Job description

The Digital Mobilisation Officer role is responsible for creating and increasing the effectiveness of Friends of the Earth’s online actions. Actions that help us to engage new supporters and mobilise activists around the most important environmental justice issues at local, national and international scale. You'll take simple messaging from our diverse campaigns and transform it into effective online actions that will be sent out to hundreds of thousands of supporters.

Located in the Campaign Activism team, you’ll be working with a wide range of teams and campaigns across the organisation. You'll ensure our campaigns are utilising the most effective online actions, that the results of actions and tests are clearly communicated, and that our actions work for our supporters.

There is a strong emphasis on delivery and proactive implementation of new ideas, creation of reports, and monitoring effectiveness. To support that effectiveness, testing and experimentation will also be a core part of the role. You will be responsible for setting up simple tests on all of our actions, with the opportunity to develop more complex tests of layout and new action ideas alongside the Digital Delivery team.

This is an opportunity to learn new tools, concepts and techniques, and gain a better understanding of how online actions and experimentation can play a role in effective campaigning, recruitment, and activism.

Closing Date: 6th February 2022
