With experience of working in a complex environment, you will be organised with a high-level of attention to detail, plus have the ability to work alongside adjacent departments in Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.

As well as evidence of high-level strategic thinking, you will be comfortable diving into the day-to-day work, and so a broad skill set is a must together with a sharp focus on delivering return-on-investment, demonstrating impact of campaigns on revenue, and building our audiences.
This is a complex role requiring a high level of political acumen, excellent relationship skills and a desire to improve our ability and capacity to generate income at every level, from digital fundraising to major gifts.
The Charity has been serving the Hospital Trust for 17 years and has given over £60m funding for specialist equipment, medical research, enhancements to the hospital environment, and staff wellbeing and support programmes.

An exciting opportunity for a motivated and creative fundraiser to develop a strategic programme of mid to high level donors for a charity working to build a fairer UK justice system within everyone’s reach.

We now seek to appoint a new Head of Philanthropy as a key member of the Development Team. Working closely with the Director of Development, President and wider Fellowship, the Head of Philanthropy will manage major gift prospect activity and raise funds to support the strategic objectives of the College. Main Responsibilities:
• Operational responsibility for delivering agreed Philanthropy financial targets and the implementation of fundraising solicitation plans
• Co-ordination of relationships with 60 – 70 major gift prospects – to include individuals, trusts, foundations, and corporates – through: identification, research, creating solicitation plans and monitoring and developing those plans; making personal visits to ask alumnae (and others) to support the College financially
• Liaising with and involving the Director of Development, President, and Fellowship as appropriate, as regards the research into, planning for and involvement of potential benefactors to the College
• Acting effectively as one of the three senior leaders in the Development team, providing support to the Director of Development and actively contributing in strategy development and planning
• Managing the Development Officer so that they are confident and effective in their role

We are looking for a Finance and Payroll Officer to join our team. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all high value fundraising activity, including proposals, applications, and donor interactions, and be able to regularly report this activity back to the Head of Philanthropy.
