The role is remote and 3 days a week  but with monthly team meetings in London and this role will require travel to partner meetings and events.

About the role 

We're looking for a proactive, organised and relationship-focused Partnership Officer to join our growing Brand & Corporate Partnerships team. 

Working closely with and supported by the Head of Brand & Corporate Partnerships, you will play a vital role in identifying and securing new brand partnerships, nurturing existing relationships, and helping to deliver ambitious income and impact targets. 

Our partners range from emerging challenger brands to nationally recognised businesses like Boots UK. They support our work through financial contributions, product donations, employee fundraising, volunteering, awareness campaigns and skills-based support. 

You'll be at the heart of these relationships, helping partners understand the difference they can make and ensuring they have an outstanding experience of supporting The Hygiene Bank. 

This role would suit someone with experience in partnerships, business development, fundraising, account management or sales who is excited by the prospect of combining commercial relationship-building with meaningful social impact. 

Job Description  

The Partnership Officer will be a key member of The Hygiene Bank’s income generation team and wider central team, with a responsibility to help meet the needs of our existing partnerships and support in fulfilling the charity’s income generation plans and strategy. 

Key Responsibilities 

You will support the management of our brand partners, working with the Head of Brand and Corporate Partnerships. Your role will be to source new brand relationships, set up meetings for the team and support existing brand partnerships. 

• Work closely with the Head of Brand and Corporate Partnerships to identify and outreach to target brand partners, working to engage their support for the charity

• Account management of new and existing partners 

• Meticulous record keeping, ensuring the pipeline and the opportunity database are current and up to date.

• Contribute to the organisation and team's annual plans, strategies, and budgets. 

• Develop, monitor, and maintain systems and processes including Salesforce and account management plans. 

• Assist with the creation of marketing materials, such as newsletters, brochures, and partner impact reports.

The Academy of Medical Sciences is seeking a Finance Officer to be responsible for ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded on a timely basis for the Charity and its trading subsidiary, using the Academy’s finance system, and related databases.

As Finance Officer, you will provide accurate and timely information to enquiries from a range of stakeholders, including - but not restricted to - staff, fellows and external suppliers.

The responsibilities of the post include:

Accounting on Finance System:

• Maintain the accounting records (purchase, sales and nominal ledgers) of AMS and AMSTL on the finance system (Iplicit) and assist with the reconciliation of control accounts and production of the monthly trial balance.
• Prepare monthly standard journals (accruals and prepayments) to produce the trial balance and work with the Financial Accountant to provide other period end journals as required.

Purchase ledger:

• Maintain the purchase ledgers of AMS and AMSTL by inputting purchase invoices and expense claims by onto Iplicit and processing payments by BACS (Lloyds Commercial).
• Assist staff with queries about expenses and purchase invoices.
• Ensure that authorisation limits are followed via purchase orders and maintain purchase order log.

Sales ledger:

• Prepare sales invoices for the Academy as necessary under terms of funding arrangements, liaising with relevant teams.
• Monitor and maintain fellowship records, ensuring subscription fees are invoiced and timely and deal promptly with any fellowship finance queries.
• Monitor and ensure all income and donations are correctly reflected on Iplicit and CRM system and that information is shared with the relevant departments.
• Liaise with the contract caterers Searcys on a regular basis to confirm sales on trading company, assisting with queries where needed.
• Upload sales information from the conference database Rendezvous to the finance system and reconcile monthly.
• Monitor receipts against invoices and assist with credit control to minimise the amounts owed by debtors to AMS and AMSTL.
• Support the FORUM staff group regarding invoicing and provision of information regarding receipts and credit control.

Cash management:

• Prepare banking details and bank any income received at the Academy offices on a regular basis.
• Post AMS and AMSTL bank receipts and payments onto Iplicit, preparing bank reconciliations in the finance system.
• Assist the Financial Controller with cash management, including looking at ways to improve the integration of the finance system with the online banking platform to increase automation of bank transactions.

Management accounts and year end:

• Assist with the preparation of monthly budget holder reports and help with queries about variances.
• Assist in preparation of year end accounts and work with the Financial Controller in producing documentation for audit.
• Ensure that all transactions are entered onto with the correct VAT code and assist the Financial Controller in the preparation and submission of VAT returns for the Academy.

Other:

• Provide cover for other Finance Officer
• Support staff who are running meetings and events by providing information on expenditure and income, preparing sales invoices, and assisting with credit control.
• Support the Head of Finance in the continued optimisation of Iplicit.
• Other tasks within the level of the role, and as requested by the Financial Controller, including support of work for the annual audit.

This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up and see the direct impact of your work on people experiencing homelessness across London. As our first Philanthropy and Major Gifts Officer, you will work closely with the Assistant Director of Fundraising to bring our new strategy to life, shaping how we engage major donors and grow a powerful community of supporters who are motivated to stand alongside Single Homeless Project (SHP) and our clients. Role purpose

The Head of Finance is a key member of the Charity’s senior management team, working closely with the chief executive, directors, and trustees. The head of finance will lead the day-to-day financial operations of the Charity, including budgeting, reporting, audit, payroll, and pensions. The Executive Assistant to the CEO role involves:

• Coordinating and maintaining the CEO's diary including organising all appointments, meetings and travel arrangements.
• Identifying, anticipating and preparing CEO information requirements for meetings, appointments and presentations, following up on internal and external requests for information.

Role Requirements

Website management

• Support the day-to-day running of the charity’s websites, managing updates from across the organisation and ensuring continuous improvement and development of content, layout and structure.
• Support the Digital Manager to work with teams across the charity to ensure all website content is fresh, up-to-date and in line with our key messages, style and tone of voice.
• Support Digital Manager with ensuring websites are compliant, secure, accessible, user-friendly and aligned to brand, communications and organisational objectives.
• Produce content that complies with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1 – Level AA) and help promote web accessibility throughout the Organisation.
• Build and maintain online forms, e.g. donations, event entries and data capture.

Campaigns and email marketing

• Assist the Digital Manager and Senior Marketing Manager with paid digital activity on small scale campaigns, covering areas such as paid social and Google ads or search campaigns and boosted posts.
• Contribute to marketing and communications plans for campaigns and projects.

• Support with the creation and management of email communications using DotDigital.

Donor Experience Officer - Fundraising

We're looking for a Donor Experience Officer to play a vital role within Acorns Children's Hospice's Fundraising team. As one of the first points of contact for our supporters, you'll help ensure every donation, enquiry and interaction receives a professional, personal and timely response.

Hours of work:

The Finance Director is part of the HOST Leadership Team and would have line management responsibility for three Finance Managers within the Finance team.

• Oversee HOST’s financial management, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and relevant regulatory requirements. 

• Develop and monitor budgets for both HOST operations and hosted projects. 

• Provide regular financial reporting to the Leadership Team and Board.

Individual Giving Officer 

Working Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with some evenings and weekend work

The Role

Our Individual Giving programme is central to our fundraising strategy to increase our unrestricted, sustainable income. This is a key role in supporting the Individual Giving Manager to recruit and steward donors across a range of channels including face-to-face, telemarketing, direct mail and digital. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple programmes including regular giving, lottery, cash appeals, in-memory and legacy, as well as to play a key role in our matched funding Christmas campaign. This role will help to meet or exceed our annual targets which will help us provide the best care for patients, staff and loved ones at our hospitals. 

Key Tasks 

• Help to co-ordinate our match funded Christmas Campaign 
• Using evidence-based insights, support with the planning and implementation of several integrated direct marketing campaigns across a range of channels including direct mail, email, social, display advertising and newsletters including managing suppliers on concept creation, oversight of copy and creative and delivery schedules. Work with the IG Manager on performance analysis and learnings to enable enhancements and improvements  
• Support the IG Manager in the set up and operational management of our face-to-face fundraising campaigns for regular donor and lottery player recruitment. Including invoice processing, complaint handling, site management and training for third party fundraising teams  
• Work with the other IG Officer to optimise and improve our regular giving and lottery stewardship journeys. This will include researching and proofing content, engaging with supporters and looking for opportunities to cross-sell 
• Being proactive in writing up process documents and maintaining documents for Individual Giving Team  
• Day-to-day point of contact with external agencies including face-to-face agencies, creative agencies, printers and fulfilment houses  
• To support the Head of Supporter Engagement with the development of a legacy marketing programme 
• Support with the stewardship of our in-memory donors, including donors who set up tribute pages on MuchLoved 
• Work with hospital staff and stakeholders to gather content, encourage fundraising and manage our contactless stations  
• Work with our Supporter Services Team to monitor and action all feedback, speaking with supporters over the phone and via email, and properly recording supporter interactions on our database

• You have a general duty of care for the health safety and well-being of yourself, work colleagues’ visitors and patients within the hospital site in addition to any specific risk management responsibilities associated with this post  
• You must maintain strict confidentiality of personal information relating to patients, donors, Trustees and staff and maintain the confidentiality and security of all charity data and records  
• You are responsible for complying with the Charity’s policies and procedures  
• You are responsible, with management support, for your personal development and should actively contribute to the development of colleagues and staff

It is the nature of the work in a small charity team that tasks and responsibilities are diverse and varied. All staff are expected to work in a flexible way and on occasion to undertake tasks that may not be specifically covered in their job description or are outside of office hours. • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail (Essential)

•  Ability to prioritise work and be proactive when working on multiple campaigns (Essential) 
•  Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills (Essential) 
•  Experience in one or more of the areas of fundraising listed (Desirable) 
•  Prior experience of stewarding donors and handling enquiries/complaints (Desirable) 
•  Experience of working with third-party agencies to deliver fundraising activities  (Desirable)  
•  Previous experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Database (Desirable)
