We are looking for a freelance Finance Officer to support the financial management of Everyone’s Invited. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, reliable, and comfortable managing the day-to-day finances of a small charity. Working closely with the leadership team, the Finance Officer will ensure that financial records are accurate, payments are processed efficiently, and key financial processes run smoothly. About the Role
The Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) is an independent philanthropic organisation, working with a range of partners to transform the lives of children and adolescents. CIFF’s portfolio focuses on child health and development, climate change, sexual and reproductive health and rights, girl capital and child protection. CIFF has been partnering with MSI since 2015 to boost sexual and reproductive health and rights globally. The Challenge Fund Programme (2024-2028) is a $100m programme with global and bilateral investments from CIFF to advance sexual and reproductive health services and increase modern contraceptive prevalence in six countries across West and Central Africa.
MSI seeks a Global Programmes and Philanthropy (GPP) Adviser to support the implementation of the CIFF Challenge Fund Programme. Working in the Challenge Fund programme team and directly reporting to Head of Challenge Fund, the GPP Adviser will provide programme management and administrative support to the Head of and two Programme Managers across the Challenge Fund Programme to ensure timely and quality delivery of deliverables against donor reporting obligations and close budget monitoring. In addition, this role will play a key role in the coordination of overarching internal ways of working, including the organisation of external donor engagement meetings and events. Background
Breaking barriers is delivering a Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) funded programme to provide employment support to participants in the Refugee Welcome Programme (RWP) across Greater Manchester.
Overall purpose
The main purpose of this role is to support asylum seeking and refugee clients as part of a new statutory contract. You will work closely with the Client Services Manager to support clients to progress into relevant opportunities and signpost to appropriate services.
In summary this role will be responsible for:
· Managing a caseload of clients referred through the programme, supporting RWP clients into employment across GMCA boroughs.
· Supporting the Client Services Manager with data collection and reporting, within Breaking Barriers and across all delivery partners
· Conducting outreach to referral partners’ venues, providing introduction and information about the programme to engage potential participants.
· Managing monthly network meeting for referral partners, taking the lead on providing updates and discussing any emerging issues with referral partners.
· Delivery of in-person group sessions with partner organisations at community locations e.g. hotels

Role Requirements
· Develop and maintain an effective clinical governance framework that supports safe and high-quality care.
· Facilitate regular clinical governance meetings to discuss performance, incidents, and quality improvement initiatives.
· Ensure that clinical pathways and practices are aligned with best practice guidelines and evidence-based standards.
· Lead initiatives to enhance patient safety across all services, promoting a culture of transparency and reporting.
· Implement and maintain the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF), ensuring that learning from incidents is captured and shared.
· Monitor and report on patient safety metrics, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring appropriate action plans are developed.
· Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and experiences.
· Lead quality impact assessments for new initiatives or changes in practice, evaluating potential risks and benefits and manage the organisational governance in relation to these.
· Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines, including CQC regulations and national safety frameworks.
· Maintain an up-to-date understanding of regulatory changes and ensure organisational policies and practices reflect these updates.
With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail.
