The main focus of the role is to secure income for large-scale capital investment at Stanley Arts; alongside developing and maintaining relationships with statutory funders and trusts who maysupport programming and core running costs of the
building. Funding bodies will include Arts Council England, the National Lottery Heritage Fund and other voluntary sources, predominantly trusts and foundations.

The Development Manager will play a central role in securing income for Stanley Arts through two key areas:

1) Overseeing fundraising across trusts, foundations, statutory funders, corporate partners, and individual donors to support programming and core running costs.

2) Developing and delivering a major fundraising campaign to raise funds for a large-scale capital investment in Stanley Art’s future.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Development Manager will help shape the organisation’s strategic direction and ensure fundraising is embedded across the organisation. They will lead on individual giving and donor development, alongside capital, trust, and foundation fundraising.

Reporting to the Artistic Director/CEO, the Development Manager will line-manage and collaborate with the freelance Fundraiser, and work closely with the General Manager and Data & Insights Officer to ensure effective bid writing, relationship management, and reporting.

Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a fundraising/development role, preferably 
within arts, heritage, or cultural organisations.
- Experience of individual giving programmes, including donor cultivation, 
stewardship, and retention.
- Proven track record of successful major funding applications to trusts, foundations, 
statutory bodies, and corporate funders.
- Knowledge of fundraising regulations, best practice, and ethical standards.

The Head of Philanthropy will lead on day-to-day fundraising across individual giving, memberships, appeals and campaigns for Leeds Playhouse. The Head of Philanthropy will play a key role in shaping and delivering sustainable income growth through individual giving, and major donor engagement—ensuring our work is resourced for the long term.

The post-holder will report to the Strategic Director of Fundraising & Development, deputising as required, and will line manage the Development Administrator. This role is predominantly based at Leeds Playhouse with some scope for hybrid working, complementing the Strategic Director role (a part-time role, mostly working remotely).

This is a permanent, full time contract. We would like to fill a requirement for 35 hours per week, which is full-time for this role, with some flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required. However, we are open to hearing from people interested in part-time work or job sharing. Pay for the role is £35,700 per year based on 35 hours per week.

The Role

The Development Assistant underpins the important work of the Development Department to raise funds from private funders, including individuals, trusts & foundations, corporate partners, and international funders. Summary of the role:

The Income Generation Support Officer will provide day-to-day administrative departmental support and support to the department Director to ensure the successful delivery of the organisation’s operations in an efficient manner. This role will focus on generating reports, tracking progress, and ensuring all the necessary processes relating to compliance, finance and HR are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

About the Role:

1. Maintain and improve departmental filing systems to achieve maximum efficiency.
2. Prepare purchase orders and document payments according to Muslim Aid’s financial procedure and in conjunction with the Finance team to ensure speedy payment of invoices for internal / external stakeholders.
3. Undertake small-scale project work including researching, analysing and recommending next steps.
4. Provide support to the IGM management team in responding to correspondence, booking meetings, minute-taking, planning and supporting events, organising travel and preparing travel itineraries and relevant tasks as required.
5. Track Managers delivery of action points to ensure timeframes and outcomes are met, escalating to Head or Director of IGM for further action as appropriate.
6. Undertake full inbox and extensive diary management, ensuring an effective use of time and preparation of information in advance. Sort, redirect and action emails and review an effective ‘bring up’ system to brief and prepare the Director Income Generation and Marketing for meetings / events.

You will have the opportunity to support the growth of Stewardship over the coming years as we identify new clients to join the ecosystem that enables Kingdom ministry to happen all over the UK and around the world.

An understanding of the faith aspects of the work of Christian charities, including the preparedness to pray with colleagues, where appropriate.

Salary: £32,268 - £34,131 per annum 

We are seeking a Philanthropy Coordinator, Trusts & Foundations, to join the BFI’s Fundraising & Enterprise department.  You will contribute to BFI Philanthropy income targets and develop and maintain relationships with grant-making bodies. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Generate income for the BFI through the production of successful grant applications and to increase Trust and Foundation commitments through a flawless donor care programme, in complement to BFI Philanthropy’s communications schedules

• In conjunction with colleagues across the Philanthropy team, and the wider BFI, research and identify prospective funders in the UK and abroad

• Collaborate with the Philanthropy Manager, Prospect and Donor Insights to ensure an efficient and progressing pipeline of grant-making prospects and funders

We are looking for candidates who have: 

• Experience of stewardship including accreditation and event management. 

• Experience of writing grant applications. 

• Knowledge of fundraising processes and techniques. 

• Ability to think creatively in identifying and developing funding opportunities.

External Relations and Admin Officer

This is a key role in the Freedom Fund’s External Relations team, which encompasses both Strategic Partnerships and Communications. Based in New York, the postholder will provide vital administrative, research, and logistical support to strengthen the effectiveness of the team, with a primary focus on philanthropy and donor engagement through the Strategic Partnerships function.

This role combines prospect research support, day-to-day team administration, and responsibility for managing the New York office. It will also provide coordination and support to the Managing Director of External Relations, and some ad hoc support to the Communications team, to ensure aligned, efficient, and high-quality external engagement. By keeping operations running smoothly, supporting donor-facing activities, and helping colleagues efficiently manage portfolios of donors and prospects, the Officer plays a crucial role in enabling the External Relations team to advance the Freedom Fund’s fundraising and communications goals.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a dynamic, mission-driven team working to end modern slavery.
