IMPACT COORDINATOR SOUGHT
FOR RESTORATION PROJECT ON REMOTE ISLAND
We are a large-scale, dynamic, and forward-thinking restoration and hospitality project in the Northwest Highlands with strong philanthropic and community commitments. The heart of our operation is on a remote and beautiful 800-acre island, where we are delivering stunning, sympathetic builds and authentic guest experiences in an area of outstanding scenery.
We run a monitoring programme to capture our social and environmental impact and effectiveness across a range of indicators and are looking for an enthusiastic, creative person to help with this work and become our Impact Coordinator. Our chief areas of charitable engagement include Education, Rural and Community Regeneration, Arts, Culture, Heritage and Science, Environmental Protection and Improvement, and Health and Wellbeing.
The purpose of this role will be the accurate measurement of the effectiveness and social value of the projects we deliver for our owning Charitable Trust. Our Impact Coordinator will work with our internal and external impact team to measure the social value of past, present and future projects, with strategic guidance and support from our leadership team, external advisers, and Trustees.
Storytelling
This role will suit a graduate with degrees, or equivalent experience, in the Social Sciences, Sustainable Development, Management or related fields. This is an opportunity for an ambitious candidate to jump straight into a well-supported role on a big project and produce well-presented, evidence-based stories about the project’s impact using numbers, text, and multimedia for a variety of different audiences.
Data
We gather social value data and KPIs, and have a burgeoning collection of testimonials, feedback, and imagery. We need someone to help build and maintain our qualitative and quantitative data library. This will very much be a “doing” role, involving time spent with spreadsheets and reports, as well as time spent with the team helping them with the same. We are collating the story of the project to date for a key report in Q1 2025.
Community
Our team is diverse, driven, and comes from across the country and further afield. We have our own growing island community of staff and guests, while also being embedded in mainland life in nearby crofting townships and villages. There are opportunities for working with different teams, sailing heritage boats, hosting guests, educating school pupils, and supporting projects on the mainland.
We are looking for a capable, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills who will thrive on a challenging project. We anticipate out-of-the-box thinking and self-presentation from the get-go. Training and development will be offered to the right candidate. The salary range for this role will be £25-£35kpa depending on experience. We will be happy to discuss flexible shift patterns and shared accommodation with the right candidate.

Leadership, line management and training [25%]

- Manage and develop the Lead Coach and Graduate Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development. This includes weekly 1:1s, performance reviews and regular feedback
- Equip your team to drive change through a data informed approach, and keep them accountable to agreed targets for the Spear Programme
Relationship management [20%]
- Manage great relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including referrers, local businesses, donors, and your Board of Trustees
- Embed into your local church; working closely with your Spear Trustees and congregation, and actively participating in their mission and events
- Partner with the Spear Trustees and assist in implementing their funding strategy by helping to build corporate and donor relationships. For example, by hosting prospective donors in the Training Room
Delivery of the Spear Programme [20%]
- Support group and 1-1 coaching with numerous 16-24-year-olds: equipping them with practical work-ready skills and resilient mindsets
- Provide guidance to the Lead Coach in the training room when dealing with behavioural and safeguarding situations and upskill coaches with consistent coaching feedback
- Use a coaching approach to engage young people in challenging conversations that will enable them to take responsibility and over significant barriers to employment
Operations [10%]
- Liaise with relevant staff regarding site operations and work to resolve any issues as soon as possible, ensuring the office and training room are safe and tidy working spaces in line with health and safety policies

Role Summary
The Programme Coordinator (South-West) is a key point of contact for the Into Film Programme in England and delivers Into Film’s Programmes and projects both face to face and online with a bespoke approach for the south west.
Due to the nature of the role, occasional weekend and extended working hours are required, along with regular travel to designated regions and occasional travel elsewhere in the UK.
Main Responsibilities:
- To deliver various elements of the new Into Film programme in the south west including, but not limited to, CPD/training for teachers at all career stages, events, conferences, round tables, Teachmeet style gatherings and teacher panels both online and face to face
- To develop, sustain and be the local point of contact for schools, partners, individuals and organisations that add value or are users of the Into Film programme including a focus on EEDI and how Into Film can specifically, positively reach and include those who are underserved and underrepresented.
- To feed into and then deliver the plans in England across the programme (including Teaching with Film, Careers and Progression and Young Creatives (plus Into Film Festival, Into Film Awards and additionally funded programmes, as needed)
- To work with all departments at Into Film to ensure a joined-up approach and delivery of set outcomes, KPIs whilst adhering to budgets and deadlines
- To ensure reach across the south west and to feed into UK wide work and awareness of Into Film Programmes responding where possible to local needs

About the role
We’re looking for a communications coordinator to create and deliver compelling content, which brings our strategic objectives to life, to further enhance SIA’s standing as the expert guiding voice for life after spinal cord injury.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Service delivery

Ensure that all aspects of Rahab’s project activities are planned, organized and undertaken to fulfil their objectives within their required timelines.

Develop, organize, and maintain project documentation, plans, reports, and other project-related documents to monitor and track overall progress, outputs and achievement of milestones.

Work with the team to identify and engage in new professional relationships with key organisations across different sectors, and maintain our existing networks of contacts, to (i) develop and expand Rahab’s activities and reach, and (ii) foster collaboration.

Represent Rahab in multi-agency working groups, meetings, and forums, sharing knowledge and learning, publicising services available and how to access support.

About the Service
The Crisis Centre and rest of Nightlight Services (Café’s, Helpline, Daylight provision) is proud to provide urgent support, crisis intervention and emotional support to people experiencing a mental health crisis in Hertfordshire as an alternative to statutory pathways. We provide support to adults across Hertfordshire 7 days a week, 365 days a year through our helpline, crisis cafes and 24/7 Crisis Centre. We aim to provide a safe space for people in crisis to talk and feel supported, be listened to without judgement, access relevant support with problem solving and facilitate access to external services when necessary.
As a member of our diverse team, you will work closely with service users in crisis by using a person-centred approach to ensure that each individual is supported with dignity and respect. By honouring the individual experience of each service user, we are able to respect their autonomy as well as encourage and facilitate positive steps towards management of crisis and recovery.
About the Role
Alongside other Crisis Centre Coordinators, to be a key member of the Crisis Centre team, providing effective operational leadership delivering the Nightlight Mental Health Crisis Centre Service. You will be ensuring the delivery and development of quality crisis support services and instilling Hertfordshire Mind Network’s values throughout the provision. You will provide management support to Crisis Centre Mental Health Support Workers and support the Crisis Centre Team Leader in ensuring practice within the service is safe, effective and person centred.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing emotional support and developing, alongside service users, flexible and realistic crisis support/person-centred plans within agreed guidelines with support from the leadership team (including assessments of need, risk, crisis support plans and review forms) in person or via telephone.
- Draw upon own lived experience as appropriate to inform the delivery of person centred support.
- Providing immediate advice and information to clients to support with crisis presentations.
- Liaise with Nightlight management and external services e.g. police, ambulance service, Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team, Single Point of Access, Safeguarding Out of Hours Service, Mental Health Liaison Teams, Adult Community Mental Health Services etc. as needed in terms of accepting referrals and proactively recognising the indicators of deteriorating mental health and facilitating appropriate support.
- Complete appropriate signposting/onward referrals to both internal and external services in accordance with identified needs and risks.
- Ensuring record keeping is maintained to the required standards at all times and contributing to service monitoring requirements.
- Arranging transport for service users to facilitate access to services as needed.
- You will line manage a number of Crisis Centre Mental Health Support Workers and be part of the operational management for the Nightlight Crisis Centre.

A team of part-time student staff call 1000’s of students each term, supporting them to navigate University life, services and GSU. The Role
This Casework Coordinator role is based within the Services Directorate. In part, this directorate focuses its support on refugees who have been recognised as having protection needs and have been granted permission to stay in the UK but are now struggling to rebuild their lives in a new and unfamiliar country. Many need advice and guidance in areas such as housing, health, welfare support, education/training and employment.
The Refugee Council’s Private Renting Scheme is based in London and has been delivering specialised support to new refugees wanting to access private rented accommodation in London since 2012. Working with private landlords and other housing providers our Private Renting Scheme creates tenancy opportunities for new refugees and provides support and advice to ensure tenancies are suitable and sustainable.
The postholder will work with private landlords and other housing providers to secure tenancies for clients. The postholder will also provide casework support to clients, ensuring they are ready to secure and sustain a tenancy. This will involve providing casework support dealing with the key issues of housing and welfare benefits.
The Casework Coordinator will work closely with others to ensure we effectively manage and support our caseload of clients and run an effective advice service. This role will take responsibility for the progression of its own caseload with the support of volunteers.

- To provide face to face advice and support to adult refugees in a sensitive, confidential and professional manner which fully understands the needs of the individual.
- To create links and work effectively with private landlords and other housing providers (such as housing associations, housing cooperatives, low needs housing providers) to create accessible, suitable and sustainable tenancy options for clients.
