support the wider Re-engage team in the delivery of our grant funded projects.
This role has a national UK remit and as and where the need arises.
Engagement Officer tasks and requirements:
- Growing and developing our network of referral partners, including social prescribers and link workers, ensuring that Re-engage's work is promoted to people aged 75+ who are experiencing social isolation and loneliness.
- Utilise Re-engage's CRM (OPUS) to inform evidence-based, data-driven decision-making to develop effective engagement plans.
- Working closely with the service delivery team ensuring that the right people are recruited and engaged into the right roles, in the right place, and at the right times.
- Collaborating with the communications team to support the widest possible publicity for the charity’s needs through media and social media opportunities, local press, radio, TV, and online forums.
- Liaising closely with the fundraising team delivering against recruitment targets linked to grants and supporting them with persuasive proposals and grant applications, using acquired national knowledge and collecting case studies.
- Identifying speaking and presenting opportunities ensuring that Re-engage's work is promoted to referrers.
- Joint accountability, with colleagues, for growing the engagement of older people and the recruitment of volunteers into Re-engage's portfolio of services.
- Carrying out any other reasonable tasks assigned to you by your line manager.

Purpose of the Operations Manager role:
As Operations Manager, the successful candidate will play an integral role in the effective day to day management of key business support services including operations, IT data and premises. Operations:

We are looking for an experienced Administration and Systems Manager to join our enthusiastic and friendly Operations team. Help Counselling is a small Mental Health charity providing one-to-one counselling, both in person and online to adults over 18. We are also a well-established clinical training placement provider for trainee counsellors and psychotherapists studying with prestigious training organisations in London.
About Help
Help Counselling is well-established Mental Health Charity with a heritage of over 50 years. We provide training placements for clinical supervisors, counsellors and psychotherapists who need to gain clinical experience to qualify (or further qualify) and be registered with one of the industry professional bodies such as, BACP or UKCP. For ethical reasons, the work trainee counsellors / psychotherapists do is unpaid, i.e., they must volunteer their time.
This volunteer model enables Help to fulfil its charitable aim of providing low-cost counselling services. It can take between 3-5 years to qualify, and our training placements are for minimum of 12 months meaning we can also provide clients with long-term help. Having consistence and continuity plays a pivotal role in building a safe, therapeutic, and trusting alliance between the counsellor and client.
The blend of low-cost and long-term talking therapy is much needed in a time of increasing demand for mental health support and increasing complexity of presenting issues.
About the job
The purpose of this role is to manage the daily administrative operations and a small administration team of 2 people. The objective being to ensure that we meet our monthly targets, are compliant with the requirements of BACP, run efficiently and deal with exceptions in a timely, ethical, and effective manner.
Currently our client volumes are between 250-350, we have approximately 90 counsellors and clinical team of approximately 20.

Salary and annual leave

Director (Cynnal Cymru)
Location: Flexible working/ Cardiff office base/Home working/Client sites
Contract Type: Permanent/ Full time
Salary: £55,000 to £60,000 (pro rata) dependent on experience
Hours: 30 or 37.5 hours per week (4 or 5 days)

Cynnal Cymru is the leading sustainable development organisation in Wales. With charitable aims at our core, we provide advice, training and connections to help organisations take bold decisions for a fairer and more secure future.
We are looking for an ambitious individual who can help us strengthen our skills and expertise and lead us through a period of consolidation and change as we continue to deliver our ambitious agenda of enabling action towards a fair and just society, a low carbon economy and a thriving natural environment.
You may be an experienced CEO or an experienced senior manager looking for a step up. Our new Director will be skilled in both people and organisational management, with very good business and financial acumen.

We are interested in hearing from candidates with:
- A keen understanding of sustainable development and its status in global, national, and local contexts
- Significant and recent successful management experience at executive or senior level
- Experience of generating income, managing commercial and non-commercial income streams, and leading a financially sustainable organisation
- Experience of working in a small team, bringing together individuals from different parts of an organisation and delivering change
