About the role
Supporting the delivery of a range of Breast Cancer Now owned events, these roles are pivotal to the growth of the fundraising portfolio and will play an essential part in positioning Breast Cancer Now as the go-to charity for fundraising events. 

The postholder will be responsible for the smooth running of events, withopportunities to get hands on with creating stand out events and supporter experiences.  

About you
The successful candidate will have strong experience of delivering events, with specific knowledge of charity fundraising events. With the ability to manage multiple projects at once, the postholder will be confident working as part of a team and independently to achieve ambitious targets. The role will be really varied, and so the successful candidate will enjoy speaking with Breast Cancer Now’s inspiring supporters as well as negotiating the very best deals and prices with suppliers.

What you’ll do

1. Internal communications (~2.5 days per week)

As our Internal Communications and Events Lead, you will play a key role in engaging, informing, and inspiring our team with what’s happening at Unifrog. You’ll also help us to work even better together, and to retain a happy and effective team.

Your main responsibilities:

• Coordinate our whole team commss

  • Deliver our internal comms strategy, work towards our People team goal and objectives, and use our House Style.

  • Create our monthly internal Unifrog newsletter, writing your own segments, editing other people’s contributions, and evaluating engagement.

  • Collate data from team surveys and work with the People and Leadership teams to put ideas from the team into action.

• Improve the way that we communicate and work together:

  • Share best practice and deliver training on our comms tools (e.g. Slack, Gmail, Asana).

  • Research, trial and introduce new comms tools or upgrades where appropriate, training the team on how to use them.

  • Join our AI working group, whose goal is to support the team to use AI more effectively (e.g. leading training, sharing use-cases from across Unifrog).

  • Support teams with communication challenges (e.g. streamlining comms traffic).

  • Support team members to easily find the best contact for different questions and tasks.

• Manage our existing comms tools:

  • Audit our usage and budget to make sure we’re maximising value.

  • Manage individual and team subscriptions to our comms tools.

  • Help to troubleshoot team questions and issues.

• Keep our ‘Unifrog Essentials’ and ‘Who to Contact’ documents up-to-date, and support team leads to keep our Dropbox folders organised.

• Work with our Recruitment Lead and Marketing team to shout externally about what’s going on at Unifrog, sharing photos and stories on our website and social media. 

2. Internal events (~2.5 days per week)

Now that Unifrog has 115 team members across the UK and beyond, it’s more important than ever that everyone feels connected, both to each other and to our wider mission. 

We currently have:

1. Three whole company “team days” per year (2x in person, 1x virtual)

2. Two “away days” per team per year (in person)

3. Regular socials at our London office

4. Regular remote socials

Your main responsibilities:

• Plan our whole company team days:

  • Work closely with our CEO and the Leadership team to decide on the team day agenda, budget and format.

  • Find and book venues, hotels, social activities, and meals, and make sure everything’s set up and runs smoothly on the day.

• Support senior managers to plan their away days:

  • Advise on agendas and book venues, socials, and training.

  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration (one of each team’s away days is partly combined with another team).

• Evaluate our team events and continually look to improve their quality, impact, and inclusivity.

• Plan remote socials and office socials for our London HQ.

• Support our Unifrog affinity groups - spaces where team members who share common identities (e.g. being parents), can connect, support each other and champion inclusivity.

• Keep our EDI calendar up-to-date, and mark and celebrate occasions important to people across the team, including cultural heritage months, awareness days, and commemorative events.

Working together

You’ll be part of our People team alongside our: People Assistant, People Coordinator Recruitment Lead, People Lead, Head of People Operations, and People and Operations Director (your line manager).

You’ll also regularly work with a variety of other team members (especially line managers) when organising events.

Key details

• £37,000 - £39,000 per year, depending on experience. Grade B.

• Full-time.

• Split your time between working remotely and at our office in Hoxton, London (a minimum of 2 days per week). Applicants must be commutable to London and can expense up to £12.50 per day for travel, up to 2 days per week.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

Strategy, vision and impact [25%]

• Be at the forefront of leading Resurgo’s ‘big picture’ vision of a transformed society, empowering churches to transform young lives

• Partner with the Spear Trustees and assist in implementing their funding strategy by helping to build corporate and donor relationships. For example, by hosting prospective donors in the Training Room

Delivery of the Spear Programme [20%]

• Support group and 1-1 coaching with numerous 16-24-year-olds: equipping them with practical work-ready skills and resilient mindsets 
• Provide guidance to the Lead Coach in the training room when dealing with behavioural and safeguarding situations and upskill coaches with consistent coaching feedback
• Use a coaching approach to engage young people in challenging conversations that will enable them to take responsibility and over significant barriers to employment 

Operations [10%]

• Liaise with relevant staff regarding site operations and work to resolve any issues as soon as possible, ensuring the office and training room are safe and tidy working spaces in line with health and safety policies

About the role

The Analysis Directorate is a dynamic team of around 50 analysts and data professionals dedicated to delivering impactful insights that shape the health and care landscape in the UK. We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Manager to lead and enhance our data management capabilities. This pivotal role will ensure the secure and effective use of a wide range of datasets — including Hospital Episode Statistics, CPRD, and other administrative, survey, and commercial data — and support analysts in accessing and working with these resources. You will be responsible for negotiating data access agreements, developing metadata and governance policies, and maintaining compliance with standards such as ISO27001 and the NHS Data Protection and Security Toolkit. About this role

This is an exciting role that will lead the relationship management of our most important, high value retail brands, without which our service could not be delivered. Supported by the Head of Events & Community Fundraising, you will work closely with the Partnerships Team and the Wardrobe Team to deliver essential client and events stock. In addition to delivering client and events stock, you will also focus on raising money from retail partners, particularly with activations linked to International Women’s Day and Giving Tuesday.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a portfolio of retail brands, conducting excellent stewardship, bespoke tailored support, with a real understanding and insight into the challenges and opportunities within the retail sector, and an ability to influence and negotiate on the charity’s behalf. 

We seek an excellent relationship manager, with strong written and verbal communication skills, an ability to influence senior stakeholders and exceed set targets. An understanding of women’s fashion would also be advantageous.

The Community Fundraising Manager is an exciting role at MDUK, that will sit within the Fundrasing Team. 

In Community Fundraising we are the team that builds relationships with our supporters, families, and event participants to fundraise so that MDUK can continue to find treatments and ultimately cures through research, and to drive improvements in care and quality of life.

The Royal Historical Society seeks to appoint an Events and Academic Engagement Officer (0.6 FTE) to join its professional Office based at University College London. The post will help support and develop the Society’s activities with a particular focus on  academic and training events, networking for members of the Society, and scholarly communications.

The Events and Academic Engagement Officer will lead for the RHS Office on the planning, organisation and successful running of all events (lectures, workshops, training, departmental visits and other formats) run by the Society, both in-person and online, working with other members of the Office and the Society’s governing Council.

As Academic Engagement Officer, the post-holder will be the first point of contact for selected holders of RHS research funding: overseeing and developing communication of project work for the benefit of the wider historical community. Academic engagement also involves a principal role in the communication and promotion of the Society’s work, and that of the wider historical profession

The Events Coordinator Role will be part of the Philanthropy & Events Team, within the Income and Engagement Directorate, and will report to our Philanthropy Events Manager.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Events & Business Development Manager and wider ABN team. The position is offered on a fixed term basis for 12 months.

The ABN is the professional body for neurologists in the United Kingdom. Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of people with neurological disorders by advancing the knowledge and practice of neurology in the British Isles. The ABN is a dynamic membership society with over 2000 members, working hard to raise the voice of neurology at a national level.

About the role

This role supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of ABN events such as conferences, webinars, and training sessions, ensuring smooth logistics for both virtual and in-person activities. Key responsibilities include managing delegate and speaker administration, maintaining accurate event records, preparing event materials, and handling post-event feedback and reporting. The position also provides general administrative support, assists with website updates, sponsorship information, and CPD requirements, while ensuring accurate membership and event history records are maintained.

About you

We are looking for someone with the following skills:

Essential 

• Previous experience (voluntary or paid) in an administrative, customer service, or eventsrelated role.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Confident communicator (written and verbal), with a polite and professional manner
• Able to work independently, manage priorities, and respond calmly to deadlines
• IT literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and online platforms (e.g. Zoom, Teams, EventBrite)
• Willingness to work occasional early mornings, evenings, or travel within the UK

Desirable

• Experience using CRM systems, membership databases, or event registration software
• Interest in health, science, or the medical charity sector
• Experience supporting virtual or hybrid events

• Relevant experience of event planning and production. 
• Proven track record of end-to-end production of high-quality events across multiple formats (live, filmed, hybrid).

• Experience of technical coordination, including briefing and working with AV teams and livestream/filming partners. 
• Experience writing accurate and compelling copy for a range of audiences and platforms.

• Collaborate with Head of Events Programming to deliver impactful, theme-based events.
• Source, invite, and brief a diverse range of speakers.
• Continuously scout for new voices and innovative social change practices.
• Manage end-to-end event production: ideas, scripts, logistics, and hosting.
• Coordinate logistics and team support to ensure smooth event delivery.
• Independently lead and manage event series, including content and stakeholder engagement.

About the opportunity

As an Event Content Manager, you will conduct exciting public policy research, work with the most senior speakers from across government, business, universities and civil society speaker management, and create engaging content.

You would take ownership of a portfolio of 40+ briefings, roundtables, workshops and senior level dinners per year across themes impacting economic growth and prosperity including: infrastructure, skills, net zero, AI and new technology, trade, and regulation.

Your mandate is to deliver high-quality, high-impact events, where you will be required to research key policy and economic trends affecting government, business and society, owning the full production life cycle from policy research and agenda setting to speaker acquisition and management etc. You will also collaborate with the marketing and membership functions to ensure that our policy focus for your events programme aligns with membership needs and shifting priorities.

This role is critical to our membership offer – all our events are highly respected and supported by the organisations membership base and will require a strategic thinker who can ensure that the right policy research is carried out to inform event idea validation. The role will be supported by the Event Operations team who will drive on-the-day logistics.

Responsibilities

Event content development

• Lead the content development and planning of your events programme across our themes, this includes:
  • Build compelling agendas
  • Craft key event outcomes
  • Curate engaging and thoughtful speaker briefings
  • Identify and acquire credible, expert speakers
  • Identify and draw in relevant audiences
• Conduct research on key policy and economic trends affecting sectors across our membership base including market and policy trend analysis, collecting feedback from our members including stakeholder interviews and surveying to inform your event programme.
• Lead the collaboration across internal teams to recommend and develop effective marketing and communication materials to promote the events programme such as landing pages, eNewsletter segments, and promotional campaigns, taking ownership of all event programme deliverables under your remit.

High-impact delivery

• Take an outcome-based approach to your events programme; looking with a strategic lens to determine what the optimal events format, venue, and host would be to drive high-level dialogue among cross-sector leaders.
• Design, develop and deliver event content that you will be able to use to generate insightful event write-ups and summaries so we can continue to add tangible value to our members and their sector challenges.
• Immerse yourself in the sectors by networking with key industry figureheads and build an in-depth understanding of how our themes can drive collaboration across our members.
• Oversee and liaise with the Event Operations assistant allocated to your event and/or programme to ensure smooth event delivery.

Innovation, continuous improvement and collaboration

• Evaluate and report on content impact and delivery against event outcomes to inform future production cycles and increase audience engagement and satisfaction.
• Contribute proactively to programme strategy, using evidence-based research to expand your events programme and/or enhance your event content strategy.
• Collaborate with Business Development team members to optimise member outreach and engagement, leveraging our CRM database to increase our speaker and host portfolio.
• Demonstrate creativity and innovation when developing and delivering our annual paid events under your remit, exploring and recommending different commercial opportunities such as barter agreements, sponsorships or partnerships with our members
• Work with the Head of Content and Events to build out a framework for content reports and publications as part of WIGs 5-year strategy.

• Proven ability of managing the full conference production cycle, including research, agenda setting, speaker acquisition and event management across a variety of themes, including launch and repeat events (ideally from a major conference organiser).
• Experience working directly with senior executives - understanding their motivators, contextualising their expertise and building meaningful relationships on behalf of a brand/organisation.
• Demonstrable strategic portfolio development and/or new event/content idea validation across one or more: International relations, politics, political economy, finance, economics or technology.
• Clear passion for content development, implementing new content strategies to drive audience engagement and interaction and enhance brand awareness and value
• Advanced project management skills including project launch, progress monitoring, feedback and key learnings in one or more environments: charities, membership/training organisations, public sector or third sector.
• Deep interest and/or exposure in policymaking, U.K. economic development and government relations.

• Lead on branding, digital presence (website, social media, newsletters), and compelling storytelling to grow awareness, engage supporters, and recruit staff/volunteers. 

• Develop and deliver campaigns, newsletters, and case studies with sensitivity, ensuring consistent brand representation and co-produced content with beneficiaries. 

• Contribute to annual fundraising strategy, create detailed communications/marketing plans with budgets and targets, and strengthen the donor journey. 

• Partner with the fundraising team to drive income through digital marketing, supporter engagement, donor retention, and data-led reporting. 

• Manage eTapestry records, supporter data, and income tracking, while recommending improvements in data management and ensuring GDPR compliance.
