Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, the PTN is recruiting a Partnerships Manager who will provide management and oversight of key partnerships essential to the delivery of the Network’s Strategic Plan, with a specific focus on the development and delivery of Regional Hubs.

You will have experience of establishing and delivering partnerships; dedicated to social justice; a commitment to collaborative working; and proven management experience.

Key Tasks

• To form part of the Core Leadership Team, providing overall strategic leadership across the Network 
• To manage the Partnership team, setting clear goals and objectives linked to the Strategic Plan 
• To lead on the development and support of Regional Hubs, including support with grant funding and income generation
• To act as the primary point of contact with Regional Hubs, for initial enquiries and ongoing relationships, including with staff and trustees
• To provide oversight of the Network’s Parliamentary work in Westminster and across the devolved administrations
• To oversee the Network’s Learning & Evaluation framework, offering insight and advice as appropriate, ensuring that agreed activities are delivered on time and in budget

The Individual Giving Manager is responsible for creating, developing and delivering a fundraising plan to grow existing and new support for Winston’s Wish across our online and offline channels. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy

• Lead on the development and implementation of our Individual Giving strategy, supported by the Head of Mass Participation and the Director of Fundraising & Marketing.
• Ensure all opportunities and future plans are in line with Winston’s Wish’s over-arching fundraising strategy to meet financial targets, organisational objectives and KPIs.
• Maintain an awareness of philanthropy trends, news, events and legislation in the UK to ensure that Winston’s Wish remains up to date on key changes which are likely to impact on individual giving.

Generating Individual Giving Income

• Lead on and deliver a plan to increase individual giving income from streams including, but not exclusive to, direct mail, regular giving, legacies, in-mem and our charity lottery
• Effective use of KPIs to ensure decisions are driven by evidence and real-time data.
• Continuously analyse our income and supporter data to measure effectiveness of activities and return on investment.
• Work alongside our design agencies and in-house marketing team to develop and manage direct mail campaigns, including segmentation to ensure campaigns will be carefully targeted and designed to maximise income.
• Explore and test new methods for donor recruitment and increasing donations.
• Seek every opportunity to increase awareness of legacy giving to Winston’s Wish and monitor the effectiveness of these activities over time.
• Manage a growing portfolio of legacy enquirers with appropriate contact and timely solicitation of prospective legators including hosting events and tailored stewardship.
• Manage the stewardship and development of our regular giving programme including uplift campaigns and solicitation of new donors to agreed targets.
• Work alongside the wider fundraising team to ensure effective cross-selling of individual giving products and vice-versa identify opportunities to introduce other fundraising products to our individual givers.

Administration

• Diligently maintain records of all interactions with supporters on Salesforce.
• Ensure all activities comply with appropriate legal, regulatory and fundraising good practice and with Winston’s Wish policies and standards.
• Keep a close eye on incoming donations to ensure they are coded correctly and that supporter data is accurately recorded in accordance with GDPR.
• Effective management and control of expenditure across all projects and campaigns in line with agreed expenditure budgets.

This role is to manage and maintain high levels of service delivery. You will directly oversee coordinators. You will work with those Coordinators to ensure that; contractual KPI's are met, service users are supported effectively, staff are developed, and internal processes and procedures are followed to a high standard. The NE Service Manager will be the main point of contact for regional events and responsibilities. Where required, you will also play a role in implementing service and system improvements.

Responsibilities:

Service Management

• Oversight, line management coaching and support of Coordinators including effective supervisions and annual appraisals.

• Ensure all Service Users are being supported effectively and assist Coordinators with problem-solving and managing incidents, safeguarding issues, and complex cases.

• Ensure all staff are supported and managed effectively by their Coordinators, this includes leave, performance, wellbeing, and training.

• Communicate with the Salvation Army Modern Slavery team where necessary.

• Regular visits to all accommodation sites

• Organise and run the on-call rota for the service.

We are looking for an Engagement Manager (East of England) to join us on a fixed term contract, for 12-months, to cover maternity leave.

About the role

The key purpose of the Engagement Manager role is to deliver regional Sight Loss Councils across the East of England and to engage with blind and partially sighted people across the region.  We currently have two Sight Loss Councils (SLCs) in this region, so the postholder will be expected to care-take and develop both SLCs, focusing on the retention of the volunteers engaged and making sure the projects and work they are involved in, continue with success. You will also be managing and developing stakeholder relationships across all the areas in which we work including transport and health sectors, as well with local authorities and arts and culture venues in the region.

You will have the passion and ability to use your lived experience or experience to influence change, for the benefit of blind and partially sighted people. As an experienced volunteer manager, you will engage and lead Sight Loss Council members in the implementation of the region’s business plans to bring about change across transport, health and the built environment, as well as areas of local interest such as arts and culture or retail.

You will be a self-starter and work well on your own but will also enjoy being a part of a team of other Engagement Managers across the country, with whom you can learn from, as well as share good practice with.

We're looking for an inspiring Regional Manager (Known internally as Divisional Business Manager) to play a leading role as part of the Senior Leadership Team contributing to and influencing decision making beyond the division and Trading. You will successfully develop the CRUK retail business both strategically and operationally in order to achieve income and profit targets, delivering through the Divisional Management team. You will drive performance against multiple income streams including fundraising, and will achieve this by influencing and motivating 8/9 Area Managers looking after 170+ shops with a field-based infrastructure of approx. 600 employees and 3,500 retail volunteers.

What will I be doing?

• Making key decisions that influence the commercial performance of the division

• Working with both internal business partners and external partners to increase division performance

• Ensuring retail operational objectives are delivered to the highest standard

• Developing and delivering budgets

• Monitoring and evaluating area and divisional performance against key performance indicators

• Developing divisional stock management strategy to maximise income, operating efficiencies and maintain statutory H&S standards.

• Driving a culture that embraces change, open communication, ambition, innovation, future-thinking and outward looking.

• To monitor talent, drive high performance of the divisional team

What are we looking for?

• An experienced leader who has managed geographically diverse teams and has excellent commercial acumen

• Significant experience of managing budgets

• Can demonstrate positive performance results

• Experience of working in a large and complex organisation

• Experience in commercial or charity retail with an understanding of management of multi-site retail shops at a national or regional level

• Experience of initiating and implementing change, receptive to new ideas and able to participate fully in developing business plans and strategy

The Marketing and Communications Manager role is at the heart of driving the charity's mission by increasing public knowledge and engagement and therefore boosting the charity's income. You will be responsible for developing, planning, and delivering marketing campaigns to reach target audiences, and most importantly advocating for people living with cancer, ensuring their voices are heard and they get the right treatment and support, at the right time.

Working in partnership with the Brand, Marketing, and Communications team, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing marketing campaigns aimed at reaching key target audiences. You will be a creative thinker and confident communicator with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build strong, and long-lasting working relationships. This temporary opportunity requires someone with proven experience of delivering marketing campaigns and who is highly adaptable and keen to achieve successful meaningful outcomes.

Key duties:

• Evaluate incoming briefs weekly, directing the appropriate teams to efficiently handle upcoming activities
• Manage monthly planning meetings, identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and promote collaboration across charity
• Analyse customer insights, trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to develop successful marketing strategies, plans, and integrated evaluations
• Lead audience-focused, integrated campaigns across paid, earned, owned, and shared channels
• Provide advice and expertise to other teams on brand usage and integrated marketing activities
• Actively develop and embed new ways of working, establish relationships with other teams, and collaborate with the Head of Strategic Communications and Brand to enhance the profile and understanding of marketing across the charity

• Planning, implementing, and evaluating strategic communications, brand, and marketing strategies and integrated campaigns

We are pleased to offer a starting salary at the beginning point of the salary band. This position offers opportunities for salary increases based on performance and tenure. 

Hours: 37.5 hours per week; 5 days a week with flexible working hours and provision of an out-of-hours response as needed.

Travel: You will be required to travel when the requires it.

About the role:

The Team Leader will lead on the delivery of the Triage Model in their pilot area/s, providing support, case management and supervision for the Triage Worker and IDVA roles. They will act as the first point of contact assessing the suitability of initial referrals to be allocated to a Triage Worker for a full assessment. The Team Leader will support the Service Manager and Practice and Development Lead in developing multi agency relationships for the successful implementation of the model and will take a lead role in maintaining these relationships locally to ensure operational success when undertaking assessments to try and ensure the right recommendations for positive requirements are made but also to support the ongoing development of a national delivery model and to support the evaluation of the pilot.

About you:

• At least 3 years’ experience of working on complex cases in a multi-agency environment and working with other professionals/agency to manage risk and safeguard vulnerable adults and children
• An understanding of the root causes of domestic abuse on both an individual and societal level
• Experience of working in a partnership with other organisations and managing the challenges that may arise
• Knowledge of safe and effective interventions with perpetrators of domestic abuse across different risk and needs groups
• To manage a complex workload, across multiple geographic regions, and effectively meet reporting deadlines and the needs of a wide range of stakeholders.
• A commitment to anti-discriminatory practice and an approach that centres survivors.
