Job Summary

The Area Giving and Finance Advisor provides comprehensive finance support to churches within the Kensington Area, aiding them in the development of their ministries, manage Common Fund giving and to support the Area Bishop’s staff team in the management of resources including monitoring clergy post numbers, curate funding, and other financial matters. As part of a small team of Area Giving and Finance Advisers, the role involves offering training, resources, and advice on parish financial management and administration, and advice on various giving methods, including online and contactless options. About the Role

The Refugee and Migrant Centre is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Support Worker to join our Resettlement Department. As part of our mission to assist refugees and migrants in overcoming barriers to integration, this role will play a key part in helping newly arrived refugees settle into their new communities with confidence and independence.

RMC is a well-established charity with over 25 years of experience working with vulnerable refugees and migrants. We provide a range of services, including immigration advice, housing support, welfare assistance, and employment guidance. Our work ensures that refugees and migrants receive the necessary support to become equal citizens in the UK.

Purpose of the Role

The Family Support Worker will support newly arrived refugees and their families, enabling them to navigate the complex challenges of settling into the UK. Working closely with our multi-skilled resettlement team, you will deliver holistic support to refugees across a range of services, including welfare benefits, housing, health, education, and employment. You will also play a key role in empowering families to build their confidence, independence, and long-term integration into the community.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Client Support & Case Management:

• Manage a caseload of newly arrived refugee families, providing tailored support to meet their specific needs.
• Conduct home visits and orientation sessions to welcome clients to their new community and complete holistic needs assessments.
• Develop Personal Integration Plans for each household on a quarterly basis, helping them set goals for long-term independence.
• Coordinate support with external agencies and specialists to address clients’ needs, ensuring seamless service delivery.
• Support families with housing, welfare benefits, education, healthcare, and employment.
• Assist with registration for healthcare services (GPs, dentists, opticians) and support with medical assessments.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Head of Communications and Networks will amplify The Politics Project’s voice, build strategic partnerships and strengthen collaboration across the youth, education and democracy sectors. You will lead on communications, stakeholder engagement and the continued development of the Democracy Classroom Network.

You will oversee a team responsible for communications, partnerships and events, providing leadership and guidance to ensure clear messaging, impactful storytelling and strong, coordinated engagement across the sector. We are looking for someone warm, approachable, and sensitive to the diverse needs of families.

You will need to feel confident encouraging parent-child interaction through guided activities and discussions and creating a positive, supportive environment that empowers parents to engage in reading at home. About the Role

As Young People Support Worker you will work as part of a team delivering an assessment, support and move on service to vulnerable clients in supported accommodation. You will have a caseload of 5 clients aged 18-25, in a supported accommodation in Twickenham.

You will mostly lone work, with the Service Manager and Senior Progression Coach working from the office once a week each on average.

You may be required to work from our offices with the rest of the team in Lambeth/Croydon once a month as the business need arises or for training.

Key responsibilities:

· Ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients at all times, following safeguarding and emergency procedures as required.

· Hold a caseload as key worker, taking joint responsibility with the team for day-to-day client support.

· Lead on risk and needs assessments, develop SMART outcomes-based support plans, and review regularly.

· Deliver one-to-one and group support to build resilience and independence, both on site and in the community.

· Work in partnership with external agencies and involve clients in decision-making and community activities.

What is the role?

As the Schools & Community Fundraiser, you will be working as part of the Fundraising Team to meet organisational income targets. You will have responsibility for the co-ordination, organisation, and evaluation of existing schools fundraising events within agreed levels of income & expenditure.

You will be expected to foster and grow our links with educational establishments, the wider community across Lanarkshire and 3rd party supporters. Home-Start Portsmouth (HSP) supports parents from pregnancy onwards, recognising the vital role they play in their children's lives. We aim to build a compassionate community that surrounds families, parents, and children with care - because childhood can’t wait. Our expert staff and trained volunteers provide child-focused family support to help Portsmouth families thrive. 

Antenatal Results and Choices (ARC) are a UK-wide charity offering impartial information and specialist support to parents undergoing antenatal testing. ARC also partners with healthcare professionals to promote high-quality, equitable care. 

We are recruiting an ARC Project Coordinator, who will lead a project aimed at improving pregnancy aspirations and readiness in communities, particularly those less likely to engage with maternity services. The project will focus on healthy conversations, accessible and accurate information, and equitable access to interventions, helping reduce inequalities and support informed pregnancy choices. 

The coordinator will also be responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising a small team of volunteers who will help deliver some parts of the project. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities  

1. Project Delivery: 

• Lead, manage, and ensure the high-quality delivery of the ARC Project 

• Facilitate informed decision-making in pregnancy by working in partnership with ARC, our funder 

• Engage with parents less likely to access antenatal screening, offering information and support to help them understand and access available options 

• Provide education and signposting to both parents and health professionals about available support 

• Deliver person-centred relational support using evidence-based interventions and approaches 

• Normalise conversations about antenatal screening through a variety of services, including; clinics, participation in HSP’s prenatal offer, community groups, and partnerships with health services and the wider workforce 

1. Stakeholder Engagement: 

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key individuals within HIOW Healthcare NHS Trust and Portsmouth City Council 

• To work as part of an integrated approach across the Family Hub Programme delivery, including maternity services 

• Work in partnership with Family Hub Champions, Family Nurse Partnership, Families in Mind, Midwifery services and other voluntary sector partners as part of the wider Family Hub Programme workforce
