This is a full time permanent role with a minimum of 3 days a week in our Central London office, offering increasing annual leave entitlement based on length of service, as well as office closure between Christmas and New Year. Plus two days for Rosh Hashanah and one day for Yom Kippur should they fall on weekdays.
Key responsibilities
Events
· Oversee, coordinate and deliver our calendar of fundraising events including logistics and administration.
· Help organise our annual Appeal Dinner, the Trust’s flagship fundraising event, overseeing all administration, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and oversee adverts in Appeal Dinner brochure.
· Liaise with companies to arrange corporate events with Holocaust survivor speakers and develop relationships with existing and new companies to increase income in this area.
· Oversee and work with Young HET supporters to motivate them to fundraise for the Trust
· Work with other colleagues to market events through targeted messaging.
· Develop ideas for new fundraising campaigns, initiatives and events to grow income and cultivate new donors.
Community Fundraising
· Support fundraising campaigns including the coordination of appeals, newsletters and mailouts.
· Establish a programme of fundraising challenges (such as marathons and sporting events) to generate income and supporter engagement, building key relationships.
· Work with our Education and Outreach teams to oversee engagement and support from schools, synagogues and other institutions.
· Lead on digital fundraising campaigns and prepare content for social media.
General
· To manage the acknowledgment and thanking of donations and help to ensure the database is maintained.
· Work collaboratively with the Fundraising team on current and future fundraising strategy and activities, to shape fundraising priorities.
· Comply with relevant legislation with regards to data protection including General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.
· As part of a small team, to contribute to other areas of the Trust’s work as required.

The Donor Relations Officer will be responsible for crafting compelling, donor-centred communications that strengthen long-term relationships with partners and supporters, deepen engagement and inspire giving. Qualifications
Required:

What you’ll bring
You’re an experienced, hands-on website professional who enjoys owning websites end to end, using insight, testing and strong technical know-how to improve performance, user experience and impact across a complex organisation.
- Strong experience managing and updating websites via a CMS, with the confidence to troubleshoot issues and take day-to-day ownership
- You’re comfortable leading website projects and development work, juggling priorities and working with multiple stakeholders
- Solid knowledge of SEO (on-page and technical), and experience improving search performance through well-planned content and structure
- You’re confident using tools like GA4, GTM and testing platforms, and enjoy turning data into clear insights and decisions

Key details

Role
Working within the Individual Giving team, you’ll have a varied role managing and supporting the delivery of supporter-centric fundraising appeals which will recruit, retain and/or develop supporters across the cause-led, gaming, in memory and legacy programmes. These appeals will include utilising online and offline channels such as direct mail, organic and paid social advertising, email, private sites, SMS and telemarketing.
This role would suit someone with some experience of marketing or fundraising or who would like to expand their experience of Individual Giving.

Role Summary
As Communications & Operations Officer, you will strengthen how Acumen Academy UK communicates and delivers its mission - supporting bold social leaders and amplifying their stories of change.
Your focus will be on communications: creating and sharing campaigns that tell the story of our Fellows, programmes, and partnerships. Alongside this, you will play a key operations support role, ensuring the smooth running of our programmes, events, and participant communications.
Working closely with the UK Director, Senior Programme Manager, and Acumen Academy’s global marketing team, you’ll help shape how we reach new audiences, engage our growing community, and turn insights into action - while developing your own professional skills and networks.
This role is a full-time role and has a salary of £25,000 to £28,000 per year (depending on experience).
