We are looking to recruit a motivated and talented individual with strong project management skills to lead the delivery of the training function within the BSI. Reporting directly to the Director of Events and Training, and in collaboration with the wider BSI team, the Training Manager will be responsible for the delivery of existing training programmes and for devising, setting up and rolling out new training courses by working with BSI members to develop content and curricula, utilising different platforms from face-to-face to remote learning and supporting marketing of the courses to relevant sectors.

This role is responsible for engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to help identify training needs and opportunities that the BSI can meet. This will include opportunities in several sectors including clinical, scientific and public/patient focused. Using strong commercial acumen, the Training Manager will be critical in the continued development and growth of the training function to generate significant new income for the BSI.

No day is the same with the variety of responsibilities as a Learning and Development Officer at SSAFA. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring a seamless and enriching learning experience for employees, working closely with the Learning & Organisational Development Manager and the broader People team to foster a culture of continuous learning across the organisation.

You will serve as the primary contact for all enquiries, managing the entire lifecycle of learning and development events — from researching external providers to evaluating feedback. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing the Learning Management System (Litmos), maintaining accurate training records, and promoting learning initiatives through internal communication platforms. Additionally, you will support data management and analysis to inform learning strategies and contribute to various development projects.

To ensure you can hit the ground running, demonstrable experience of using Microsoft Office products is essential to complete the range of tasks required in this role as well as accurate data/record inputting.

Role Purpose

Our Communications Officer will help raise awareness of our work with our national partners and stakeholders. Working closely with the wider communications team, you’ll play a key role identifying opportunities to inform and engage our audiences through a range of communications, both digital and offline. Role Description

• Working with the senior communications manager, regional communications coordinators and fundraising team, implement a national content strategy and identify opportunities to share our work, including events and activities, in line with Thrive at Five’s communications aims and objectives
• Plan, write and edit a range of copy, both on and offline, including case studies, newsletters, blogs, infographics, films / video and promotional documents
• Produce content for Thrive at Five’s national LinkedIn channel, including videos, images and text, to support our overarching communications strategy and objectives  
• Analyse national and regional content performance across all channels and explore opportunities to drive audience engagement and growth, ensuring all online copy adheres to SEO best practice 
• Keep the Thrive at Five website up to date, writing and uploading regular news posts and blogs from across our programmes and activities 
• Support the senior communications manager to monitor and identify relevant opportunities for Thrive at Five to react to news, participate in online discussions and share insights to strengthen the brand’s authority

RESPONSIBILITIES

Programme & Operations Support

• Support the coordination of OSH’s residentials, events, and programmes, ensuring logistics run smoothly.

• Assist in staff recruitment and volunteer management with recruitment, interview scheduling, onboarding, inductions, organising meetings and receiving feedback.

• Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation to ensure compliance and efficiency.

• Handle general inquiries via email and phone, acting as a key point of contact for external stakeholders.

Partnerships & Referrals

• Communicate with referrers (such as youth groups, schools, social workers, and community organisations) to ensure young people are referred and engaged in our programmes.

• Support with phoning participants and referrers to support them to complete sign up forms where necessary

• Track and monitor referral processes, ensuring smooth communication and follow-ups with referrers to maximise participation at our events

• Maintain good relationships with external partners such as venues, facilitators, transport companies and other organisations we work with. 

Finance & Compliance Support

• Assist with financial administration, such as processing invoices, logging donations, and tracking expenses.

• Ensure OSH meets data protection and safeguarding requirements, keeping records up to date.

Other duties

• Getting involved in OSH events in the evenings and at weekends, including residentials. These are overnight trips from 2 to 5 nights

To deliver this scale, we work with 73 children and family centres and community organisations, 69 market traders and independent retailers, two fruit and vegetable vans and one fruit and vegetable delivery box scheme. We estimate that our projects have generated a total economic value added of almost £9 million for the local economies of the eight locations where we work: five London Boroughs, Barnsley, Liverpool and Glasgow.   
As part of our new five-year strategy, we want to grow our reach and impact as part of a national movement where Rose Vouchers for Fruit & Veg projects are embedded in local and national policies and seen as a key intervention for transforming the diets of communities across the UK.

About the role
ARC is a data-rich organisation, having made significant progress in our data analytics activities in recent years. Using the CRM Socialsuite , we have developed sophisticated project performance dashboards, which are critical in supporting both our delivery and reporting efforts. Our servers are soon to be hosted in MS Azure, and we are planning to maximise the use of this platform in the coming years.  We have also made considerable progress in evaluating and demonstrating the impact of our Rose Vouchers for Fruit and Veg projects. We have developed evaluation tools and theories of change to measure how our work improves the diets, health, and well-being of children, adults and families. 
As we launch our new five-year strategy, we are looking for a passionate Data and Insights Officer who is committed to social change, health equity and inclusion, and can coordinate and develop our data analysis initiatives, as well as provide research and analytical support for our research and evaluation work.
Working closely with the Head of Operations and the Impact & Evaluation Manager, this role will play a key part in supporting the assessment and enhancement of the effectiveness of our projects as well as providing essential insights to support the strengthening of our fundraising and reporting efforts and project performance monitoring.

• Lead and develop a high performing team to keep RCR Learning at the top of its game.

ECHO supports children and young people with heart conditions and their families, who have been treated within the Guy's and St Thomas' NHS network of 47 hospitals. Congenital heart disease is the most common birth defect and affects just under 1 in every 100 babies born throughout the UK.

ECHO helps from diagnosis, which is often during pregnancy, throughout any treatment and care pathway or bereavement. Families are supported at every stage of their heart child’s journey throughout childhood, teenage years and during the transition to adult services.

ECHO’s new Engagement Coordinator will be confident, self-motivated, and capable of managing projects independently. They will be responsible for building strong relationships with stakeholders, coordinating engagement activities, and ensuring these are executed successfully.

The role requires a proactive, flexible, results-orientated individual with a passion for creating meaningful connections and working autonomously to achieve goals. You will lead with a “Make it Happen” approach to benefit the families we support in the children’s cardiology network connected to the Evelina London, Royal Brompton, and Harefield hospital networks (47 hospitals).

Can you:

Read the room when attending events, meetings, and conferences, with the confidence to share the ECHO story in a professional manner and with a smile?

Lead and coordinate engagement activities: Plan, execute, and manage engagement strategies, events, and initiatives that drive interaction with our community (fundraisers, families, professionals, volunteers, and staff).

Develop strong relationships: Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with internal and external partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration, knowing when and how to ask for support and help.

Negotiate discounts, freebies, and special moments for children, young people, and families.

Present to anyone who wants to hear about ECHO, whether a small team in an office, a school assembly of 500, or an away day for lawyers or doctors. You will design the resources you need on a shoestring budget with limited time but deliver an impactful and memorable presentation.

Bring organisation to the team and operations through admin with a can-do approach.

Key Responsibilities:

· Galvanise support by identifying opportunities, persuading people to get on board and following through to secure trust and buy-in

· Develop a GREAT supporter journey for everyone who donates to us, helping them to maximise opportunities to raise money and spread the word about ECHO.
