The LifeSkills programme offers groups of families the chance to come together to a trusted venue such as a children’s centre or community setting. As well as offering opportunities for families to spend quality time together and have access to healthy food, these sessions offer LifeSkills workshops for parents and carers to build their confidence, social networks, financial and employability skills. Examples include but are not limited to overcoming setbacks, managing debt, boosting confidence to return to work, CV writing, interview skills. The aims of the LifeSkills programme are to support participants to increase their confidence and 21st century skills, move closer to training/volunteering/employment, improve their social networks, and grow their confidence to provide low cost and nutritious meals.

Main Responsibilities:

The role involves delivering LifeSkills sessions to groups of families in East Yorkshire. The postholder will also be the main point of contact for delivery partners hosting programmes (e.g., small charities, schools) and staff and volunteers delivering sessions and be expected to respond promptly to a wide range of queries and requests for support. Examples might include, for instance, devising LifeSkills programmes for different cohorts, presenting to potential partners, devising risk assessments, recording data, and visiting and providing guidance and support for staff and volunteers delivering sessions in venues across the area.

Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):

• To be the main point of contact for delivery partners (as well as for fundraising / marketing staff), for a portfolio of LifeSkills programmes, and respond promptly to queries and concerns. 
• To support delivery of LifeSkills sessions (e.g. take bookings, develop PowerPoint slides) as well as planning and delivering own LifeSkills programmes.

About This Role

We are looking for an exceptional Outreach Manager to lead our outreach and develop excellent referral partner relationships across London. Our Outreach Manager will play a vital role in ensuring that as many women as possible know about and can access our service. 

This is an exciting opportunity for an organised, passionate, strategic, and relationship-driven individual to grow our reach and impact within London (and beyond). 

The role would be based across all of London and our three London centres (Islington, Ladbroke Grove and Croydon). You will be expected to travel to and attend outreach events, as well as meeting referral partner organisations. There will also be occasional evening and weekend work, for which time off in lieu is given.

Freedom from Modern Slavery’ launched in 2024 and this role is essential for the delivery of the 
strategy and ensuring that survivors of modern slavery, human trafficking, and exploitation have
access to the support and opportunities they need to achieve their aspirations, independence 
and a positive future. With soaring numbers of referral to the NRM and thousands more victims 
living in fear of a hostile environment, this has never been more important than now. 

At the heart of Sophie Hayes Foundation’s work will be the support to and empowerment of 
survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking and this role is critical to survivors’ journeys 
to sustainable freedom. 

Alongside a small, friendly and dedicated team, you will coordinate and deliver our 
programmes for survivors of modern slavery, including our flagship Employability Programme 
(EP) and our Conversational English for Independence (CEFI) course.

As a Support Worker at Ace of Clubs drop-in day centre supporting people who are homeless and facing adversity, you will play a key role in supporting individuals who may be navigating chaotic lifestyles, trauma, and multiple disadvantages. You will provide practical and emotional support, help people access essential services, and work to empower them to move towards independence.

Your role will involve working directly with service users, managing case records, liaising with partner agencies, and contributing to the smooth running of our busy centre. Ultimately, you will support people to overcome barriers, develop essential skills, and build confidence in navigating life challenges and providing advocacy where needed.  In particular, you will be on duty as Support Worker during our busy, daily lunchtime service - responding to the needs of a variety of guests – on a busy day we can reach 150 – 200 guests visiting our service.

In addition, Ace of Clubs works with a wide range of volunteers and partners on a daily basis including food partners, health partners, corporate, individual and client volunteers.  Your role will also be required to support the team in the smooth functioning of these areas, for example liaising with partners on site, showing around volunteers or feeding back any issues during lunch service.

You will also be required to support the Centre Manager with the operations and building’s co-ordination, including carrying out weekly health and safety checks as required, i.e. fire alarm checks, legionella checks etc., meeting onsite contractors, counting and logging cash takings, responding and filtering the central email account and making food and supplies orders. You will be provided with comprehensive training in these areas.

The Role
The role of a Senior Programme Coordinator is ensuring the smooth running of all programme related events and providing support services to Associate Fellows. This will include having a full understanding of all the SEO London programmes; understanding the relevant industry that the programme supports; how these fit into the SEO London organisation and using this knowledge to liaise with students, young professionals and client/partner firms to run, organise and market successful events.

Programme Delivery and Logistics

· Responsibility for the scoping and delivery of key projects and events based on a strong understanding about the required outcomes from the partner firms and participants.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Children & Young People programme at IRMO as an ESOL Teacher working with Spanish and Portuguese-speaking children who have recently arrived in the country, speak little English and whose families are often still navigating the school admissions processes to enable them to access compulsory education in the UK.

The children’s ESOL tutor will lead on the planning and delivery of weekly creative ESOL classes for three age groups: 5-8yrs, 8-12yrs (every Tuesday from 4:30pm - 6pm) and 13-19yrs (every Wednesday from 4:30pm - 6pm). They will work closely with volunteers and our second ESOL tutor to ensure high-quality delivery, monitor children’s progress through evaluations and observations, maintain accurate records in our CRM, and contribute to improving IRMO’s ESOL scheme of work. The role also involves liaising regularly with the wider team to share insights on children’s needs as well as coordinating quarterly family trips or cultural events (typically on Saturdays).

The overall aim of IRMO ESOL provision is to equip children with the English Language skills they need to: thrive and perform well at school and beyond; build their social, emotional and communication skills; reach their full potential; make new friends and reduce isolation. The ability to speak Spanish is essential for the role and knowledge of Portuguese or willingness to learn is desirable. 

The successful candidate will have experience teaching ESOL to children and young people (including online) and an understanding of the challenges faced by migrant, asylum-seeking, and refugee learners in the UK. Availability after school hours and one Saturday a quarter is essential.

To ensure continuity of delivery, the postholder is expected to work during all Lambeth school term teaching weeks.

Key responsibilities

Project Delivery 

• Plan and deliver weekly group ESOL sessions for children and young people. 

• Lead on the planning of sessions, logistics and update the IRMO ESOL Work Scheme. 

• Work with and delegate responsibilities to the ESOL Tutor to ensure they are able to deliver lessons effectively

• Liaise and work with volunteer ESOL volunteers to support the planning and delivery of face-to-face and/or online sessions.

• Keep accurate and detailed teacher’s observations, register and attendance, and support with writing quarterly case studies. 

• Input data on IRMO’s CRM system.

Safeguarding 

• Ensure the wellbeing and safeguarding of children following IRMO's Safeguarding Policy, H&S Policy, Data Protection policies and the latest relevant guidelines. 

• Carry out Health & Safety checks of the spaces children will be using, i.e. classrooms, children’s toilet and playground and report any hazards or health & safety concerns.

• Attend regular safeguarding training, particularly courses specific to the area of work, as agreed in supervision and appraisal.

• Signpost and refer service users, working in sync with the wider teams at IRMO.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding LifeSkills Intensive team.  You will offer supervision and management oversight to support workers primarily in your geographical area. You will be able to retain your practice experience and hold a small caseload and will be part of a wider supportive LifeSkills team.

LifeSkills supports individuals and families to build their confidence, social networks, financial and employability skills.  LifeSkills Intensive provides 1-1 support to those that are furthest away from employment, education and training.  This service is funded by our corporate partnership with Barclays.

Main Responsibilities:

· To line management and supervise support workers in a specific geographical areas as well as an online offer.

· Support with the management of referrals into the service, both in terms of service promotion and also decision making /allocation.

· To oversee and develop the service offer and ensure that this is having a positive impact.

· To hold a small caseload.

Job Summary

The Head of Operations holds responsibility for our day-to-day delivery, strategic development of our services, and operational team leadership. As our new Head of Operations you will:

• sit on the PiP Senior Management Team and lead our team of circa twenty delivery staff.

• champion PiP meeting our regulatory and reporting requirements, manage key relationships including with local authorities, and hold budget responsibility across our service.

What You’ll Need

• Significant experience of working with people with learning disabilities, or a similar vulnerable client group, including knowledge of Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults (SOVA) processes.
• Significant experience of leading and managing a staff team.
• Strong understanding of and commitment to a person-centred approach to working with people with learning disabilities, including planning, progress monitoring and review.
• Experience of liaising with a wide network of agencies and sector professionals in support of student needs.
• Knowledge of national and local legislation and policy affecting people with learning disabilities, including personal budgets. Alongside knowledge of key legislation and processes including on Health & Safety and Risk Skills and abilities 
• Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, including the ability to maintain accurate records and produce reports for a variety of internal and external audiences.
• Able to take a lead role in the implementation of major tasks, including contributing to the delivery of key performance management targets and making organisational and systems improvements.
• Able to manage and complete projects successfully, including delegating tasks and monitoring and evaluating progress against outcomes.
• Able to establish, develop and maintain constructive and professional relationships with a wide variety of professionals and carers both internally and externally.

We need an experienced horticulture trainer to lead the training programme at our beautiful garden site in Tooting. We are looking for someone to lead, develop and deliver horticulture training programmes that aims to make sure our students enjoy greater independence and the chance to move closer to employment.

Main responsibilities 

• You’ll lead, develop, and deliver horticulture training to disabled adults ranging from entry level to level 2
• You’ll champion a strong work ethic in the garden, helping students achieve their qualifications and develop work-related skills, linking closely with our on-site social enterprise Share Nurseries, which grows and sells plants to the public 

• You will manage three members of the horticulture project, overseeing their projects and providing experience and supporting them 

• You’ll maintain student records, oversee the preparation of student portfolios for verification, and report on progress 

Who we’re looking for 

• You have occupational competence in Horticulture, ideally qualified to Level 3 or above 

• You have first-rate interpersonal skills, you’re able to communicate and relate to people from all backgrounds
• You’ve delivered horticulture training, and you’ve successfully organised and led a small team before
• You can enthuse and motivate people who may at times find learning challenging, with your patience, empathy, and understanding of autism and learning disabilities
• Most importantly, you’re committed to the inclusion of disabled people in all aspects of life 

A qualification in horticulture therapy would be an advantage, but a strong interest and passion for the healing power of plants is a must.

The Head of Programme Delivery provides leadership for The Diana Award’s Programmes team, ensuring the effective design and delivery of a high-quality, impactful portfolio of programmes. As the strategic and operational lead for programme delivery, the postholder will oversee performance, budgets, and quality standards, ensuring all activity aligns with organisational goals, funding commitments, and The Diana Award’s Theory of Change. They will lead and develop a team of Programme Managers, drive continuous improvement and innovation, and play a key role in shaping new programmes and partnerships. Working closely with the Director of Programmes & Partnerships, the role ensures TDA consistently delivers excellence for young people and partners.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Programme Leadership & Partnership Management

• Lead the delivery of core programmes and our international award, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy, funding commitments, KPIs, and quality standards.
• Oversee programme planning, scheduling, logistics, and budget management with Programme Managers.
• Monitor delivery performance and budgets, ensuring effective processes and accurate reporting to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
• Ensure all programme activities meet agreed funding KPIs and deliverables.
• Work across the organisation, including closely with the Marketing & Communications team, to support effective delivery of programmes and partnerships.
• Support the Director of Programmes & Partnerships in developing and implementing a partnership strategy, cultivating new relationships to strengthen programme funding and delivery.

Programme Design & Impact

• Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of The Diana Award’s programmes and new initiatives, ensuring high quality and relevance.
• Provide thought leadership on effective youth interventions, embedding evidence and sector insights into delivery practice.
• Oversee development of programmes in line with The Diana Award’s Theory of Change, mission and vision.

Leadership & Representation

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

Essential

• Significant experience leading complex programmes from design to delivery within youth, education, or employability settings.

• Track record of delivering multiple programmes to time, budget and quality.
