About the role
We are seeking an individual giving officer to support the development and delivery of our individual giving programme. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our fundraising team, helping to grow income and deepen engagement from our supporter base.
Key duties
- Assist in the planning and implementation of individual giving campaigns that deliver sustainable income growth and long-term donor engagement
- Manage supporter engagement and acquisition across multiple channels including social media, email, SMS, direct mail, and online campaigns
- Work closely with the fundraising, research, and communications teams to ensure successful delivery of individual giving activities

Reporting into the Individual Giving Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the Individual Giving team. You will be responsible for the delivery of core elements of the Supporter Acquisition programme, developing engaging communications / products and activity across multiple channels, such as paid search and social, email, telemarketing and offline channels. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the briefing and liaising with the Data team to deliver complex and accurate data selections and reporting requirements.

Person Specification:
• Experience of applying the principles and techniques of Individual Giving / Direct Marketing within a multi-channel, multi-discipline environment, especially through supporter acquisition channels.
• Good project-management experience, including managing budgets, schedules, creative development, and supplier relationships for fundraising direct marketing campaigns.
• Knowledge of best practice digital fundraising, with particular experience of running Search, Social and online campaigns to increase supporters and gather data for future marketing opportunities.

The Programmes Executive plays a key role supporting our community of schools during their time on the programme across the school year. Working alongside the Head of Legacy and In Memory Fundraising, as the Assistant Head of Legacy and In Memory Fundraising, your role will focus on driving key fundraising and stewardship activities. Leading on delivering a multi-channel acquisition and retentions legacy marketing programme aimed at increasing the number of In Memory donors and legacy supporters who will leave a future gift in their Will.

You will lead all aspects of charity financial and resource management for two separate but closely connected charities, the Army Cadet Charitable Trust UK (ACCT UK) and the Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA), which are supported by a single head office team. You will work closely with staff at all levels, often having to mentor the charities’ managers to help them plan and manage their own budgets.
