This is a great opportunity to join the UK Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK) on a three-month contract as our interim Head of Marketing Delivery.
The Marketing Team comprises of a diverse range of marketing skills, with special emphasis on digital, working in cross-disciplinary teams to deliver against a wide range of objectives. We engage supporters at every stage of their relationship with UUK, from initial brand awareness through to leaving a gift in a will.
As the Head of Marketing Delivery, you will lead a large team of marketers responsible for delivering multi-channel, supporter-centric campaigns that engage supporters across all products and stages within the marketing funnel.
You will lead the development of a positive, inclusive team culture in line with Our Shared Commitment. You will be responsible for people management and supporting the development of these marketers. You will work closely with the other Heads of Marketing to ensure our strategic objectives are achieved sustainably, with the wellbeing and productivity of the team at its heart.
To achieve this, you will have a track record of successfully managing a large team, including oversight of training, development, recruitment and managing performance. You will have extensive digital marketing experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and be able to build the team’s skills and capabilities to make the most of emerging opportunities.

About the Role
BCYP is seeking a seasoned Communications and Marketing Officer who will design and implement a strategy to boost BCYP’s brand and support the efforts of clinicians. The candidate will also support the fundraising team through grassroots event management and the adoption of a small portfolio of donors. Some event and project management will be required, in particular supporting the delivery of seminars and training programmes, as well as community events.

A Prevention Programme Manager designs and implements effective prevention initiatives across different regions. We are looking for an experienced Campaigns Manager, who is passionate about driving change and has knowledge and experience of Communications and managing staff. This is a temporary post, whilst we go out to recruitment for a permanent post, during the busiest time of the year for White Ribbon.

About Dravet Syndrome UK
Dravet Syndrome UK (DSUK) is a small independent UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Dravet Syndrome. Dravet Syndrome is a rare neurological condition that affects around one in every 15,000 people in the UK. As well as experiencing severe, difficult-to-control seizures, children and adults with Dravet Syndrome have varying degrees of intellectual disability and a spectrum of associated conditions (known as ‘comorbidities’), which may include autism, ADHD, behaviours that challenge and difficulties with speech, mobility, eating and sleep.
The charity was founded in October 2008 by a small group of 30 families. Today, DSUK is a registered charity helping over 550 families with support, education, and research programmes, underpinned by a world-class Medical Advisory Board.
What you will bring
Essential
· Demonstrable experience in planning and delivering engaging and targeted social media content to build community, raise awareness and drive engagement.
· Hands-on experience managing websites (using WordPress), delivering e-marketing campaigns (e.g. Mailchimp or similar), and applying SEO principles and other techniques to optimise digital communications and online visibility.
· Demonstrable experience in media relations, including writing press releases, working with case studies and successfully pitching and responding to a range of media (online, press, radio, broadcast)
· Demonstrable experience of working in charity, patient advocacy or healthcare sectors
· Ability to deal with people at all levels with empathy, tact and credibility
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to distil large amounts of information and present it in engaging and innovative ways for a variety of audiences
· Demonstrable design skills and knowledge of desktop publishing software e.g. using Canva to create in-house designs for social media and our website
· Act as a brand guardian, ensuring external designers and agencies understand and apply our brand, visual identity, and corporate communications guidelines effectively
· Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise
· Be a self-starter and team player with experience of remote working, and able to work effectively with colleagues using remote technology (e.g. Zoom, Google meets, etc)

· Membership of a professional body such as Chartered Institute of Public Relations and/or a commitment to continuous professional development

About the Organisation
This is a brand new locally run youth charity, and will be the first Youth Zone in Yorkshire. The Generous Giving Manager is a very exciting and influential role at the Diocese, as you will build on the strong and energetic foundations within our two-person Generous Giving Team to strengthen the financial sustainability of local churches by encouraging generosity in time, talents and financial giving.
Working closely with deaneries, parishes and their leadership teams, you will identify local challenges and opportunities for generous giving, sharing innovative giving practices to help parishes and deaneries develop creative and effective ways to resource their mission.
Communicating clearly and inspiringly the principles of Christian giving to diverse audiences, you will keep up to date with National Church resources, promoting and supporting a wide range of giving methods such as the Parish Giving Scheme (PGS), online and contactless giving. You will also offer guidance to parish officers for resources on giving campaigns, legacies and grant funding.
