Charity People are working with a social welfare charity to find them a new Digital Projects Officer, to help project manage a range of digital initiatives and support with implementation and effectiveness of the charity's operations. Working in a small team, you will assist the Digital Projects Manager to identify opportunities for digital improvements with existing processes, and to upskill staff to use new and existing digital tools. You will help lead on digital projects for the charity, to help scope requirements, understand regulatory needs, costs, and advise on process and implementation. You will source, manage, and assess suppliers and agencies for digital projects.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated team player who thrives working as part of a small collaborative team and has strong experience of working successfully in a similar digital project's role for a large charitable organisation with recent knowledge of digital and fundraising innovations, best practice, and compliance requirements.

You will require an understanding of implementing large and complex digital projects including project scoping, and experience of analysing and reporting on KPIs to monitor service performance. Therefore, the team require someone who has worked in a digital projects role in the sector, who has the confidence to come in and take ownership of projects.

The role is set to start early October with interviews being held at the end of September.

Please note, the hourly rate will be based on the working arrangements. If the successful postholder requires remote working then the hourly rate is based on a salary of £32,590 per annum, if the candidate works two days per week in the London office, then the hourly rate would be based on £36,502 per annum.

The King's Trust International are seeking a Digital Content Specialist to lead with designing content for our WhatsApp based chatbot – Get Ready.

Get Ready is an interactive digital personal development programme that creates a safe and supportive space for young people to develop key life and employability skills. Responsibilities and Person Specification:

The Media Communications Manager is responsible for overseeing Independent Age’s media communications programme, including media and PR, social media, celebrities and stories. They will lead the team to secure profile-raising coverage for our work in a range of print, online and broadcast media outlets including national news, consumer, sector-specific, and regional titles, oversee our organic social media and ensure our channels amplify our work and reach older people, decision makers and other influential stakeholders.

The Media Communications Manager will build excellent relationships with older people with lived experience of poverty, ensuring the voices of older people in financial hardship are at the centre of everything we do. They will also grow the organisations relationships with journalists, channel owners, celebrities, ambassadors, and other influencers to ensure that our media communications activity supports our organisational objective to tackle poverty in later life.    

You should have broad experience of developing and implementing innovative, successful profile-raising plans (across digital and traditional channels).  You will bring an ability to work both proactively and reactively, and experience of handling reputational or crisis issues. You should also have a passion for, and affinity with, the charity’s cause.

About the role

The Digital Optimisation Analyst is instrumental in advancing Christian Aid's digital strategy and supporting colleagues in achieving their ambitious digital, fundraising and supporter engagement goals. Through utilising measurable data and analytical tools such as Google Analytics, the role provides in-depth campaign analyses, performance reports, and a deep dive into users' online activities and behaviours. The deliverable insights and contributions empower teams to make data-driven, impactful decisions that generate positive change across the organisation.

Purpose 

We’re looking for someone who wants to combine their passion for social change with their commitment to digital communications. The person in this role will line manage a small and talented team of two officers (Marketing and Content, and Digital Communications), and should enjoy supporting others to flourish through a kind and relational approach.

 This is a new role at the DEC and developed as a key part of the DEC’s 2024-2029 strategy. The DEC has a wide range of established relationships with trusts and foundations, many of which give 6- and 7-figure sums to DEC appeals. The Trusts & Foundations Manager will be responsible for providing excellent stewardship to our portfolio of trusts and foundations. In addition, the role will also be responsible for cultivating new relationships for the DEC through thorough research, and through the prospect development cycle, to raise money for DEC appeals. In addition to appeal fundraising, the Trusts & Foundations Manager will be responsible for delivering on a new core cost fundraising strategy, in close partnership with the Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships.

Demonstrable, transferable trusts and foundations experience and knowledge, (preferably within the humanitarian & charity sector), will hold you in good stead for this exciting new role.

Key responsibilities include:

Strategic Development: Develop and manage the trusts and foundations portfolio and create compelling proposals for future appeals and core costs income. Showcase new ideas and innovative approaches for growing and developing a pipeline of new prospects. Develop engaging stewardship plans.

• Work with Head of Communications and Senior Communications Executive to identify areas for improvement and recommending solutions, including proofreading existing work
•  Work with the digital team to create a website usage report and make recommendations for improvements
•  Support the events manager in organisation of BSG events including webinars and face to face events as required
• Work on the BSG stand at the annual conference and do other tasks as may be required

EXPERIENCE

• 2 years experience in a communications or similar role
• Experience using a website CMS and mailing system/CRM.
• Experience using social media scheduling and analytics tools
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with good attention to detail
• Good working knowledge of GDPR and good data practices
• Ideally some experience using design tools such as Canva
• Competency with Microsoft Office suite

We are seeking a creative individual with strong storytelling skills and experience of working in a press office to join the Society’s Communications Team. As Press and Digital Communications Officer you will be responsible for building the Society’s media profile and supporting the implementation of our social media strategy.

Contract: Permanent, full-time post subject to successful completion of a probationary period of three months
Salary range: £32,590 - £35,385 per annum depending on experience and qualifications

The coordinator roles are vital components of this project. We want to attract candidates from the South West of England with sound local knowledge and able to travel in the region - these will be important parts of this job.

Purpose of the roles:

• To be responsible for the development, coordination, and delivery of Neighbourhood Watch’s partner project involving Neighbourhood Watch volunteers within the South West.
• Recruit, training and coordinate volunteers so they can deliver information sessions to community groups. 
• Research areas in needs of support and book venues where information sessions will be delivered by volunteers.
• Be able to travel to events in order to support volunteers and ensuring information sessions are delivered to the highest and consistent standards, and that feedback requests are acted upon swiftly.

Hours of employment are:

0.8FTE (28 hours per week)
8 months fixed term contract. Core hours are Monday to Friday 10am-12pm and 2-4pm with an unpaid lunch break.
