The Role
As the Monitoring & Data Officer, you’ll support the Monitoring & Data Manager and Coordinator to validate, clean, and manage programme data. You’ll review submissions for accuracy and completeness, resolve discrepancies, and help ensure the integrity of the data that underpins our impact. Your work will support evidence-based decision-making. Collaboration and attention to detail are key, as is a passion for improving lives in rural Zambia and Mozambique.
Your Responsibilities:

Validate and clean incoming data from local partners, identifying and flagging any errors or inconsistencies using tools such as Excel and Salesforce.

Conduct regular (weekly and monthly) checks on submitted data to ensure accuracy and assess progress against set targets.

Maintain and update all impact data, ensuring all records are accurate and complete.

Assist in testing and reviewing both new and existing data systems to ensure proper functionality, support the addition of new fields and adjustments as needed.

Support data validation during data collection rounds by reviewing data collection tools.

Liaise with local partners and internal teams to clarify discrepancies or follow up on incomplete submissions.

Be proactive in helping strengthen the monitoring systems.

Katherine Low Settlement is a busy, local charity that has been serving Battersea and the wider Wandsworth community since 1924. We are dedicated to building stronger communities and enable people to challenge and find ways out of poverty and isolation.
We run a range of our own community services to support local older people and children, young people, and their families from refugee communities. We campaign for social change. We incubate and support other charities and social businesses to thrive. Each week we work with 30+ charities and community groups supporting more than 1,000 people.
We are looking for an experienced, confident and proactive fundraiser to join our income generation team to raise more grant income from charitable trusts and foundations primarily, along with corporates and other partners. These include local schools and community organisations. Maintaining great relationships with these and other supporters Is a key requirement of this role. A confident self-starter, you will have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Role Purpose
Working alongside our chief executive (who is an experienced fundraiser), an external larger bid writing resource and heads of programmes, the key objectives are to successfully generate income with grants valuing up to c.£10k in line with KLS fundraising plan and annual budget; develop and maintain relationships, and secure funding from, a portfolio of loyal and prospective supporters. Stewardship, reporting, pipeline and other database management tasks are other key features of the role.

Job Description
This role is central to positioning CSC as the leading small-to-medium-sized science centre and STEM engagement organisation in the UK. Working with the CEO and Directors, you will help identify opportunities, shape the CSC marketing strategy and convert that into an objective-centric plan of action. You will be responsible for all CSC marketing campaigns and activity, owning the brand and its development across all key audiences, including the public, community groups, teachers and school leadership, corporate CSR teams, and educational grant providers. You will own CSC’s marketing partnerships and publicity channels, including the website, social media, YouTube and press contacts. To develop a steady stream of interesting content for these channels and to celebrate key successes of the organisation, you will animate the entire CSC team to capture and share impactful stories through newsletters, media appearances, social media, conferences, and direct engagements. Additionally, you will ensure the organisation is supported with up-to-date collateral across all major functions and initiatives, while fostering a customer-focused approach through media and marketing skills training across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities

As a Individual Giving Manager you will
- Lead on the development and implementation of an effective programme to develop supporters using a range of channels, including but not limited to direct mail, telemarketing, DRTV and digital, and products including cash, raffle, regular giving, weekly lottery.

Legacy Stewardship Manager

The Legacy Stewardship Manager will plan and deliver an ambitious new legacy stewardship strategy to bring about growth in future legacy income. It will diversify the current legacy stewardship programme to convert more legacy prospects and maintain more pledgers using a combination of relationship and mass fundraising activities. It will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality communications and experiences which make supporters feel inspired, valued and deepen relationships with them over the long-term.
This role is critical in growing future legacy income for RNID, which currently represents 72% of RNID’s income. It will play a pivotal role in a Legacy Fundraising Team of four people, reporting into the Head of Legacies, working alongside the Legacy Marketing Manager and line managing the Gifts in Wills Specialist Officer.
This role is a new addition to a growing team in an organisation where legacy fundraising has a high profile. It is an ideal next step for an experienced and confident legacy fundraiser wanting to make their mark by growing the legacy stewardship programme to a new ambitious level that matches an increased investment in legacy acquisition.
You’re an experienced and ambitious legacy fundraiser with the ability to think strategically as well as deliver a full and varied programme of operational activity. Working Conditions
The primary locations for this role will be Cambridge Science Centre's Head Office at 44 Clifton Road, Cambridge, CB1 7ED (assigned desk or workspace) and the Cambridge Science Centre at Trinity Centre, Cambridge Science Park, CB4 0FN (hotdesking model).
Working one weekend every three weeks, depending on Centre capacity. CSC plans rotas at least 4 weeks in advance to avoid consecutive weekend commitment where possible to do so.
In addition, there will be frequent travel (primarily driving with a company or hire vehicle) to the semi-permanent centre (Inspire Wisbech Centre, Wisbech, PE13 1AR) and, on occasion a variety of locations across the East of England, including schools and community venues, which will include occasional overnight stays.
We offer the option of flexible hybrid working where and when possible, when not delivering sessions.

ImpactEd Group supports education and purpose-driven organisations to maximise and realise their potential. A growing and skilled team of over 30 people, we help our partners to be consistently impactful and sustainable through a combination of specialist support and use of digital tools.
This project would support our Evaluation Practice. The evaluation team works with over 1,500 schools and organisations, analysing the impact of programmes and interventions to help them do more of what works and less of what doesn’t for young people. As well as tailored consultancy and support for our partners, we support schools and organisations to collect and evaluate educational data through an in-house digital tool (our “School Impact Platform”) – which this project would support.
The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced data engineer to help transform our data infrastructure to better manage our growing dataset of over 14 billion records and create more efficient analytics capabilities. This is a hands-on technical role that will involve both strategic advisory work and practical implementation.
Initially a fixed-term project of around 3-4 months, working to the project outcomes, there may be opportunities for longer-term advisory and technical support following completion if this is of interest.
We are happy for you to work flexibly although would expect the majority of your time to be committed to this project. We expect the work to be conducted predominantly remotely, with a few key meetings in person at our London offices, though you are welcome to use our office space throughout. We anticipate the project being outside of IR35.
What will you do?
Our School Impact Platform brings together existing data from schools (for example, on student demographics and attendance at school) and other forms of data (for example, surveys on student wellbeing and motivation) to help school leaders and educational organisations better understand the impact of their educational choices and programmes.
Part of this involves processing significant data from schools, and we are looking at options for how this could be handled more effectively and be more easily extracted for analysis.
We currently have 14 billion records in a PostgreSQL table, which we believe could be stored more cost effectively and allow for faster data retrieval by using new or alternative data stores. We would also like to develop data pipelines to take data from Postgres to serve analytics use cases, either in new Postgres tables or potentially in a data warehouse or similar.

Job Description
The Healthcare Partnerships Lead will be responsible for the delivery of our Healthcare Engagement Strategy, through the development and delivery of projects and activities which embrace collaboration, raise the profile and credibility of both the Overcoming MS charity and Program, and extend supported self- management of MS within the health and social sector. We want to be the go-to charity for lifestyle and living well with MS and to demonstrate the added value we bring through education, resources, community and partnership working.
The past 12 months have seen the laying of a strong foundation for both increasing credibility and collaboration. This has included identifying barriers to supporting self-management in MS, developing education, piloting projects and resources to overcome some of those barriers in partnership with healthcare professionals. Honing datasets and presenting these meaningfully, has added credibility and demonstrated value. We want to see that foundation built on further, and shared more widely, taken forward by the new Healthcare Partnerships Lead.
Key Responsibilities
· The successful delivery of the Healthcare Engagement Strategy, identifying and prioritising engagement with our key audiences and stakeholders.
· Working closely with both our Medical Advisor, Information and Research Manager (new role) and with the existing HCP Advisory Group and wider engaged healthcare partners, to facilitate the development of the relationship, profile and reach between the charity and the health and social care sectors. Around information sharing, service design, and understanding of the role of lifestyle in holistic management of MS.
· Identifying and attending key healthcare events and conferences, building networks, partnerships and other resources to increase knowledge and awareness of how the charity and Overcoming MS Program, benefits people with MS and maximise opportunities for signposting.
· Building frameworks for data gathering and evaluation to effectively review benefit of collaborative interventions and report outcomes widely and meaningfully, in partnership with the Information and Research Manager.
· Maintaining understanding of policy and priorities of healthcare agencies to ensure mutual or aligned priorities from both, in addition to people living with MS, are all factors taken into consideration when developing plans and pathways.
· Identifying opportunities for collaboration and partnership working through engagement with HCP professionals and organisations.
· Lead on healthcare education through our existing partnership with the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine, marketing the education widely, evaluating its benefit to HCPs and strategically reviewing the format, vehicle and content as appropriate.
· Providing clear, responsive and consistent educational content around the importance of lifestyle choices and behaviours to healthcare professionals based on the current evidence-base and the Overcoming MS Program, working closely with the Information & Research Manager to ensure up-to-date and validated content.
Other Responsibilities
· Creating meaningful engagement with the MS community and healthcare professional partners, widening our reach to support more people with MS.
· Mapping local assets and services to target and test appropriate resources and support to MS clinics, to help HCPs share information and support their patients to self-manage, tracking success.
· Empowering people affected by MS and their healthcare professionals to discuss lifestyle modification and the Overcoming MS Program with confidence, improving self-management and health outcomes.
· Engaging new HCP audiences, reducing barriers and perceptions of lifestyle modification in the treatment of MS.
· Leading on the delivery, monitoring and evaluation of key programmes, considering key insight, collecting and analysing data to measure impact against project and charity targets.
· Supporting the delivery of key products, services and events both in person and online that reach multiple audiences and budgeting accordingly.
· Identifying opportunities for accessing funding streams, working with Fundraising colleagues to diversify our income base.
· Raising our profile within the healthcare environment so that they recommend the charity and will advocate on our behalf.
· As we are a small, busy charity, all staff help with the general running of the organisation in addition to their specific role activities.
About you
Education or experience in a related field e.g. healthcare management, public health, you’ll have a strong understanding of the NHS, Public Health and the UK health care policy landscape. Knowledge of the global health care landscape would be an advantage but not essential.
You’ll have previous experience as a senior healthcare lead or similar role for example within the NHS or similar medical field or will have experience leading community or public health related engagement programmes.
With excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills, including working with stakeholders at very senior and professional levels, you’ll have strategic analytical skills, able to frame problems and solutions in a logical fashion and demonstrate a high degree of empathy and compassion for health-related issues.
You’ll have intellectual flexibility, able to embrace and deal with ambiguity, complexity and to be open to creativity in leading and bringing about effective change.

This two-year, fixed-term role is a key part of our strategy to reach groups who may not traditionally engage with IPSEA’s support - including children and families with English as an additional language, cared-for children (children in care), migrant children, detained children, and Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities.
The project builds on a detailed scoping exercise we’ve recently completed, which involved working closely with a wide range of charities and organisations that support these communities. The resulting report outlines the barriers they face, and will form the foundation for this project and directly inform the work you will lead.

The Community Engagement Officer is an essential role in fostering strong relationships with current and prospective members of the School Library Association community. BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Emmanuel is one of the Colleges that make up the collegiate structure of the University of Cambridge. We provide a community-focused environment for learning, living and working in peaceful and beautiful grounds situated in the centre of the City. The College was founded in 1584 by Sir Walter Mildmay and has been a centre of outstanding learning ever since. It currently has around 700 students (undergraduate and postgraduate), 90 Fellows (who teach and research at the College) and 180 staff. We welcome people into the Emma community from across the globe, of many different backgrounds, with many different experiences.
The Development Office supports the college in its charitable purpose by building and maintaining a supportive, lifelong, two-way relationship with Members (alumni), and engaging the community of members and friends to contribute their time, expertise and philanthropy. Between 2015 and 2022, the Development Office raised £38m in new philanthropic income through the Emma enables campaign. This was the college’s most successful campaign ever and saw a significant uplift in philanthropy across major, regular, and legacy giving. We are looking now to build on this momentum as we plan the next campaign.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITES
The post-holder’s principal objective is to manage the successful development and delivery of the College’s regular giving programme, using multi-channel approaches to increase the value and number of members (alumni) and friends who give, to build on this sustainable annual source of philanthropic income.
Fundraising
- Manage and develop a successful regular giving programme, taking initiative to plan and organise an annual cycle of activity to ensure all contactable members are solicited for a gift once a year, maximising donor retention.
- Manage and deliver the annual telephone campaign, including working with consultants, preparing data, drafting letters, recruiting students, training and call-room management.
- Organise mass and tailored annual appeals (both digital and postal) to members.
- Achieve annual targets for increasing the percentage and number of members and friends who give, set in collaboration with the Head of Development.
- Move prospects through the gift cycle and up the giving ladder in a timely manner.
- Identify and refer regular or longstanding donors with potentially greater capacity to other fundraisers as appropriate.
Communications
- Contact donors whose pledges are due to expire to encourage renewals and upgrades.
- Prepare thank you letters ensuring that donors to the regular giving programme are thanked promptly and appropriately.
- Confidently engage with the college community – including students and Fellows – to gain an understanding of the need for philanthropic support.
- Write compelling fundraising copy for mass appeals.
- Work with the Engagement Manager to contribute to the production of stewardship materials.
Analysis and Innovation
- Analyse the performance and effectiveness of solicitations and mailings, identifying trends, testing solutions, sourcing additional related information where appropriate.
- Analyse sector benchmarking data to provide strategic insight into the comparative performance of the College’s regular giving programme.
- Develop a strong knowledge of sector best practice through networking, benchmarking, identifying and undertaking training and development opportunities and, where appropriate, implement these best practices.
- Research and identify new opportunities, thinking creatively to develop unique appeals.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues across the Collegiate University, attending working groups, training opportunities and the annual development conference where appropriate.
General Administration
- Ensure that data is recorded accurately and concisely on the Raiser’s Edge database.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality in the maintenance of personal and financial records and ensure compliance at all times with Data Protection legislation.
- Have expert knowledge and understanding of current legislation impacting upon regular giving and stewardship, marketing and operations, such as gift aid, General Data Protection Regulations and fundraising regulation, and ensure operational compliance.
- Represent and promote the Development Office within college and externally, attending occasional member events where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Development team and across the college in delivering the overall Development Strategy.

Stories Officer

The Stories Officer sits in the Marketing and Communications team and will focus on:
· Assist in managing storytelling requests from across RNID, providing vital support and crafting impactful and compelling narratives.
· You’ll be gathering and shaping powerful authentic stories that highlight the impact of RNID’s work, supporting RNID’s strategic goals.
· When you join us, you’ll dive straight into important campaigns like our Protect Your Hearing Campaign, helping to craft meaningful stories. You might find yourself out on location, capturing powerful stories firsthand from our amazing storytellers or coordinating a photo shoot featuring one of our celebrity supporters.
As Stories Officer, you will:
· Work closely with the Stories & Celebrity Manager, identify, interview, and write-up case study stories from people who are deaf, have hearing loss, or tinnitus to support RNID’s campaigns, media, and fundraising efforts.
· Manage and update our centralised database of case studies, celebrities, and influencers, ensuring all stories across the charity are recorded for effective stewardship. Maintain storyteller profiles, contact details, permissions, and consent forms while ensuring GDPR compliance in data collection and storage.
· Collaborate with PR, fundraising, digital, and campaigning teams to integrate storytelling into their work, identify their needs, and match case studies or celebrities to relevant projects.
· Support the development and delivery of storytelling content across multiple platforms, including social media, website, press, and marketing materials, ensuring content meets accessibility standards.
· Manage multiple internal and external storyteller requests.
We are looking for an individual with a passion for storytelling and a deep commitment to amplifying the voices of people who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus.
You will have excellent writing skills, with experience in journalism, PR, or a similar field, and a strong ability to craft compelling narratives that engage and inspire. Your interviewing skills will be key, as you’ll need to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident sharing their stories.
Sensitivity and empathy will be essential as you capture authentic, impactful stories. In addition, you’ll be an exceptional multitasker, able to manage multiple storytelling requests and competing priorities with ease. Your proactive and creative approach will drive you to consistently find new ways to tell powerful stories that align with the charity’s mission and strategic goals.
