As a senior leader within the team, the Membership Engagement Manager will play a key role in delivering AMiE’s mission and supporting the education of mathematics across the sector.
The Association for Mathematics in Education (AMiE) supports anyone involved in mathematics education through a wide range of resources, publications, CPD opportunities and events. We shape the future of mathematics by bringing the sector together and providing a platform for a shared voice to advocate for the learning and teaching of mathematics.
Leading the development and delivery of our membership and engagement strategies, you will ensure that AMiE is focussed on the needs and wants of our members, growing and retaining members and ensuring we fulfil our aim to be a strong and cohesive platform for people across the mathematics education sector to be supported, developed and heard.
As well as taking responsibility for member recruitment and retention, you will ensure a responsive and compelling member offer and provide strong and supportive line management to our team of committed staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of AMiE’s membership and engagement strategy, ensuring growth, retention and a compelling member offer.
- Drive strategic improvements in member acquisition, retention and lifetime value, aligning services and products with member needs.
- Build an engaging, inclusive professional community by shaping the member experience and overseeing effective communication across platforms.
- Oversee the use of data, CRM systems and digital tools to enhance engagement, improve processes and deliver insight‑driven decision‑making.

What we need from you:
Essential
· Significant experience in a senior membership and/or engagement role
· Strong track record of developing and delivering membership strategies that drive growth, retention, and engagement
· Experience in using membership data via CRM systems, data tools, and digital platforms to manage member engagement activity and maximise impact and efficiency
· Line management experience, including a proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
· Experience in building and managing strong relationships and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
Desirable
· Knowledge and understanding of the education sector

We are the leading kinship care charity supporting more than 15,000 kinship carers across England and Wales each year. We’re here for kinship carers – friends or family who step up to raise a child when their parents aren’t able to. They care for more than 141,000 children in England and Wales, double the number in foster care, but feel isolated and need help. By supporting, advising and informing kinship carers, and campaigning together for fairer services, we are changing lives and changing the system.
Kinship’s peer support and community work, supported by Department for Education funding, helps kinship carers feel connected, less isolated and better supported by building local, carer-led peer support groups and strengthening wider community networks.
Our delivery model prioritises proactive outreach and sustainable growth through a volunteer model.
The team works in communities to bring kinship carers together, support and train volunteer group leaders, and grow groups to a point where they are sustainable and independent (ideally within 6 months). Sustainable means able to thrive without direct staff involvement or attendance. A central ‘Hub’ team then provides ongoing remote support, training and connection.
This role provides the operational grip to plan, deliver and continuously improve this work, while evidencing impact through robust data monitoring, reporting and clear storytelling.

About the role
The Community, Events and Education Lead is a critical member of WaterAid’s Mass Engagement Department, driving forward both marketing and fundraising from a range of audiences, as well as leading our Special Events and volunteering activities.

Education Development Officer (part-time, Monday–Wednesday)

About You
Do you have a proven track record of operationally managing the end-to-end delivery of education and training programmes from conception to execution and evaluation? If so, we’d love to hear from you?
You must be a motivated and proactive individual who is able to work with a range of stakeholders to deliver our organisation's PLD portfolio and growth initiatives. The role requires an individual with the drive to create, deliver and maintain a comprehensive portfolio of programmes that support the continuous professional development of healthcare professionals working in sexual and reproductive healthcare.
This post is part of a job share arrangement. You will work closely with the other Education Development Officer to ensure continuity, handover and shared ownership of the PLD portfolio. This will require strong communication, collaboration and planning to ensure seamless delivery across the week.
The Role
As the Education Development Officer (EDO), you’ll work closely with CoSRH staff, clinical subject matter experts, organisational partners and suppliers to help develop, design, build and maintain the delivery of high-quality education and training programmes and resources. - Support the best user experiences for learners, candidates and trainers. This will include dealing with enquiries, the processing of application and member support tickets.

What could my day look like?
The Education Worker role is a frontline, fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same. A typical day will have different activities, possibly spread between the IntoUniversity centre, partner schools and the offices of a corporate partner.
In the morning, you might be setting off with resources to run a workshop for sixth-form students in their secondary school. In the afternoon you may be setting up the classroom ahead of running Primary Academic Support for young people in your IntoUniversity centre. We are seeking an experienced charity manager to coordinate and manage the activity of the BVA Animal Welfare Foundation (AWF), which places animal welfare at the forefront of veterinary knowledge via research, education and debate.
You will have a strong track record of working with a Board of Trustees and associated committees on the successful implementation of a charity strategy, alongside an ability to lead on the implementation of a focused fundraising strategy.
