River Church Ipswich is an HTB Network church plant in the town centre of Ipswich, which launched in September 2021 and has already grown quickly into a thriving resource church, with a congregation of more than 200, and three Sunday services.
The Spear Centre Manager will work as part of the River Church staff team to oversee the delivery of Spear—an employability programme equipping and empowering unemployed 16-24 year-olds to overcome barriers to employment and their lives around by moving into sustainable work or further education.

Hours: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 9.30am-5.30pm with some out-of-hours work needed for events such as our Spear Celebrations

Key Responsibilities
Website
- Responsibility for maintenance and development of Resurgo’s website, delivering engaging content with a focus on dynamic visuals and videos, tailored to our different website audiences.
- Optimise user journeys across all Resurgo’s digital channels.
Partnership liaison and relationship management
- Establish the primary local referral agencies and build and implement a strategy for developing relationships with them to ensure recruitment of young people onto the Spear programme is effective.
- Maintain and develop relationships with local partners to form a strong referral network.
Oversight of Spear Programme Spear
Foundation is a 4-week initial phase, consisting of 2 group sessions and a 1:1 with each trainee per week, in which we coach young people around skills and mindsets to support them in returning to work or education, and equip them with the skills to stay there.
- As a confident communicator, you will lead group sessions of around 10 young people each, using coaching skills to transform attitudes to their own ability and the workplace, and to raise their awareness and maximise potential in stepping into the world of work.
- Prepare and coach group and 1-1 sessions with the Spear Assistant Coach.
- Ensure the programme is delivered in line with agreed targets, and report KPIs on recruitment, retention and completion of Spear Trainees to Resurgo and the Spear Trust, as well as their ongoing progress and sustainment of work or education
Line management and training
- Manage the Assistant Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development.
- Be line managed by River Church staff, locally, and by Resurgo, nationally, to support with the set-up and ongoing operations of the centre and report back on KPI.
Supporting River Church’s mission and ministry
- You will be required to establish strong relationships with key people at the church to ensure the engagement and backing of church members, and help the Assistant coaches to establish a strong presence at the church to build a network of supporters for the Spear programme.
- Ensuring the Spear programme is a key missional feature of the work of the church
- Work with the Head of Operations and Fundraising Assistant to prepare successful grant funding applications for Spear Ipswich, and provide timely grant reporting.
- Attend and participate in Staff Meeting, Tuesday morning Prayer Meeting, and Sunday Services (serving on a team at one or more Sunday service) • Regularly pray for Spear, River Church, and in particular our Social Transformation work.
- Attending other River Church events and services, occasionally speaking and/or contributing as required • Ad hoc tasks and other project work.
Site management
- Liaise with relevant staff locally on site issues and work to resolve them as soon as possible, ensuring the office and training room are safe and tidy working spaces in line with health and safety policies.

The King's Trust International are seeking a Digital Content Specialist to lead with designing content for our WhatsApp based chatbot – Get Ready.
Get Ready is an interactive digital personal development programme that creates a safe and supportive space for young people to develop key life and employability skills. The programme is delivered directly to individuals via an interactive WhatsApp based chatbot, taking young people through a series of modules to build their employability knowledge, communication skills and confidence.
We are looking to create and adapt content for two separate programmes for use in two contexts; Trinidad and Tobago, and Nigeria. Both programmes will use the WhatsApp platform to enhance existing face to face learning.
Knowledge of writing content for digital delivery, specifically through Whatsapp is essential. The successful candidate will have knowledge and application of user experience and user centred design.

Women’s Project Supervisor

Wintercomfort works with people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or with a history of homelessness. We provide services to aid every stage of recovery - from immediate basic welfare needs to long term help in identifying and dealing with the problems which are undermining their stability, and enabling them to engage with education, employment and specialist health services. National statistics rank the numbers of rough sleepers in Cambridge within the highest 20 UK local authorities.
Role Summary
The Women’s Project Supervisor role is to work with and when appropriate deputise for the Services Manager to maintain, develop, and expand services to ensure that Wintercomfort can meet its objectives of supporting vulnerable, homeless or at risk of homelessness women to make positive changes in their lives. In addition to supporting the Services Manager with the day to day running of the centre the role holder will have line management responsibility for the Women’s Project Worker team.
Experience
- Previous experience of support work that effectively engages individuals with opportunities for self development.
- Experience of supporting vulnerable people with complex support needs to make positive changes in their lives.
- An understanding of substance misuse, mental health and issues associated with social exclusion.
- Experience of delivering advice, guidance and employability support to individuals.
- Knowledge of local volunteering and informal learning opportunities.
- Knowledge of local services for homeless and vulnerably housed people.
- Experience of managing projects providing opportunities for placements and personal development.
- Experience of volunteering and supporting vulnerable people to volunteer.
Skills
- Effective IT skills including Word, Excel & Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong co-ordination and organisational skills.
- A constructive, flexible and positive approach towards working with vulnerable excluded people.
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours including weekends as and when needed.
This role requires an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Role Description
Role Purpose
As a Programme Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless execution of all student-related events. This role involves gaining a comprehensive understanding of SEO London and SEO Europe’s programmes, the relevant industries and integrating this knowledge within our organisation. You will liaise with students and partner firms to organise, execute, and promote successful events. In collaboration with the team, you will provide recommendations for enhancements and innovations to improve the student experience, while upholding a high standard of customer care.
French language is required: we are seeking a professional with a strong work ethic, who is adept at fostering robust working relationships and taking initiative in developing organisational processes. A thorough understanding of the French academic system and a genuine commitment to diversity and social mobility are essential.

- SEO Europe Finance Academy: A 1-week immersive event taking place in Paris and designed to educate and train students intending to secure summer and off cycle internships and providing them with authentic exposure to top employers while demystifying the industry landscape and application process.
- Student outreach: The Programme Coordinator will be responsible for implementing exciting outreach campaigns, namely, to help us recruit more students from engineering schools and public universities in France
- There will be occasional trips to Paris to deliver in-person events and execute our student outreach strategy
Accountabilities
There are three main activities within the France team:
- Outreach (student recruitment),
- Programme Delivery (education and training events for students),
- Business development (attracting new sponsors)
The Programme Coordinator will serve as the administrative officer for the team. You will support the France team as needed and have specific responsibilities for identifying and onboarding students at business schools, engineering schools and universities across France, both online (social media, email marketing, webinars) and offline (in-person campus events and sponsored events). You will also play a key role in executing our social media strategy and managing our presence on platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
Responsibilities include:
- Overall administration of student events, ensuring exceptional communication and coordination.
- Event management, student and partner communication, and coordination of all relevant stakeholders.
- Posting job opportunities on our student portal and creating content for our newsletter.
- Managing student queries and maintaining relationships.
- Coordinating outreach programmes and managing our Student Ambassador network.
- Identifying and onboarding students, managing relationships with academic institutions and partners.
- Maintaining working documents, event calendars, and reports.
- Thinking creatively to improve outreach programmes and manage social media platforms.
Quality Assurance
- Ensuring all information and student data is managed within GDPR guidelines and updated in Salesforce.
- Running reports to track and monitor events from the CRM.
Required qualifications
- University degree (any discipline)
Candidates without the required qualification will be considered if they have at least 1 year of relevant and relatable work experience in a similar role.
