Summary

WE ARE LOOKING TO RECUIT A EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT FOR THE BISHOP OF TAUNTON
What you'll be doing
The Bishop of Taunton is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the Bishop. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent administrative skills and the ability to anticipate requirements and act with initiative. As we welcome the new Bishop of Taunton to Bath and Wells, you will be instrumental in setting up their office space and supporting them as the settle into their new role. We are seeking someone who can solve problems proactively, creatively and maintain smooth operations in a fast-paced environment with strong organisational skills, discretion, communication ability, and proficiency with technology.
Role and Responsibilities
  • Diary and meeting planning and management
  • Manage correspondence correspondence including triaging of emails and letters and drafting responses or responding appropriately on behalf of the Bishop.
  • Oversight and support of clergy HR processes including
  • Office Management
  • Finance
Key role requirements
  • Flexibility to work at the Bishop's Office when required.
  • Occasional hybrid working will be considered.
  • 35 hours per week hours exclusive of an hour unpaid lunch break, to be taken at a time agreed with the Bishop, but some flexibility will be required from time to time.
  • Based onsite at Flourish House, Cathedral Park, Wells, Somerset BA5 1FD

  • A salary of £30,307 per annum, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of your salary.
