This is a newly created role to support in our growth and commercialisation of our products. We are looking for a commercially minded individual who can lead on income generation for National Services.

We are at an exciting time where we have a mixture of existing offers as well as new products ready to launch, including, Autism Confidence, e-learning and our Careers Education Framework.

We have been working with employers, schools and higher education institutes for several years in the development of our Employ Autism programme, providing training and consultancy for employers and education providers as well as paid work experience for autistic young people.

You'll secure income from employers, providers and partners for our Employability and Training team through our Employ Autism programme, developing and implementing a sales plan to secure new long-term strategic partnerships with nationwide businesses.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Sales, new business and/or experience of maintaining multiple client relationships.
• A demonstrable track record of working successfully with businesses in a development capacity to acquire and maximise relationships.
• Good knowledge of the commercial sector and employability/training services.
• Excellent presentation skills to engage a range of internal/external stakeholders.

Brief role description:

Are you looking to make a meaningful contribution to nature’s recovery in Wiltshire through a diverse portfolio of projects including farmer engagement and land advice, ecology and natural capital?

Wiltshire Wildlife Trust is committed to driving forward nature’s recovery on a landscape scale and we are looking for a committed and innovative Head of Nature Recovery – Maternity Cover (secondments welcome) to continue to drive forward the development of this work. This is a key role for our Trust, in which you’ll use your expertise and knowledge to continue our efforts to drive meaningful change for nature, further developing our work via our innovative collaborations, pioneering natural capital markets, meaningful farmer engagement and nature-based project demonstration.

You’ll be leading a small but dynamic team involved with a wide range of projects, including the groundbreaking Bristol Avon Catchment Market, NEIRF, a developing land advice service and support for farmers with private finance opportunities and delivery of a range of specialist ecological services including species recovery projects. • Support the development of existing projects within the team including natural capital markets, farmer engagement and species recovery projects.

Job purpose:

To assist with the day-to-day processing, reporting, oversight and management of a diverse range of incoming complaints and whistleblowing disclosures and appropriate escalation of complaints requiring escalation to relevant Area Leads.

Fundraising lead (fixed term 12-month contract, 0.4 FTE i.e. 14 hours a week)

JustMoney Movement is seeking a part-time Fundraising lead to help us grow a more sustainable funding base. The role will work with senior staff to develop our strategic case for support to target small organisational/ institutional donors (£1-5k grants/ donations).

We are a Christian charity using education and advocacy to work towards our vision of a fairer, greener future, through the transformation of our financial system and wider economy. We want to grow and diversify our funding base, reducing our dependence on a small number of grants, and building a movement of allies who feel part of the community and are willing to financially support it.

The Fundraising lead will work with senior staff to develop a case for support for our overall strategy and use this to target small organisational/ institutional donors including small trusts; corporates and organisations; and churches. 

Role description

· Grade 3.1 expected FTE salary £35,700 pro-rated to 0.4 FTE/ 14 hours a week = £14,280 (subject to annual inflationary pay review).

· Fixed term 12-month contract. This post has funding for 1 year.  If successful, there could be scope to extend the role for longer.

· Remote based: this role will be based from home, with occasional travel to meetings in London or elsewhere in the UK, for which expenses will be payable. This role is equivalent to 2 days a week but hours can be worked flexibly through the week.

Role Requirements

· Develop and deliver JustMoney Movement’s core fundraising strategy for small organisational/ institutional donors (donations/ grants of between £1-5k) targeting small trusts, organisations, corporates and churches.

Client involvement is at the heart of everything we do. You will be responsible for developing and enhancing our involvement with clients and the communities we work alongside, to give them influence, a voice and control in how we provide our services across the organisation.

We are also just as passionate about our volunteers. Part of this role will develop and enhance our work with volunteers, peer mentoring and student placements to maximise the impact of volunteering across our services, enhancing the support we deliver.

Hours: Between 22.5 and 37.5 hours per week. This post requires a minimum 30% of the time face to face.

Salary: £42,322 - £47,949 per annum (pro rata for part time), dependent on experience

The Role

We now have an exciting new role for a Networks for Nature (NFN) Project Manager. This role is part of the Networks for Nature project team.

Networks for Nature spans c60 square miles from the River Dee to the River Mersey, including Chester and Ellesmere Port. This is a collaborative partnership project working with Cheshire West and Chester Council, The Land Trust, Cheshire Wildlife Trust, Canal and River Trust, and Sustrans with the aim to drive nature recovery in a mixed-use landscape, creating diverse habitats for species to thrive now and for years to come. We will empower communities to have an active role in conservation action and stewardship and will focus on making nature more accessible to and inclusive for everyone to enable connection and improve wellbeing. The NFN Project Manager will be responsible for leading the project delivery team, maintaining good communication with and consulting with the project partners, ensuring adherence to and delivery against the project activity and action plan, record keeping and reporting to project governance bodies and multiple project funders.

The NFN Project Manager will be accountable to the internal Chester Zoo Project Board and a Steering Group comprised of project partners, who have oversight of the project. The NFN Project Manager will track and monitor project budget (c.£5million) and ensure that all spending is in line with the agreed budget. The NFN Project Manager will be supported in these tasks by the Senior Community Participation and Engagement Manager and will line manage a Project Administrator who will help with the day-to-day administration of the project.

We’re looking for someone who can:

• Matrix manage the project delivery team to ensure adherence to and delivery of the project activity plan throughout the delivery phase.
• Influence project partners to ensure that planned conservation action and engagement activities are taking place according to timescale and budget detailed in NFN project activity plan.
• Provide regular reports to Project Board, and the Project Steering Group, ensuring that internal and external stakeholders are kept appraised of project progress and any areas of risk.
• Work with the Trusts and Foundations Manager to manage relationships with National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) and other funders for the project. Lead on reporting to the NLHF, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements to ensure successful drawdown of the c.£4million grant.
• Manage the allocated budget for the delivery phase c.£5million working within the agreed budget and proactively seeking approvals and reporting variances to the Senior Community Participation and Engagement Manager, Director of Conservation Education and Project Board as needed.
• Work with Chester Zoo Science Department and external contractors to evaluate the impact of the project, including gathering evidence and case studies.
• Advocate for the project at internal and external forums, conferences and networks, ensuring widespread community, conservation sector and stakeholder buy-in to Networks for Nature.
• Ensure that all project activities are safe and appropriately risk assessed, liaising with specialist staff and Health and Safety Advisors as appropriate. Ensure all project activities are compliant with all legislation and best practice guidance, including safeguarding, Construction and Design Management, GDPR, Health and Safety and Copyright.

Our Requirements

• An understanding & affinity to the organisation’s mission, vision & values, with a strong interest in the conservation of UK nature and in community-based conservation work.
• Substantial experience planning, leading and managing large-scale, multi-year projects with demonstrable project management skills and knowledge, experience of working collaboratively with project partners, matrix managing project teams and tracking project progress, ideally in a conservation, community engagement and/or education environment.
• Experience leading partnership management, facilitating meetings and coordinating events to ensure partners and key stakeholders are well informed and engaged.
• Experience of managing and influencing the work of others, with and without authority. The post holder may reasonably be required to direct activity to achieve the project’s goals across multiple internal teams, volunteer groups and external partner organisations.
• Good working knowledge of the protection and restoration of nature – ideally within the context of terrestrial UK habitats and species.
• Understanding of community work and insight into the challenges and benefits of working with community groups, schools and the general public to achieve conservation goals.
• Attention to detail and critical thinking skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, demonstrated through a wide range of experience presenting to different audiences, in meetings and at events, and experience of report writing.
• IT skills: Skilled in the use of all key Microsoft packages.
• Organisational skills: Excellent time management, administration and planning skills. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, meeting deadlines and ensuring appropriate quality control.
• Interpersonal skills: Excellent diplomacy and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under own initiative and as part of a team, to work under pressure with positive attitude and also to enthuse and engage others. The role requires the post holder to work extensively across different departments and with external colleagues.

Although not essential, the following would be desirable:

You will work closely with the Projects Director and Trustees to help shape the strategic direction of TMF and support its long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

·Undertake some basic research (survey, FGDs) to support funding applications, enabling a case for this to be built in a convincing way.

- Champion TMF’s mission with funders, businesses, universities, schools and the media to raise awareness and increase engagement.

· Secure new partnerships with organisations aligned to our values and goals.

· Maintain strong, supportive relationships with secondary schools to help recruit mentees and grow programme reach.

· Contribute to funding applications, impact reports and relationship management with sponsors and supporters.

· Represent TMF at meetings, events, and conferences as our external voice.

· Develop and manage TMF’s social media and digital communications strategically. Use platforms that our target audience engages with to share our mission, celebrate successes, and build visibility. Create momentum through engagement with schools, funders, businesses, and partner organizations.

· Deliver engaging presentations in schools to recruit mentees and raise awareness of the programme.

· Liaise with industry, businesses, universities and other partners to secure funding, develop partnerships, and create work experience opportunities for mentees.

· Produce a monthly highlight report for the Board of Trustees, summarising key activities, progress, relationships, and emerging opportunities.

· Contribute to strategic planning, programme evaluation, and updates to policies and documentation.

· Maintain accurate records of stakeholder engagement and communications.

· Uphold safeguarding, child protection, and equality duties as an integral part of the role.
