The Information and Content Officer will be responsible for supporting the development, maintenance, and promotion of a comprehensive range of high-quality information resources for sarcoma patients, their families/carers, healthcare professionals, and the general public. This includes creating new content as well as reviewing and updating existing materials across various formats such as print publications, digital platforms, videos, and social media.

The role involves close collaboration with healthcare professionals, patient reviewers, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure both accurate and accessible content.

Duties and key responsibilities: 

Content development:

• Work with the Information and Content Manager to research, write, edit and produce new information materials including print publications, web pages, videos, etc.
• Work in line with Sarcoma UK’s information production process, including:
  • Liaise with clinical experts and patient reviewers throughout the content development process
  • Maintain formal systems within the information production process in line with the PIF tick quality mark
• Ensure all new content meets clinical standards, brand guidelines, plain English principles, and accessibility requirements.

Content updates & maintenance: 

• Continuously review and update existing print and digital information resources to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain a structured review schedule to keep materials current as per the PIF quality mark.
• Manage a comprehensive database to track all information resources and versions.

Content promotion & distribution:

• Work with colleagues to create promotional content for Sarcoma UK's information resources across multiple channels.
• Utilise social media platforms to extend reach and engagement with target audiences.
• Collaborate with internal communications and digital teams on content publishing and marketing.

Administration & reporting:

• Collect metrics and provide regular reports on content performance, user engagement and feedback.
• Assist in developing evaluation methods to assess impact of information resources.

General:

• To support new work within the information team.
• Work closely with healthcare professionals, people affected by sarcoma, and staff members.
• To attend Sarcoma UK events and take part in Sarcoma UK’s wider work.

Background to School Food Matters

School Food Matters (SFM) exists to teach children about food and to improve children’s access to healthy, sustainable food during their time at school. We provide fully funded food education programmes to schools. Our experience delivering these programmes informs and strengthens our campaigns, bringing the voices of children, parents and teachers to government policy.

Healthy Zones programme

Healthy Zones supports primary, secondary and special schools to create a food environment that puts young people's health centre stage. We are working with schools to develop food policies and to improve the food served in their breakfast and after school clubs. The programme uses a whole school approach through hands-on engagement with students, staff, kitchen teams, governors and parents.

Job Purpose

· To promote, develop and deliver the Healthy Zones programme across schools in Southwark and Lambeth

· Support with the expansion of the Healthy Zones programme across other regions in England

Key Tasks include:

•  Recruit schools to take part in Healthy Zones
• Complete food audits in schools looking across the whole school day (training provided)
• Develop and deliver healthy after school club and breakfast club modules (convene working groups in schools, run simple food preparation engagement sessions (training provided), empower student voice, build relationships with the after-school club staff)
• Develop food policy improvements in schools in our six key areas by building relationships with staff, and engaging students, parents and governors
• Build relationships and work closely / maintain relationships with teachers, teaching assistants, cooks and senior leaders in primary and secondary schools in Lambeth and Southwark to improve the food they offer their students
• Build and support relationships with contacts in partner organisations/LAs, and deliver training where necessary
• Collecting data and maintaining accurate records relating to the programme in Airtable
• Work closely with our Evaluation Manager to complete all monitoring and evaluation

About the opportunity
As our Digital Marketing Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Marketing Manager and broader team in volunteer and school recruitment efforts, while managing our social media presence. Duties and responsibilities

We are looking for a dynamic and collaborative Membership Operations Team Leader who is passionate about membership operations and looking for a rewarding supervisory opportunity.

The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) is a membership organisation dedicated to supporting our members to improve the standard of medical practice across the fields of radiology and oncology. Members are the lifeblood of the RCR and we’re seeking a Membership Operations Team Leader that will ensure member’s interactions with us are seamless, easy and professional.

As the team lead you play a critical role in supporting the high-performing Operations team through day-to-day supervision to meet service-level agreements and deadlines. You’ll ensure the smooth functioning of our membership processes, act as the first point of contact for queries from the team and provide an excellent service to our members, doing your part to contribute to the overall success of the RCR.

What you’ll do:

• Coordinate and deliver the members’ annual renewal processes and manage communications channels and copy.
• Manage the member life cycle and regularly review operational processes, policies and practices, with oversight from the Membership Operations Manager.
• Supervise the Operations Team in line with goals and objectives agreed by the Operations Manager, providing motivation, coaching and direction on a day-to-day basis.
• Be the point of contact to assist and support members of the Operations Team in relation to member escalations and queries.
• Work closely with the Operations Manager to manage and plan current and future workload to ensure the team meets deadlines, provides an exceptional service and reaches service level agreements (SLAs).
• Develop comprehensive and presentable reports to support data-led decision making, renewals tracking, KPI targets or to provide insights.
• Management of budget lines assigned to operational activities to ensure favourable terms are achieved.

• Knowledge of membership systems and procedures.
• Experience of managing a high degree of administration processes efficiently.
• Knowledge and experience of using a database and managing data quality.
• Experience in prioritising, planning and managing various different tasks/workloads in order to achieve personal and team targets.

Purpose of the Role

The Digital Marketing Manager will implement and help develop a new digital marketing strategy, crucial to the ongoing development of ArtsEd’s profile and reputation and the successful delivery of all our programmes.

Understanding the needs of current and prospective students and pupils and their parents, and being able to identify digital plans and initiatives which will enable ArtsEd to meet both the long and short-term needs is a central aspect of the role.

The Digital Marketing Manager will lead in the planning and implementation of digitally creative and customer focused campaigns and will be responsible for the achievement of student and pupil recruitment targets. They will work closely with senior staff and the rest of the Marketing team to deliver highly effective experiences to all stakeholders and potential stakeholders.

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for the continuing development of ArtsEd’s online profile amongst all of our target audiences, including high-level industry connections, potential supporters and the local community, alongside potential students, pupils and parents.

In addition, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for ensuring that ArtsEd’s messaging is consistent, innovative and compelling across all platforms.

Digital Marketing

• Plan and execute digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising campaigns in collaboration with the wider marketing team.
• Use digital marketing expertise to create effective user funnels to optimise conversion rates, tracking user behaviour in order to refine processes.

• Collaborate closely with staff across the organisation to identify storytelling opportunities to ensure a full understanding of ArtsEd’s broad range of target audiences.

• Set up digital advertising campaigns through Meta, Google Ads and other platforms

• Utilise excellent graphic design skills to collaborate with the team on the design and delivery of different digital campaigns for all stakeholder groups. This will include mass e-mails, social media posts and digital collateral as required.
• Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels.
• Monitor social media communications (both comments on posts and direct messages) and respond in a timely and appropriate manner.

Design & Brand

• Be a guardian of the ArtsEd brand, ensuring correct and effective use of our branding and house style both internally and externally.
• Ensure all digital information is accurate, up to date and relevant.
• Ensure ArtsEd embraces and celebrates diversity and inclusion through all digital marketing touchpoints.
• Develop and manage image library including liaising with relevant staff to select images, co-ordinating in-house photography and film requirements, up-dating plasma screen and fulfilling external requests for images.
• Ensure all touchpoints communicate ArtsEd visual identity. Working with the wider Marketing team to review and implement ArtsEd brand architecture structure on digital platforms

Graphic Design

• Create print and digital advertising material using Canva or similar software.
• Design and create in-house digital signage and support the Marketing Officer where needed.
• Support the print production process, liaising with printers and publications, proof reading and adapting print collateral as required.

Recruitment

• Lead on the implementation and delivery of a robust digital marketing strategy to optimise student and pupil recruitment across the whole organisation. This will include:
• Building on existing digital activity to maximise its reach and impact against all of our target audiences, including digital and associated print advertising.
• Managing an associated  programme of recruitment focused events and activities, both virtual and face-to-face, to raise our profile and to maximise our enquires, registrations, applications and acceptances across all of our activities.
• Supporting the relevant teams in the delivery of this programme, which will include existing activity e.g. Day School and Sixth Form Open Days, degree audition days and our outreach programme.
• To programme our email marketing conversion communication using software Mailer Lite/MailChimp
• Overseeing the production of all marketing collateral.

Social Media

• Overseeing the planning and delivery of a social media plan that aligns with and enhances all strands of the marketing and communications strategy
• Create engaging and content drive social media assets.
• Oversee and a schedule the delivery of day-to-day social media content
• Work with the marketing officer to Launch as short form video content strategy for all platforms with aligns with the Marketing and organisations strategy.
• Be the expert in understanding movements regarding social networks ensuring ArtsEd has a presence and brand building content on the right platforms.
• To have responsibility for all digital advertising, including social paid adverts.

Website

• Manage through line managed staff all aspects of the ArtsEd website, ensuring that it remains relevant to all users at all times. This will include:-
• Ensuring factual content is kept up-to-date, imagery and video is regularly refreshed and that the overall site reflects ArtsEd’s unique offer.
• Identifying opportunities to create and update brand focused content
• SEO
• Analytics

Market Analysis/Planning

• Review and analysis of data to identify competitor tactics, market trends, new opportunities and challenges.
• Ability to understand different audiences and relevant content to ensure successful conversion rates and enhance the student and stakeholders experience.
• Explore  new methods for collection of data and how this can be used to improve recruitment processes
• Complete quarterly digital impact reports
• Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
• Implement regular surveys of students and staff, collecting quantitative and qualitative material to support marketing and communication campaigns.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
• Shape outcome based on data.

Events

• Work with team on the planning and delivery on a programme of events, including Auditions, Open Evenings and Open Events.

The Partnership Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow. You will have a clear ability to tailor the way we sell our services to potential clients.

You will lead and support others across the company to communicate our service offering to external stakeholders that will directly contribute to the company’s growth strategy and impact.

The Partnership Manager will also be a key member of the department and contribute to, departmental strategies, systems and maximising efficiency, and communicating our brand values and services that attracts a wide range of clients.

In this role, you will work closely with the Digital Communications and Marketing, Monitoring and Evaluation, Programme and Finance teams.

Essential Experience

• Have a minimum 5 years sales and client relationship experience

• Proven success in a similar role, with a track record of securing income through multi-year partnerships

• Strong relationship management skills, particularly within the education and/or corporate sector.

• Ability to manage a heavy and varied workload effectively and maintain high levels of both accuracy and output

• Ability to think strategically and identify new opportunities and initiatives to grow the business

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience of producing high quality written materials that are tailored to the needs of specific internal or external audiences.

• Experience managing a CRM system, sales systems flow and executing sales campaigns/funnels

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and working independently to find solutions to problems
