Location: Woking, Surrey – hybrid working (ideally once a week or equivalent per month in the Woking office) or remote working can be discussed. WWF, the largest conservation organisation in the world, is seeking a Digital Fundraising Manager to manage and oversee the expansion of their online fundraising and to achieve acquisition and retention income growth targets.

The Digital Fundraising Manager for WWF International will work to deliver effective digital strategies and techniques across selected markets, with the ultimate aim of maximising short and long term income (primarily unrestricted). The post-holder will create and implement online donor acquisition and retention strategies, as well as develop a diverse portfolio of fundraising products for WWF International. The role is also responsible for providing vision and leadership for WWF International in the fast-moving area of digital fundraising.

This is an exciting time to be joining the team. WWF International is aiming to strengthen its digital fundraising capacity by optimising the current technical infrastructure (contact management tool, mass engagement tool, etc) and develop a strong online donor experience to acquire and retain donors in selected WWF International markets.

The ideal candidate will have significant levels of experience in the field of digital fundraising and of using digital to drive supporter action online and offline. This should include experience of designing, planning and delivering successful digital activities, such as designing and optimising the donor journey, SEM/SEO/SMO, social media (paid social) and/or digital advertising campaigns (paid search, Google grants) that generate incremental income. In terms of skills, you will need to be creative, entrepreneurial, be able to think strategically, design effective data-based action plans, and possess excellent project management skills. Finally, alongside strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, you will be proactive and results-driven with a ‘can do’ attitude to work.

• Collaborating with the other manager on the following:
• Day to day management of the Easy Health website, website management and membership management.
• Day to day management of the Easy Health social media: Creating regular engaging content and posting to the Easy Health twitter and Facebook pages, engaging with replies.
• Co-creating accessible health resources alongside Generate staffs with lived experience of learning disability.
• Designing and delivering training, in collaboration with co-trainers who have learning disabilities.
• Promoting Generate’s health training and easy read work.
• Increasing Generate’s earned income from health training, easy read work and contract delivery.
• Delivering on all the Health Project contracts to increase the accessibility of primary care services and reduce health inequalities for people with disabilities in Wandsworth and the UK.
• Manage a team of consultants and sessional project workers, some with lived experience of learning disability and autism.

Person Specification

We recognise that not every candidate will have all these skills and experiences but are looking for somebody who can show us that they meet a high number of them.

• At least 1 year experience of coordinating or managing projects.
• Experience of website management using a content management system.
• Applied experience of creating accessible digital products and platforms.
• Working knowledge of social media, online campaigns & community engagement, creating engaging and inclusive content.
• Experience of designing and delivering engaging and informative training, including online and blended trainings.
• Knowledge about health inequalities for people with learning disabilities, and the challenges this group of people face in accessing healthcare.

The role

As Digital and Social Media Executive, you’ll have a broad and varied role, working with our Marketing and Digital Manager to develop and implement our digital and social media strategy at a critical time for the Football Foundation and for grassroots sports. Working within the Brand, Marketing and Communications Team, you’ll manage and maintain all our digital and social media channels and support the Marketing and Digital Manager in briefing agencies to create engaging content for our channels.

You’ll work with the wider team to plan impactful campaigns, and deliver the digital and social media elements and any email/CRM campaigns. You’ll also produce campaign analysis reports, including your insight, analytics and recommendations. What can we offer you?

The salary band for this role is £35,000 - £39,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience.

About Emergency Nutrition Network (ENN)

ENN’s vision is: Every individual confronted by malnutrition has access to the knowledge, tools, services and resources they require to meet their needs.  Working in a networked approach ENN contributes research, convenes, brokers and exchanges knowledge to support practitioners within national governments, civil society, UN, donor and academic organisations working on malnutrition. Purpose of the role

To maximise ENN’s impact, functioning and profile through the use of improved communication and digital strategy, accessibility, culture and practice. 

 Key responsibilities

 Communications Strategy

• Lead the development and socialisation of an effective organisational communications strategy and implementation plan
• Analyse and brief ENN team and trustees on evolving Communications and Digital environment.
• Build a Communications and Digital culture through training and mentoring colleagues in the improved use of communications and digital tools and the establishment of organisational norms and ways of working.
• Curation of aligned branding, internal and external communication across all ENN’s workstreams, in line with ENN values and strategic objectives.
• Focal point for all ENN marketing, communications and digital issues
• Understand, segment and expand ENN’s current audience and networks and, in collaboration with others, increase visibility, presence and engagement with ENN’s network and audience
• Develop ENN’s Communications and Digital policies and risk management.
• Work with teams, collaborators and suppliers to embed clear processes, ways of working and guidance to deliver ENN’s communications strategy.

Management and Delivery

• Set up and maintain a communications plan and reporting framework to help drive a coordinated approach to communication across ENN’s portfolio
• Lead work with relevant teams and ENN’s partners to create and deliver digital communications, media and campaign programmes

Training:

• Oversee ENN and partner awareness, knowledge and understanding of the evolving context and best practices in communications, digital and marketing including use of appropriate media levers
• Develop and implement training programmes and pilots for internal colleagues on the use of all communications media around standards, best practices and house styles, including use of social media

​Platform management:

• Manage and develop ENN social media platforms for optimal visibility, engagement and impact, working with donors and collaborators to proactively engage their platforms and networks towards mutually beneficial ends
• Oversee the management and development of ENN’s website including a new CMS and Forum platform
• Review and deliver performance indicators across all relevant platforms to ensure SEO and high user engagement is measured

Content:

• Work with copy editors, proof-readers, designers, podcast and video producers, developers and external agencies to create new, or update existing digital and publications content
• As a member of the FEX editorial team, provide specific and tailored input and support to ENN’s flagship publication Field Exchange (FEX) on style, brand, design and presentation of print and on-line content.
• Develop and apply guidance to ensure content is engaging and consistent with brand, house styles and tone
• Oversee and approve ENN’s social media content
• Develop and manage a bank of content including stories and images for use in ENN’s publications, products, monitoring and evaluation work and media usage.
• Coordinate publication of all marketing and publicity materials to ensure optimised impact

Analytics and reporting:

• Actively use omnichannel and multichannel reporting, analysis and insight to help develop and optimise campaigns, incorporating other monitoring & evaluation outputs where relevant.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

 Essential requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification or experience preferably in media, journalism, science health or humanitarian communications, digital production, marketing or public relations
• Demonstrable experience of creating and implementing successful communication and digital strategies
• Demonstrable experience of planning, creating and publishing engaging content across digital channels
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to adapt technical and scientific information for a range of audiences
• Experience in website project management and implementation
• Excellent team-working skills and ability to work collaboratively and autonomously
• Proficient in SEO, Google Analytics, content marketing and digital marketing strategies
• Experience in web content writing and management, web design and database management
• Experience in managing external communications providers including proof-readers, copy-editors, creatives / designers, translators, podcast and video producers, print publishers and web designers

Duties and key responsibilities

Community fundraising

• Manage and develop regional fundraising by devising a regional community fundraising strategy for income generation.
• Design and develop Sarcoma UK's calendar of annual community fundraising campaigns and events communication, including Cuppa and Cake.
• Introduce fundraising opportunities to our existing and potential supporters through a multi-channelled marketing strategy to grow levels of engagement and participation.
• Identify opportunities and recruit new community fundraisers, fundraising groups, corporate and school partners.
• Work with the Fundraising team to produce regular feedback reports and analysis on specific community products and overall revenue.
• Lead on promotion of community fundraising through digital marketing, PR, speaking engagements and on the ground fundraising.

Management

• Provide line management and day-to-day support to the Regional Fundraising Officer North, building their fundraising knowledge.
• Develop, manage, and monitor budgets for your areas of responsibility.

Income Generation

• Implement agreed KPIs, objectives and budget for the Regional Fundraising Team to drive support and engagement.

Processes, administration, and reporting

• Ensure all recording, and stewardship processes are up to date and working across the fundraising team, wider charity and in accordance with current laws and regulations.
• Ensure necessary Community Fundraising policies are up to date.
• Follow Sarcoma UK’s processes and procedures including risk assessments to ensure a consistent approach and maintain a high level of support expected by our donors and fundraisers.
• Ensure that all activities are compliant with legislation governing fundraising including GDPR, health and safety, Institute of Fundraising, and the Fundraising Regulator Code of Conduct.

Wider fundraising

• Support company and corporate partnerships that utilise community and trade fundraising.
• Support third party fundraising and challenge event portfolio.
• Work with the Events Manager to develop merchandise and trade income opportunities.
• Support with managing merchandise supplier relationships and internal and external stock levels.

General

• The role requires some travel to events and meetings throughout the UK. Some weekend or evening work will also be required and time off in lieu will be given. Travel expenses will be reimbursed (exc. Travel to the Sarcoma UK office).

About the role

Are you an experienced corporate fundraiser with an interest in working in the international development sector? Are you creative, strategic, highly organised, a confident and effective communicator and strong team player? 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager to work closely with the Head of Programme Funding to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. If you are seeking a dynamic and engaging fundraising role which offers you the chance to play a pivotal role within a small but ambitious organisation, then this could be the job for you.

You will be an exemplary relationship builder and have experience in developing multi-faceted corporate partnerships (ideally with experience and success in employee engagement, corporate sponsorship, and/or operational partnerships).

The role also line manages the Senior Fundraising Officer post, a position that provides administrative and fundraising support across the whole fundraising team.  Please note that we are a small team and so you’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to help out team members and to support new business across other restricted income streams.

Role: Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager
Reporting to: Senior Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager
Purpose of job: To work as a key part of the Philanthropy and Partnerships Team, line managed by the Senior Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager, and accountable to the Museum’s Director. This role will bring in vital income from trusts, foundations, corporate partners and individuals to deliver the business plan. This role has responsibility for achieving income targets by collaborating across all departments to understand and translate fundable and core activities into compelling cases for support.
Working pattern: 35 hours per week, usually worked from 10 – 6pm. Flexible/hybrid working offered for up 40% of hours to be worked from home.

Salary: c£36,000-38,000 depending on experience

Who we are looking for:

The Philanthropy & Partnerships team
In Autumn 2023, Foundling Museum delivered a successful, ambitious capital campaign to secure the future of the Museum through a variety of supporters, from individuals, major supporters and trusts/foundations.
The Philanthropy team is responsible for the funding revenue needs of the Museum, which for 2024-25 is c£800,000, making up approximately 36% of total income.
The post of Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager will deliver against personal targets toward this goal. Remaining income includes Arts Council England National Portfolio funding, NLHF funding, core earned income (admissions) and trading activities (retail and venue hire).
The Philanthropy and Partnerships team collaborates closely with the Director, Chair of Trustees and Development Consultants and across all departments to understand and translate fundable and core activities into compelling cases for support. Across a year the team raises vital income for exhibitions, learning and participation activities, events, capital projects, an established endowment fund and unrestricted revenue income.
