ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an Attendance and Wellbeing Practitioner to join the Harris Federation on a fixed-term basis from September 2026 to August 2029.
This role is part of an exciting project taking place in our Croydon secondary academies to improve school attendance by addressing barriers caused by poor mental health. The role involves working collaboratively with school attendance teams and external agencies to identify students at risk of persistent absence, using data-driven approaches and evidence-based interventions.
This role is term time only plus three weeks, and the actual salary will be £33,012-£35,000 (41 weeks per year, 37.5 hours per week).
Interviews will take place on 8th June 2026.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
By managing a caseload of students, delivering targeted one-to-one and group support, and working with parents, you will implement strategies that support attendance and wellbeing. You will also contribute to the research and evaluation of the project, in partnership with Maudsley Education Consulting Service (MECS), our partners in this work. Effective communication, safeguarding, and accurate record-keeping are integral to supporting students, families and schools in achieving positive outcomes.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We would like to hear from you if you have:
- A qualification in CYP mental health e.g. Child Wellbeing Practitioner, Education Welfare Practitioner, counsellor
- A degree, or equivalent qualification
- Knowledge of the range of barriers to learning that students face
- Training in child protection and safeguarding procedures
- Experience of working in an inner-city school or educational establishment in a pastoral capacity
- Experience of working with young people in a one to one and/or group capacity on a range of mental health issues
- Experience of working with families
- Experience of working with challenging students and parents, and finding ways in which we can meet their needs more successfully
- Full working knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practice
- Willing to contribute knowledge and experience to the Harris Home Academy Liaison Officers
- Understanding of principles of student development and learning processes
- Ability to advocate for CYP and their families to get support within school and with external agencies
- Ability to plan effective actions for pupils at risk of underachieving due to poor attendance

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Reporting to the Head of Financial Accounting, you will take ownership of producing accurate management and statutory accounts, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and charity sector requirements.
This is a varied and impactful role, where you will lead on month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns, and cash management, while also driving continuous improvement in financial systems and controls. Working closely with stakeholders, you’ll provide clear financial insight to support decision-making across the Federation.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We would like to hear from you if you have:
- An understanding of UK GAAP
- Experience with financial systems and ERP software (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Sage) along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions
- Ideally 2-3 years of post-graduation experience in an accounting role, preferably within a commercial environment
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (or equivalent) either in progress or recently obtained
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, with a strong academic record

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an Assistant Procurement Officer to provide dedicated administrative and operational support to the Procurement Team on a fixed-term basis, with a primary focus on the onboarding of new academies into the Trust.
You will work closely with the Head of Procurement to support procurement due diligence, data collection, and the structured integration of new academies into the Trust’s procurement arrangements, policies, frameworks and systems. The role will also provide proportionate general procurement support during the contract period.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing focused support to the procurement onboarding of new academies during the fixed term period, working directly with the Head of Procurement throughout each onboarding cycle.
- Assisting with procurement due diligence activity, including collecting, collating and maintaining information on:
- existing contracts and suppliers
- spend data and pricing arrangements
- expiry dates, break clauses and key risks
- Supporting the review, organisation and validation of legacy procurement documentation, ensuring records are complete, accurate and suitable for audit and internal assurance purposes
- Coordinating engagement with new academies, including arranging initial onboarding meetings, site visits and follow up actions linked to procurement integration
- Supporting the structured onboarding of new academies onto Trust procurement processes, policies, frameworks and systems, ensuring documentation and guidance is clearly prepared and shared
- Maintaining onboarding trackers, action logs and document repositories, escalating risks, gaps or delays to the Head of Procurement where appropriate.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- A high level of computer literacy with practical knowledge and application of all Microsoft Office applications

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a strong Administrator to provide high quality administrative and operational support to the Governance and Compliance Team.
Your role focuses on meeting coordination, record-keeping, and day-to-day governance administration, ensuring that Local Governing Bodies (LGBs) and governance professionals are well supported and compliant with Trust policies and statutory requirements. You will also provide administration support to the Federation’s risk and internal audit functions.
You will play an essential part in ensuring efficient governance and compliance operations, accurate documentation and timely communication, contributing to the smooth functioning of governance and compliance at academy and Trust level.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
As a Administrator to the Governance and Compliance Team, you will play a key role in supporting effective governance across our academies by providing high-quality administrative and operational support to the Governance Team.
You will support Local Governing Bodies through meeting coordination, clerking, and accurate record-keeping, helping to ensure governance processes are compliant, well-organised, and run smoothly at both academy and Trust level. The role requires a willingness to work some evenings to support governance meetings and the ability to travel across the Trust as needed.
Governance Records & Compliance Administration
- Maintain accurate governance records including:
- registers of interest
- governor attendance records
- training logs
- membership lists and terms of office
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes for governors, including DBS checks, induction materials, and profile updates.
- Ensure relevant governance documents, policies, and registers are updated and stored in line with Trust protocols.
- Assist with preparing documentation and evidence for governance audits and internal audit assurance checks.
Complaints & Panel Administration
- Support administration of complaints processes at academy level, including logging, tracking, and maintaining secure records.
- Coordinate panel dates, paperwork, documentation packs, and correspondence to complainants.
- Take minutes at hearings where required, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and procedural compliance.
- Support the Governance Manager by maintaining databases, generating reports, and ensuring actions are documented.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We would like to hear from you if you have:
- Qualifications to Level 3 or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to undertake governance-related training, with NGA or clerking qualifications desirable
- Experience in administration, clerical, or coordination roles.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to produce clear, accurate minutes and documentation
- Confident communication skills, both written and spoken

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Maths Hub Administrator to support the smooth and effective delivery of our Maths Hub programmes.
You will provide high quality administrative, organisational and communication support to Work Group Leads and the wider Maths Hub team, enabling projects, events and reporting requirements to be delivered efficiently and on time.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Your responsibilities will cover:
Work Group Lead (WGL) Support

Our EYFS compliant Early Years Provision is an essential part of our English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) service, providing Early Years education & development for children who have English as an Additional Language (EAL). The Early Years Session Lead holds responsibility for leading sessions in our trauma-informed Early Years setting. Are you an experienced A level tutor? Can you support under-resourced young people to reach their full academic potential?
We are looking for passionate and qualified A level tutors to deliver high quality group tuition to students. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced tutors with a love of learning to help bright students overcome barriers to academic achievement. Tutorials are delivered online to groups of up to 4 students via our bespoke online learning platform.
Tutorials generally take place between the hours of 3pm and 8pm on weekday evenings, with flexibility around the schedules of our tutors and students.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead weekly hour-long tutorials with your tutor group(s), via the online learning platform
- Responsively plan and deliver stimulating, high quality tuition in line with the Quality Assurance Framework
- Effectively monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback when requested
- Complete weekly attendance forms, supply monthly invoices, and complete other administrative duties as required
- Participate in observation and feedback process, taking advantage of continuous professional development opportunities
- Follow safeguarding policies, supporting the wellbeing of your students at all times
Successful candidates must have the right to work in the UK by the time the work commences
About You
You will have at least two years A level teaching and/or tutoring experience and a positive, engaging and flexible teaching style.
You will also have:
- Familiarity with and strong knowledge of relevant exam boards and specifications
- Evidence of ability to tutor one or more of the following subjects to A level standard: Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) or Maths
- Ability to commit to weekly hour-long tutorials at the same time each week over the academic year
- UK based, with the right to work in the UK
- Passionate about organisations mission
