Role purpose
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Head Fundraiser to lead efforts in securing financial support to continue our vital humanitarian work. With the goal of expanding outreach and strengthening our services, this role will be at the heart of driving real impact in the lives of the homeless, families/households, refugees displaced by war and natural disaster.
From organizing community-led events and securing grants to managing fundraising campaigns, the Head Fundraiser will play a key role in ensuring our mission thrives. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

- Organize and execute major fundraising events throughout the year.

- Plan and oversee awareness events to further engagement between the charity and the local community
- Work closely with volunteers and community leaders to maximize impact.

- Organize major fundraising dinners and events every quarter, aiming to raise at least £150,000 per event.
- Obtaining licenses and permits from the local councils for city centre and street collections/marketing campaigns, also for the distribution of aid.
- Establish connections with universities and secure permission to set up stalls at freshers' fairs to attract young volunteers.
- Guide and oversee a comprehensive marketing strategy that showcases the charity's core principles and long-term mission, particularly in cities where projects are already established.
- Ideally, the candidate will have an existing network of donors and supporters that they can engage for fundraising efforts.

We are seeking a faith filled, people focussed senior leader offering operational management which includes oversight of our Support Services Hub and staff team and developing commercial enterprise, to contribute to our financial resilience and resource mission.
The Operations Manager will work closely with the Team Rector in developing and implementing the strategy, systems and capacity to enable the parish and its churches and worshipping communities to be effective in fulfilling the parish vision and priorities.
The purpose of the role is to provide strategic oversight and efficient management of the operational, administrative, financial, HR, safeguarding and property functions of the parish. The role includes day to day management of the Support Services Hub and staff team who are at the forefront of support for operations and enterprise.
In terms of enterprise, your role will be to develop and implement an entrepreneurial approach to income generation and financial sustainability. About this key role

This varied and rewarding role provides hands-on support to our helpline and external communications work. You’ll be helping our volunteers offer accurate and empathetic support to the public while also assisting with digital content, social media and outreach campaigns.
Key responsibilities include:

· Helping develop and maintain helpline resources and records
· Creating and publishing content for our social media and website
· Supporting email marketing, digital analytics, and campaign promotion
· Assisting with press releases, stakeholder communications and events

About the role
Each of the Support Network Coordinators have the responsibility for delivering, maintaining, and expanding the support services available to spinal cord injured (SCI) people and their region of the UK.
The post coordinates two vital parallel strands:
- In your region, to reach and support newly and long-term spinal cord injured people and their families developing a strong partnership with all available specialist services, charity and business partners; managing a dedicated team of volunteers as well as providing direct support to SCI people with more complex support needs.
- Nationally, working to facilitate the link between SCI people and SIA and the network of services; referring SCI people and their families to our clinical / health expert support teams and advocacy services; working with the Digital Engagement team to build on-line links to regional partners in your area; supporting fundraising, campaigns and communications.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Building strong relationships – you’ll be talking to everyone from people with SCI and their families, to healthcare professionals, solicitors and partners who deliver key services.
- Identifying opportunities – to expand SIA’s portfolio of services, we’ll need your knowledge of organisations and individuals that provide services to those affected by spinal cord injury.
- Engaging People – whether it’s service users or your team of volunteers, the success of our work relies on you being able to keep people engaged with what we’re doing.
- Being organised – managing your own diary, keeping in touch with your contacts, ensuring your volunteers are being utilised effectively, providing support to those in greatest need, referring to internal & external service providers and keeping records of the support SIA is delivering.
- Providing life-changing support to those that need it most – you’ll be facing up to the most difficult challenges our service users face.
- Making the ask – whether it’s growing the fundraising activities that underpin the charity, securing the use of a venue for a support group meeting, or ensuring healthcare professionals are promoting our services.

About the Role
The Philanthropy Team works with individuals who make significant gifts of money, land and shares to the RSPB and who need bespoke and one-to-one management.
The key responsibilities of this role are: -
- Donation and gift management - ensuring all gifts are processed and recorded so they can be acknowledged in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Financial coding and reporting - including coding and allocation of gifts, and monthly & annual reconciliation and income reporting.
- Event planning and logisitics - working closely with other team members to deliver high quality events and meetings for donors and prospects.
- CRM management and development - managing and updating the current CRM system (Salesforce) for the team (including training) and ensuring it is functioning as required by working closely with the CRM Manager.
- Donor stewardship support - maintaining contact information and databases in an accurate and GDPR compliant way and assisting with the team’s donor stewardship programme and funding appeals (spreadsheets, mailings etc).
- Internal liaison - fostering good relations and cooperation with High Value Partnerships colleagues and other teams.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- Ability to demonstrate the competencies required to undertake the duties associated with this level of post having acquired the necessary knowledge and skills in a similar role.
