We’re looking for a Senior Research Grants Officer to play a key role in delivering and strengthening our research portfolio spanning translational and clinical research. You’ll lead on the coordination and delivery of the Transformational Research Awards Scheme, support clinical trial review processes, and oversee a portfolio of active grants to ensure funding decisions and post-award management are rigorous, transparent and strategically aligned.
You’ll also play an important part in strengthening how we fund and manage research. From supporting the implementation of a new Grants Management System to refining processes and providing expert guidance to researchers, committee members and senior stakeholders, you’ll help ensure our investment delivers maximum impact. If you bring strong biomedical knowledge, grant administration experience and a passion for driving progress for people affected by blood cancer, we’d love to hear from you.
This is a hybrid role with regular anchor days in our London office, alongside attendance at key meetings, conferences and team events throughout the year.

Purpose of Role:
The Centre Manager is responsible for the effective leadership and management of Ormside Mill Residential Centre (ORC), including all Health and Safety, estate management, operations and bookings. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management

About the Role
We're recruiting a Positive Engagement Worker to join the team in Croydon in a 27 bed residential property which specialises in forensic mental health, complex needs and dual diagnosis. The team offers psychologically informed housing and resettlement support that comes with additional help for individuals’ specific needs. Our forensic mental health step down services consist of four individual sites which cater for high and medium support for both, men and women.
In this role, you will be at the centre of researching, sourcing, and providing various opportunities for our residents. This can include partnering with external employers for employment opportunities, liaising with colleges for courses and upskilling opportunities, or community based projects which residents can get involved in. The role is dynamic and you can put your own ideas forward to bring new ideas to the team to help support our residents have access to wider resources. You will work closely with the rest of the care and support teams to enhance the opportunities available to our residents.
Some Key Responsibilities Include:
- Plan and deliver various activities which includes within the service and outside in the local community to help gain a sense of community and belonging. This can include days out to museums, community events and other areas of interest by our residents
- Plan in service events to bring residents together which could include group cooking sessions, games days, sporting events, and religious festivals.

About the role
We’re looking for a Sports and Challenges Manager (DIY Sports) with strong strategic and operational experience in mass‑participation events to join our Sports and Challenge Events Team.
As part of our dynamic Sports and Challenge Events team—and the wider Mass Participation fundraising function—you’ll play a key role in growing our programme of third‑party sports events across the UK. As GMYN’s Corporate Partnerships and Fundraising Lead, you will generate income from a range of philanthropic and corporate supporters. We want someone who can “sell what we do” and turn leads into impactful partnerships.
As well as building on the existing support and donor network we have, we’re looking for someone who is adept at spotting opportunities and comfortable creating new ones by making speculative approaches by phone, e-mail and in-person.
As an integral part of the Fundraising and Development team, you will work with our CEO and Head of Business Development. The postholder will bring their own ideas to drive the development of new partnerships with donors and business partners.
What you will be doing?
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of corporate and donor prospects.

This is a varied and vibrant position where no two days are quite the same. You will work closely with the Community & Events Manager to develop and bring to life regional community fundraising plans that truly resonate with local people across the South of England and Wales. A major part of your focus will be managing and stimulating growth in the areas surrounding our rehoming centres, retail shops and vet hospitals. You will be championing our classic fundraising campaigns, such as Paws for Tea, while also spotting new opportunities to increase income and supporting our incredible "Do it Yourself" fundraisers to help them reach their full potential.
