companies (including TEP Services Limited). As part of the Shared Services team, you will manage and improve operational and finance systems and processes, enable employees to work efficiently, and provide high-quality management information, compliance support, and organisational oversight.

You will also play a key role in supporting the design and successful delivery of core commercial operational processes. This includes:

• Supporting Managing Directors and Sales Teams with the tracking and progression of leads and opportunities within our CRM system;

• Providing data and reports to inform sales forecasting, pricing strategies and performance KPIs;

• Assisting in financial management, forecasting, utilisation analysis, and margin reporting;

• Work closely with the Finance Manager to support the effective provision of our finance function;

• Identifying process improvements and opportunities for automation or system integration;

• Ensuring compliance with agreed protocols for sales, contracting, and cost management.

You’ll manage the day-to-day use and optimisation of commercial and operational systems (e.g., CRM, finance tools), working with colleagues across the organisation to embed scalable, sustainable ways of working. You’ll also work alongside the People team to operationalise systems that support the ImpactEd Group Employee Handbook and core internal services. Limited administrative support for the Group Directors will be a part of the role.

We are seeking an individual to manage the smooth running of all the charity’s services and operations, including data processing requirements and marketing. This role will play a crucial role in guiding the organisation as we look to consolidate and strengthen the structure to increase the long term sustainability of the charity 

We are looking for a highly organised and self-motivated candidate, bringing relevant experience to the role including experience with people, properties, project and database management, to help make a real difference in the lives of tenants and their families by providing high quality assisted living accommodation for adults with a learning disability. 

The four key areas of responsilbity include:

• Providing comprehensive property management: Liason with care providers in order to understand maintenance and imrpovement needs.

• Offering a high standard of support to our residents: In conjunction with the directors, looking for opportunities to improve tenant experience and wellbeing.

The Resident Engagement Manager will be the organisational lead in a new and exciting lottery funded project leading a small team and overseeing the design and delivery of the LEAP service at Homeless Oxfordshire and with wider partners.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Provide leadership across the organisation on resident engagement, learning and skills, co-production and activities.
• To promote the active involvement of the resident’s experience and voice in the delivery, development and monitoring of LEAP service.

LEAP is built on the foundation of strong, supportive relationships that empower residents to move towards stable, independent living. Through one-to-one key worker support, trauma-informed care, and community engagement, residents rebuild trust, form friendships, and gain confidence. Activities like gardening, arts and crafts, and creative writing foster connection and personal growth, while group involvement helps residents feel part of a wider community. Over three years, the project aims to support 750 individuals. Through a wide range of engaging and meaningful activities, residents will experience positive outcomes such as increased confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of inclusion. They will build supportive networks, learn key life skills and access training, volunteering, and employment opportunities. Many will gain qualifications and secure long-term accommodation. The project strengthens peer support and enables residents to shape services through formalised Residents’ Forums, ensuring their voices influence senior decision-making. For Homeless Oxfordshire, LEAP enhances our capacity to deliver peer-led support, builds staff knowledge, and informs service improvement. · Trusts & grants: Research, write, and submit compelling funding applications to trusts, foundations, and grant-making bodies to secure new and repeat funding.

St Bride Foundation (SBF) is seeking a Collections and Archives Manager with strong project management and collections management skills to support the development, preservation, and accessibility of our library and archive collections. The Collections and Archives Manager will manage the smooth running of the Reading Room, library enquiry services and manage our library volunteers.
