Role description
As Commercial Sales & Events Coordinator you’ll provide essential administrative and operational support to the weddings and event hire team. Dealing with initial enquiries and conducting show-rounds to putting together event packages and maintaining the booking system are all in a days work. In addition, you’ll be adept at liaising with clients and suppliers, setting up for events and delivering the best possible experience to guests on the day – always making sure we deliver a first-class service. Weddings, film shoots (we can certainly name drop a few people!), event and venue hires - you’ll deliver excellent customer service and administrative support. The role will further develop and review our current trusts and foundations strategy, with a focus on growing and renewing five- and six-figure income from Trusts, Foundations and grant making bodies. This is an ideal role for an experienced and collaborative Trust fundraiser, capable of developing long-lasting relationships and build compelling cases for support that secure transformational donations for an iconic institution.

At Streatham Youth and Community Trust, our vision is that all children and young people living and going to school in Streatham reach their full potential, should have a safe and happy childhood and the foundations they need to thrive.
We are looking for a committed and collaborative senior leader to help us improve and expand our service offer at our Streatham Vale Park and Wellfield Road sites.
The succesfull candidate will be a proactive and confident leader, with strong community engagement skills and a track record of delivering high quality after school and holiday provision for children and young people. In addition to our afterschool and holiday provision, you will also be responsible for our stay and play services and our sports-focussed youth work at Streatham Vale Park and our employability services at Wellfield Road.
The role is a great opportunity to join the senior leadership team of a well-established local youth charity and help us to shape and grow our service offer to meet the changing needs of the local community.
