About the Role

About the role

Solent Mind delivers Wellbeing services across Hampshire, including Eastleigh, Winchester, Fareham and Gosport and the New Forest. This post is based in the New Forest locality. The Wellbeing services provide a range of support, including one to ones, courses and workshops delivered both within the centres and via digital platforms.

The Senior Wellbeing Advisor will support clients through one to ones assessments, facilitating educational courses and social/activity groups, with the aim of enabling people to achieve their goals in a person-centred and inclusive approach.

Hours: 18.5 hrs to include 1 in 4 Saturdays, remaining hours must include a Tuesday and Wednesday.

Location: The Hollies, New Milton.

We are looking for a dynamic, self-starting and motivated individual who will work as the sole fundraising staff member in a growing team for a small youth mentoring/mental health charity that is based in Oxfordshire. We are currently a team of around 10 working in schools in Oxford and the surrounding area. 

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a fundraiser, with prior experience, who is passionate about youth mental health and wellbeing, and who wants to make a real difference to the life chances of children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Single Friendly Church Network is a young charity which encourages churches to welcome and value single people at every stage of life and of all types of singleness. Our work and influence are growing across a wide range of denominations. We want to reach more churches across the UK who could benefit from our resources and training, with the vision that all single Christians will be able to find a welcoming Single Friendly Church in their local area where they can flourish.

About Pathfinders Neuromuscular Alliance

Pathfinders is a user-led charity run by and for people living with muscle-weakening conditions. We support disabled people and those who employ personal assistants (PAs) through peer support, information, training, and advocacy. We believe in the power of lived experience and centre disabled voices in everything we do.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Project Coordinator to lead the delivery of an exciting new learning and development project for individual employers and personal assistants. The project will support people who employ PAs through direct payments and their PAs to develop the knowledge and skills they need through videos, peer-led training, discussion sessions, and case studies.

You will oversee the planning, coordination and delivery of the project, ensuring activities run smoothly, are well-attended, and meet the needs of learners. You’ll work closely with people with lived experience of employing PAs, guest speakers, partner organisations, and the wider Pathfinders team to deliver high-quality, accessible training and resources.

Established in 2000, our services range from grant and contract bid writing and review, to developing fundraising strategies, developing M&E frameworks and undertaking project and programme evaluations. We also offer a range of strategic support, mentoring and training. We work with lots of amazing charities, both local and national, small and large, across the UK, covering themes such as: Homelessness; addiction; youth; community; disability; mental health; minoritised groups; medical conditions; heritage; environment and more.

We are seeking an exceptional fundraiser who can offer a strong track record of driving organisational growth in the voluntary sector. Multi-year experience in two or more of the following core service areas is essential:

• Achieving major grant funding from trusts, foundations, lottery distributors, public sector agencies or similar.
• Planning and developing successful contract tender submissions.
• Planning and developing successful fundraising strategies and action plans.
• Major Donor, Legacy or Corporate fundraising strategy and delivery

The role is varied and interesting - managing a portfolio of clients and supporting them directly or strategically with their fundraising, impact evaluation and organisational development. Our consultants are all employees and we work closely together as a supportive team, sharing and developing skills and knowledge. We anticipate the appointee may not hold experience across all core areas of our services. We will enable the appointee to focus on projects that play to their strengths and experience and provide further support and training as necessary.

Based from home (must be UK resident), with ad hoc client and team meetings/socials (all travel paid), mostly within England. All IT equipment provided. Full-time or part-time (minimum 0.8 FTE - 28 hrs).

1. About Chance to Shine

We are Chance to Shine: a children’s charity dedicated to harnessing the power of cricket to transform the life prospects of young people in the UK.

It is our mission that all young people have the opportunity to play, learn and develop through cricket. We want them to learn a love of the game and to find a sense of belonging through the sport, developing their wider wellbeing and life skills to help fulfil their potential.

Established in 2005, we have a long-term track record of delivery in state schools and under-served communities, bringing best-in-class cricket programmes to young people aged 5 to 24 who might not otherwise have the opportunity to play. All our programmes are completely free for everyone involved, from schools and community groups to young people and their families.

2. Purpose of the Role

The core purpose of Finance Assistant’s role is to support the Finance and Resources team at Chance to Shine. The Finance and Resources team provide day to day support to all departments in the charity and trading subsidiary, Chance to Shine Enterprises Ltd, around finance, office, HR and general administration. The role is based at our London office with some working from home allowed.

3. Key Responsibilities

The Finance Assistant’s responsibilities include:

Finance

· Recording and analysing income and expenditure and posting transactions onto SAGE 50 Accounts

· Banking cash and cheques received

• Raising invoices and monitoring debtors
• Administering invoice approval and payment processes

· Operating expense claim procedures and payments

· Liaising with Fundraising team to reconcile income received with Raisers Edge

· Support delivery partner expenditure review process

· Support Finance & Resources department as required with ad hoc administrative support

General support

· To help monitor the finance inbox and respond to general enquiries.

· To help out, as required at Chance to Shine events, such as fundraisers, media events and Chance to Shine competitions.

6. Experience & qualifications

Essential:

• Office experience in a similar sized organisation
• Experience of SAGE 50 Accounts or similar accounting system or a willingness and aptitude to learn
• AAT or similar level accounting qualification (or studying towards) or a strong desire to study accounting as a vocation

Desirable:

• Experience in a finance support role

• Familiarity with CRM contact databases (Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce or similar)

This newly created role is part of a strategic restructure designed to strengthen our management team and deepen our impact. As our services have expanded in scope and complexity, we’re dividing a previously broad role Programme Manager) into two part-time positions to bring in more specialist expertise.

As Head of Advice, you will shape the strategic direction of our advice services, ensuring they align with Sufra’s wider mission and are fully integrated into our food aid provision. You’ll be our designated safeguarding lead, support fundraising initiatives and maintain compliance with funder requirements, and lead our efforts to remain a trusted, accredited provider (AQS and IAA).

Working closely with our experienced Advice Service Manager, you’ll also provide strategic oversight of Open ARMs, our programme supporting asylum seekers, refugees, and migrants to access language skills, healthcare, training, and volunteering opportunities—helping them build new lives in the community.
