Responsibilities of our Senior Individual Giving Officer:
- This role is crucial in delivering the charity’s Individual Giving programme, working across multiple communication channels to grow sustainable income for Cats Protection by recruiting and stewarding supporters across a range of products.
- This includes everything from making TV ads, working with Face-to-Face fundraisers, running our digital campaigns, mailings, telemarketing campaigns, and much more– all of which feature cats at the heart, of course. You will need to work with both internal departments and external agencies to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
About the Individual Giving Team:
- We sit within the Marketing & Income Generation directorate
- Our team is responsible for the recruitment and retention of individual supporters to generate over £22 million each year and provide leads for the other teams in the directorate
- We currently have a team of 13 working across Acquisition and Retention on our Appeals and Raffles, Membership, Sponsorship, Lottery and regular giving programs using Mail, Face to Face, DRTV, email, Digital, Social and other paid media
What we’re looking for in our Senior Individual Giving Officer:
- Extensive experience in an Individual Giving or similar role, ideally working with agencies in the third sector
- Experience in leading the organisation of projects/activities or schedules
- Experience in budget management, ideally with multiple income and expenditure items
- Proven track record of achieving income against agreed financial targets, and measuring against KPIs
- Experience of at least some broad-based fundraising, such as Direct Mail, DRTV, telephone, digital or face-to-face fundraising

The role
This exciting new role encompasses marketing, digital, fundraising, membership services, and volunteering. It will lead on the development and implementation of innovative campaigns and communications, enhance digital presence, and support the growth of audience engagement and related income streams to support the charity's mission.
Key responsibilities:

About you

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced communications professional to join our Campaigns and Regional Engagement team. You will assist in raising the profile of physiotherapy throughout London, the South-East Coast, the East Midlands and the East of England, and support our work to influence key stakeholders.
Through the development of effective communications, you will engage and inspire Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) members to promote the value of physiotherapy in their communities, whilst also building opportunities to increase the profession’s influence with local decision makers. What You’ll Do
Advocacy & Policy Influence
- Lead the delivery of advocacy strategies to raise awareness about the benefits of family-based care and the harms of institutions, including orphanages
- Manage MJF Global’s advocacy partnerships, supporting joint campaigns and influencing initiatives

The Hospice has invested in digital development. The Director of Media and Digital income oversees income to the value of £400k with a trajectory for growth. The legacy pipeline was redesigned in 2024 with an award winning film “I will 1%” inspired by the work of Richard Ratcliffe. The Hospice is one of over 100 Hospices working with Hospice UK to promote legacy funding at a national and local level with a combined campaign. Investment for the future means The Hospice has a centrally managed people and systems team, this includes management of our CRM (Donify), enabling the Executive Team report on KPIs with internally triangulated data for better decision-making. The Hospice is also working with Finegreen to recruit an interim Head of Philanthropy to review the approach to philanthropy to date and make clear recommendations. Reporting to the Charity Director you will take the lead on establishing a fundraising programme. You will also support our community and membership fundraising, recruiting and supporting volunteer fundraisers and helping to improve and maintain our membership & donation processes.

Your Experience
We are looking for a candidate who has a background in charity fundraising, in particular community, Trust and Foundation fundraising.
Key responsibilities
Fundraising from Trusts and Foundations
Leading on applications to trusts and foundations with input from the Charity Director and delivery teams as needed, incl:

Writing and submitting high quality applications to trusts and foundations that reflect The Vitiligo Society and our members' stories.

Researching potential charitable trusts and foundations to approach for funding.

Build and maintain positive relationships with key personnel in relevant funding organisations.

Support monitoring and evaluation and coordinate relevant reporting to funders.

Establishing and maintaining a funders database within our existing CRM system.
Community Fundraising

Assisting with improving the processes for donations from individuals.

Working in cooperation with the staff, trustees and volunteers to develop and deliver up to 3 fundraising campaigns per year (a minimum of 1).

Recruiting and supporting community volunteers to undertake fundraising activities.
Other Fundraising

Working with the Charity Director to develop the organisation’s Trusts and Community fundraising strategy.

Assist with the development of a corporate fundraising strategy as appropriate.

Assist with the reporting on income generation and evaluating progress.

Keeping up to date with best practice in fundraising and fundraising trends.
People Management

Oversee the engagement of volunteer fundraisers, supporting them to undertake community fundraising activities and sharing their stories to inspire others.

Build, and encourage, positive working relationships with other staff to ensure members receive relevant information at the right time and that communications reflect the lived experience of individuals affected by vitiligo.
General

Working within the The Vitiligo Society ethos and values.

Be part of a rota of staff & volunteers answering the Society's helpline

Attend The Vitiligo Society events when required, which may include planning and attending support events virtually and in person.

We are recruiting a Commercial Business Development Lead to drive growth of Sands’ partnerships programme. The postholder will be responsible for securing sector-leading, inspiring and memorable partnerships, including but not limited to multi-year collaborations, sponsorship and cause-related marketing. Demonstrable experience in working across sporting and/or event sponsorship is essential as well as in commercially-led partnerships including retail. The ability to collaborate strategically with those committed to social change is also required.
You will ensure there is an integrated approach across Sands’ functions including other areas of fundraising, engagement, communications and events. This role therefore has a high level of responsibility for the management of internal and external senior relationships.
With a high level of business acumen to identify a robust pipeline, the postholder will seek out partners that align with Sands’ vision, that will place us on the map as the go-to baby charity, thus increasing Sands’ public profile via household brands and high-profile partnership activities.
The post-holder will be able to diversify prospects across different sectors and industries including mental health and wellbeing, health and beauty, groceries, high street retailers, home and leisure, transport, jewellery and commemoration.
You will be skilled at creating bespoke and engaging proposals that captures the interest, trust and needs of key decision-makers. Bereaved parents and families are at the heart of why Sands exists. Sharing their experiences of pregnancy and baby loss, and what connects and involves them with our work, is both an important part of their bereavement journey and a way to demonstrate the need for our vision and mission to succeed. This new role has been developed to support the Communications & Engagement team to develop our story-telling function, build our real stories library and ensure the associated consent and stewardship processes are compassionate, efficient and effective. The Stories Officer will ensure wherever possible, that external communications assets and content created by teams across Sands includes the voices of people touched by pregnancy and baby loss – including those who have been personally affected, and those who are allies of Sands, such as healthcare professionals, corporate partners, research partners, fundraisers and more.
You will have experience of working in a charity stories or communications team, or in a stories-led environment such as journalism.

Leading Connection Support’s fundraising activities, you will generate income from existing sources and new income streams, and inspire funders, donors and local companies to support our work. About you
You will have significant fundraising experience, including trust and foundation fundraising. In addition, you will have experience of at least one charitable income stream, i.e. cooperate, public, major donor or legacy, and a successful track record of delivering results.

You will be passionate about solving homelessness and mental ill-health and share the values of Connection Support.

We are seeking an exceptional fundraiser who can offer a strong track record of driving organisational growth in the voluntary sector. Multi-year experience in two or more of the following core service areas is essential:

Based from home (must be UK resident), with ad hoc client and team meetings/socials (all travel paid), mostly within England. All IT equipment provided. Full-time or part-time (minimum 0.8 FTE - 28 hrs).
