Purpose of the role
The purpose of this role is to increase the fundraising capability of The Vitiligo Society and secure the income we need to deliver our support to those affected by vitiligo. It is part of our new fundraising strategy.
Reporting to the Charity Director you will take the lead on establishing a fundraising programme. You will also support our community and membership fundraising, recruiting and supporting volunteer fundraisers and helping to improve and maintain our membership & donation processes.

Your Experience
We are looking for a candidate who has a background in charity fundraising, in particular community, Trust and Foundation fundraising.
Key responsibilities
Fundraising from Trusts and Foundations
Leading on applications to trusts and foundations with input from the Charity Director and delivery teams as needed, incl:

Writing and submitting high quality applications to trusts and foundations that reflect The Vitiligo Society and our members' stories.

Researching potential charitable trusts and foundations to approach for funding.

1MM Mentor Recruitment Lead main tasks include:
● Build, lead, own and execute 1MM’s mentor recruitment strategy

About the role
It’s an exciting time to join CXK as we continue to expand our reach and launch our new 5-year strategy.
We are searching for a Head of Bids, Grants and Tenders to work within our Development and Partnerships Team. This exciting new role will be responsible for writing and submitting compelling bids and proposals that clearly align to CXK’s strategic and operational vision, meeting the needs of our commissioners and funders.
The role will drive income generation and growth for the charity, creating high-quality tender responses on a regular basis, developing a pipeline of current and potential opportunities and proactively ensuring that all business development systems and processes are fully implemented.
As part of our Senior Leadership Team, the Head of Bids, Grants and Tenders will contribute to the strategic development of CXK, working closely with the Director of Development and Partnerships, our service leads, and the wider Senior Leadership Team.
Who we are looking for
This role will require exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and compelling content aligned to a specification, with a proven track record of successfully responding to complex tender opportunities, and grant submissions.
The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of public or the not-for-profit sector and the areas impacting our work, such as education, employability, skills, rehabilitation and justice. This will be supported by proven experience of managing end-to-end tender processes and the achievement of financial targets.

Main purpose of the role
The Volunteering Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the StreetVet volunteering programme. This role will have overall responsibility for recruiting, onboarding, and supporting StreetVet volunteers as well as establishing positive working relationships with volunteers to ensure they have a fulfilling and rewarding volunteering experience.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the recruitment and induction of volunteers.
· Provide effective and timely administration of the volunteering programme.
· Provide highly effective support to all StreetVet volunteers to ensure a positive volunteering experience and offer training opportunities to develop volunteers in their roles.
· Provide regular communication to volunteers e.g. a regular newsletter, to update them on information relevant to their volunteering and keep them up to date of StreetVet’s wider activities, achievements and plans.
· Implement initiatives to reward and recognise volunteers for their efforts and engage with national initiatives e.g. Volunteer Week to celebrate the contributions of StreetVet volunteers.
· Arrange opportunities for StreetVet volunteers to come together and share their experiences of volunteering at StreetVet.
· Work with the Head of Volunteering to implement processes to gather feedback on the volunteering experience at StreetVet (e.g. volunteer surveys, exit interviews) and create relevant action plans to continue with areas of good practice and implement suggestions/recommendations where feasible.
· In collaboration with the Head of Volunteering, provide support, training and guidance to staff managing/working with volunteers.
