The Role
The purpose of the Roma Outreach Worker role is to deliver an effective service to single people who are currently rough sleeping. This post will actively support Roma clients, providing a continued and consistent point of contact whilst assisting them in navigating the various change pathways available to them.

About the role:
The post holder will work within The Passage’s Community Services as a Complex Case Outreach Worker and will lead on case management for people experiencing homelessness who are presenting in the footprints in which the team operate and/or who are accessing the Resource Centre. The post-holder will support individuals with substance use support needs and/or mental health issues and will lead on work with clients who are experiencing alcohol and/or drug dependencies and who may also be experiencing mental health problems or other health or social care needs.
Main duties:
- To manage a caseload of clients presenting within the footprints in which the Engagement & Outreach service operate and individuals who are accessing The Passage Resource Centre. To support clients with complex needs, supporting them to identify and work towards recovery and away from homelessness.
- Carry out assessments, case management, support planning and the delivery of interventions for clients including those experiencing mental health and/or substance misuse issues who are multiply-disadvantaged in their homelessness.
- Provide assertive outreach and engagement with street-based service users presenting with complex needs and barriers to engagement. Carry out monthly street-based audits to inform reporting and analysis of service outcomes.
- Support clients who are rough sleeping or involved in day time activity in the footprints in which the team operate to end their homelessness by linking them in with appropriate internal and external support services relevant to their needs. To provide support to clients who are accommodated, but may require ongoing support in order to maintain this accommodation, linking them in to appropriate local services.
General responsibilities:
- In conjunction with your line manager to continuously develop the role to ensure that all tasks are being undertaken in an effective and appropriate manner which meets the strategic aims and objectives of The Passage.
- To participate in internal/external meetings as required, attend training events, conferences and other functions as necessary.

The Family Support Worker will work across our Young Carers and Adult Carers Service to provide support to families affected by substance misuse, through whole-family assessments and reviews. The successful candidate will ensure that adult and young carers, and their families, have access to a range of emotional and practical support appropriate to their needs.
The successful candidate will have an understanding of working within the substance misuse field and an understanding of associated health and social issues. They will preferably have experience of working with both adults, children and young people. We are seeking candidates with a professional qualification in health & social care, youth or community work, and/or direct experience of delivering family focused interventions.

This Early Intervention approach will enable young people to access support in a timely way within their own community and we will work collaboratively with the Hackney Super Youth Hub enabling a one stop shop experience for local young people.
We are looking for passionate and motivated Therapeutic Youth Workers who are committed to supporting positive change for local young people to join our team.
Main Responsibilities:
· Undertake 1:1, group, detached and outreach work with young people
· Provide one-to-one key-working up to 12 sessions, combining youth work values and principles with a therapeutic, trauma-informed approach to help address a wide range of issues that may impact on young people’s mental health and wellbeing e.g. housing, employment, physical health, education, finances and relationships.
· Use a supportive, young person-centred approach. e.g. explaining what services are and what they do, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date, filling out forms together, making personal introductions, accompanying young people to initial meetings/sessions, being with them during phone calls etc.
· To work with the Hackney Super Youth Hub, to support young people and liaise with appropriate professionals in the network.

· Be an advocate for young people, supporting colleagues to understand adolescence, and how to engage with young people, particularly with concerns around:
o mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.

· QCF Level 3 Diploma in Youth work or equivalent and have experience of youth work in a youth work setting

Campbell Rd Young Peoples service provides support and housing for 55 young people in Tower Hamlets that are either leaving care of affected by youth homelessness. The Support Worker role will be to manage a caseload of approx 7-10 young people .You will be expected to deliver positive outcomes for all our young people and support them to reach independence, keep safe and maintain their tenancy's. Aside from support workers delivering support there is a strong element of housing management associated wit this role, for example managing rents, raising/monitoring repairs and health and safety.

About the role
As a Coach in the Structured Coaching Team, you will be the lead worker for people who engage well with the service and are able to work with you to develop and follow a personalised plan to end their homelessness. You will work collaboratively across departments to support Crisis' mission to end homelessness by delivering services that are person-centred, sensitive and responsive to the diverse needs of Crisis Members. You will understand and promote the importance of evidencing our impact in preventing and ending homelessness. Also evidencing the barriers faced by members to directly inform our Policy and Campaigns strategies, using the Crisis Member Achievement and Progression System (MAPS) and case management standards.
About you
You will as part of the Crisis team, make and maintain collaborative, consistent relationships with our members, staff, volunteers and other organisations.
You will have:

Exceptional knowledge of relevant sector, e.g., housing, homelessness, and welfare legislation.

An understanding of psychologically informed approaches when working with people who have experienced complex trauma and marginalised individuals.

Effectively manage your own workload, including a varied caseload, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities, exercise judgment under pressure and balance competing demands.

An understanding of the importance of protecting an individual’s personal and sensitive data when working with someone’s information.

Bank Support Workers have the ability to accept any shifts available on an ad-hoc basis across from all of Look Ahead's specialisms including Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Homelessness and Young People. Bank Support Workers will provide support to customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet the assessed needs of the customers of the service. They will work with customers to promote social inclusion and alongside other members of the team to promote independent living, encouraging customers to maximise their skills and choices. Within Learning Disability services, this will include providing physical, domestic, emotional and social care. Within Mental Health and Homelessness services they will enable vulnerable people living in a variety of different tenures to manage their tenancies/ licences and move towards greater independence within the community by providing a flexible and individually tailored support package. About LMK
Good relationships shape our health and happiness, yet we are taught so little about them. LMK is a registered education charity on a mission to change that. We run workshops educating young people about healthy and unhealthy behaviours, so that they can avoid abuse and thrive in relationships.
Using film and guided discussions, our workshop leaders support children and young people in honest conversations about relationships and leave them better equipped to spot the early warning signs of abuse and inspire them to enjoy healthy, fulfilling relationships. We explore the 10 signs of healthy and unhealthy relationships and include practical lessons young people want to learn about (like consent) and practice scenarios in a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment.
LMK is a learning organisation and prides itself in supporting leaders to develop their skills. We offer training and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) opportunities, as well as peer-to-peer learning and reflective practice sessions.
Job Description
LMK is looking for passionate and organised educators (LMK Leaders) to run community workshops, aimed at young people aged between 11 and 24. Through engaging, relatable, workshops you will help young people identify signs of healthy and unhealthy relationship behaviours, provide strategies for them to recognise the early warning signs of abuse and give them tools to keep themselves and their friends safe.
The minimum hours required per workshop is 3 hrs. This includes arriving 30 minutes before delivery, 1.5 to 2 hrs delivery and then remaining back 10 minutes and being accessible to young people who would like further information or a one-to-one conversation, surrounding the subject of relationships.
There is also 30 minutes admin, which is usually completed off-site, such as inputting student surveys and a Leader survey.
Responsibilities

Always adhere to LMK and partner safeguarding practices and procedures.

Respond to comms (emails/WhatsApp) sent out by LMK core team members, in a timely manner, to support planning and organising of sessions.

Meet with co-facilitators to carry out pre-session planning, minimum two working days before delivery.

Plan and deliver interactive LMK workshops in educational, sports and community settings in line with LMK delivery style and ethos.

Use your experience and knowledge of the issues affecting young people to tailor the workshops accordingly.

Ensure all youth participants and the adults in school/community organisations who attend a LMK workshop complete the post session feedback surveys.

Complete reflective post session Leader surveys to support practice and programme development, after each workshop.

Debrief with LMK’s Programme Manager and provide ongoing feedback about your sessions, through LMK’s reflective practice processes.

Undertake relevant training associated with LMK’s work including but not restricted to child protection, safeguarding, violence against women and girls (VAWG).

Continue to learn about and develop your skills on the issues affecting young people’s relationships including domestic violence, abuse, adverse childhood experiences, trauma informed practice, gang culture and grooming, mental health, sexual exploitation, consent, sharing of nudes /sexting, bullying in person and online, tech and online safety, pornography.

Provide feedback and co-design training and educational resources on issues affecting young people and their relationships, including opportunities to share your knowledge and expertise at peer-to-peer learning sessions.

Attend termly virtual Leader huddles to remain connected to peers and organisational values, mission, and purpose.

Contribute towards and keep up to date with LMK internal/external communications platforms, such as LMK Newsletters and social media.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Extensive experience of teaching or working with young people (9 to 24 yrs old) in an educational, sports or community setting.

Minimum 2 years’ experience co-designing, delivering and evaluating group sessions, consisting of minimum, of 12 and maximum of 30 participants.

Experience or co-designing session plans and co-facilitating with others; able to collaborate equally with others.

A strong commitment to young people and knowledge and understanding of issues affecting their relationships.

Excellent communication, interpersonal skills with the ability to create a safe and non-judgmental space, that allows young people to speak freely about their relationships and experience.

Teresa House and Hamlets Way are two supported housing accommodations for adults with enduring mental health issues. Both services provide a high level of support to 16 customers on each service. Teresa House is a fast stream service where customers are supported up to two years while Hamlets Way is a slow stream service where customers can expect support for a minimum of two to a maximum of 4 years.
The service is under Look Ahead management since April 2015 and the buildings are owed by Notting Hill Genesis. As a support worker you will play an integral role in developing effective support and risk management plans. You will also support customers with aspects of their day-to-day living including but not excluded to; social and physical activities, medication, benefit entitlements, maintaining living standards, exploring employment, education and training opportunities.

- To work on a rota based shift pattern which includes working early (8-4pm) and late (2-10pm) shifts 5 days a week.

- Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Team Leader/ Manager
