ABOUT THE JOB

Job Purpose 

We are looking for an exemplary people-oriented administrator to provide administrative support to the Gestalt Centre CEO and the workstreams she manages. An important role in the organisation, working with senior leadership and across teams, in a welcoming and supportive environment with opportunities to learn and grow on the job.

Areas of work and responsibility

• Administrative Support to the Gestalt Centre CEO
• Coordinate and support projects and workstreams the CEO leads on: Operations, Communications and Marketing, Short Courses and Post Graduate Qualifications, HR, Finance, Policies, Fundraising and Health & Safety.
• Liaise with the CEO and the leadership team to update the organisational plan and workstream plans, also keep track of relevant priority actions and progress.
• Provide administrative support for governance processes such as the Annual Financial Audit, Trustee Board meetings, the Charity Commission and Companies House submissions.
• Provide administrative support to the organising and running fundraising activities and events.
• Administrative support and coordination for the annual planning of Short Courses and Post Graduate Qualifications programmes. 
• Organise, provide administrative support, and attend as appropriate, weekly operational meetings, monthly Executive meetings, and other project meetings, led by the CEO. Prepare meetings set up, information and any required papers in advance. Organise dates, taking and sending out minutes and coordinate follow-up actions ensuring progress and completion.
• Liaise with the CEO to prepare, format, edit and update reports and policies for internal and external audiences to a high standard.
• Provide a professional first point of contact for the CEO and as required liaise with her and the leadership team in order to respond to emails or phone calls and organise follow up meetings.
• Office team support such as reception/admin cover or support with events, as and when occasionally required.
• Carry out responsibilities with due regard to the Gestalt Centre values, policies and procedures.

Job Title:                     Trust & Foundations Officer

Chance for Childhood has a vision of a world in which every childhood is filled with safety, belonging and play. We fight for children across Africa to lead independent lives through urgent action in education, health and economic resilience.

Your role.

As the Communications Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the charity’s communications strategy to raise awareness, increase engagement, and grow support for our vital work. You will manage all external communications across multiple platforms, including social media, website, email marketing, and events, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand voice. You will work closely with the Individual Giving Manager and Fundraising Officer to drive impactful campaigns. Additionally, you will play an essential role in promoting and protecting the charity's brand.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following a stroke.

Position: 000007 Engagement Officer

Location: Home-based South West, Hampshire and Isle of Wight. However, extensive travel will be required as part of this role across Hampshire, isle of Wight, BaNES, Swindon and Wiltshire and frequent travel across the wider South west locality (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week

Salary: Circa £17,800 per annum (FTE circa £29,813.07)

Contract: This is a fixed-term until 30 April 2027

The Role

Reporting to the Engagement Lead, the Engagement Officer helps strengthen local stroke communities by bringing people together, championing lived experience voices, and building warm, trusted relationships with volunteers, partners, and healthcare professionals. By supporting local groups, gathering insight, and sparking meaningful conversations, the role ensures stroke survivors and carers feel heard, connected, and supported to reduce the devastation of stroke.

The Development Manager (Grants) leads on bid-writing and relationship building with grantmakers (Trusts/Foundations/Public). The candidate will be a key player in the Grants team alongside the Director of Development (Grants/Major Gifts) and Development Officer. Create has seen its fundraising increase significantly in recent years, as it fulfils its ambitious plans to double its reach by its 25th anniversary in 2028. Preventing cancer, saving lives

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to international research funding programmes and gain insight into how cancer prevention research is supported and delivered?

We are seeking a Research Funding Officer (Operations) to support the delivery of our research funding programmes, with a particular focus on the integration of the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) grant programme into the WCRF International portfolio. This is a fixed-term role for 18 months.

In this role, you will support the operational delivery of WCRF International’s grant programmes across both pre-award and post-award activities. You will contribute to the administration of grant calls, respond to applicant queries, process applications, support peer review and Panel meetings, and help maintain and develop our grant management system. You will also track research outputs, maintain grant records and contribute to internal reporting and analysis. 

You will have a relevant scientific background (e.g. nutrition, public health, cancer biology or a related discipline), with experience working in a research or administrative environment (ideally within academia or research management).You will have a strong analytical mindset and be comfortable working with data, systems and tracking processes, and be highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with a range of stakeholders is key as is being proactive, adaptable and able to work as part of a small, collaborative team.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational and analytical skills who enjoys working with data and complex processes. The postholder will gain a unique insight into the full research funding lifecycle, supporting both the pre-award and post-award stages of international grant programmes. Working closely with experienced colleagues across the Research Funding team, the successful candidate will develop a strong understanding of how research funding programmes are designed, delivered and monitored, while applying their scientific knowledge to real-world research projects. Our School Talks are a key part of our work at Just Like Us. We take hundreds of bookings from schools every year, and deliver hundreds of school talks across the UK with the support of our LGBT+ volunteers aged 18-25.

This role will be key in working with schools to clarify and action their bookings with us, and supporting our volunteers to deliver those talks, working with the Volunteering Team.

Just Like Us is the LGBT+ young people’s charity and works with thousands of schools and young people across the UK through its programmes. This role is critical to the delivery of our mission and will support the Education Programmes and Impact Manager to deliver School Talks so that we can reach even more young people across the UK with our stories of allyship. The role will be working across the Programmes Team, working on the School Talks programme primarily. Just Like Us is the LGBT+ young people’s charity. Founded in 2016, we work with primary schools, secondary schools and sixth form colleges across the UK to improve the lives of LGBT+ young people. To do that, we run several programmes:
● Ambassador Programme: We support our ambassadors to use their voice, develop skills and find community. They also deliver our School Talks programme to schools across the UK.

Job Description

This role reports directly to the Education Programmes and Impact Manager.

Programme delivery
● Support the Programmes Team to deliver our programmes
● Good regular communication and reporting to the Education Programmes and Impact Manager
● Manage the administration of our School Talk programme, including organising bookings with schools, organising volunteers, supporting schools and ambassadors, supporting the whole delivery

The Data Officer for our Finance and Data team will play a key part in ensuring accurate, timely data flows into Dynamics CRM and other platforms, supporting Fundraising, Marketing and Communications colleagues to make informed decisions, run effective campaigns and deliver brilliant experiences for our supporters.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for data, problem‑solving, and improving processes to make a real impact across the charity.

You will be responsible for supporting data load tasks by running pre‑defined scripts and updating source files, while also monitoring routine ETL jobs to identify and escalate any failures or irregularities. It includes carrying out basic investigations into data issues and contributing to data cleansing and validation activities to maintain high data quality. You will ensure accurate and complete imports of data from a variety of income sources into our CRM and maintain clear documentation of data processes, helping to improve and streamline data workflows.

What you will be doing

· Support regular data imports and updates, following set processes.

· Monitor daily and weekly data jobs, flagging problems early and ensuring smooth data flows.

· Help maintain high-quality, reliable data through cleansing and validation work.

· Prepare data extracts and reports to support teams across the charity.
