About the role
We are seeking a proactive, enthusiastic, and highly organised Fundraising Officer to support our individual giving, community fundraising, and small trusts and foundations activities. The Fundraising Officer will manage individual and community donor activities, and the donor database to support thanking, stewardship and targeted donor engagement. They will also play a key role in monitoring the impact of our fundraising activity to ensure continuous improvement and income growth.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role for someone who is creative, collaborative, and enjoys working across a diverse range of tasks.  They will be enthusiastic and keen to generate new ideas that strengthen supporter relationships and deliver impactful fundraising.

Main duties and responsibilities

Individual and Community Fundraising

• Work with the Fundraising and Communications Manager and Communications Coordinator to develop and deliver three - four individual giving appeals at year (digital and offline) to increase income.
• Monitor and analyse appeal performance to inform future activity.
• Support wider donor acquisition, retention, and upgrade strategies through data-led insights.
• Work closely with colleagues in communications and service delivery to create compelling fundraising content and impact stories.
•  Act as the main point of contact for community fundraisers and local events, offering guidance, support materials, and encouragement. Work closely with Communications Coordinator where needed.
• Lead on the promotion and recruitment of participants for sponsored challenge events, particularly the Oxford Half Marathon.
• Research charity of the year opportunities amongst school and local businesses and support applications as required.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local community groups, schools and faith communities.
• Confidently represent the organisation at community events and manage a pool of volunteer speakers.
• Use our CRM (Donorfy) to ensure accurate and up-to date relationship management records.  

Donor Stewardship and Prospect Research

• Ensure all donors are thanked promptly and feel valued and engaged.
• Manage and maintain accurate donor data in Donorfy, producing reports on donor activity and performance.
• Monitor and manage fundraising and donation enquiries through our development@ inbox, responding and referring them as appropriate.  
• Research new fundraising prospects and initiatives across individuals, community groups, small trusts, local businesses and other potential supporters. Maintain organised records of prospects and recommendations.

Trusts & Foundations (Small Grants)

• Support the Fundraising and Communications Manager and Trust and Foundations Fundraiser with the small grants pipeline, including prospect research, applications and reporting. 
• Work closely with appropriate staff and service coordinators on project budgets, reporting and planning as needed.

Other responsibilities

• Support and oversee fundraising volunteers and interns as required.
• Work collaboratively within a busy staff team, participate in meetings and planning processes, and contribute to organisational development.
• Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role, as agreed with the Fundraising and Communications Manager or CEO.

About the Role 

This is a unique opportunity for a creative and organised professional to lead the planning and delivery of our 20th Anniversary Year programme. The postholder will coordinate a series of flagship events and campaigns including a launch exhibition, community festival, staff celebration week, and anniversary gala. They will work closely with colleagues across the Charity, NUH Care Groups, corporate partners and community groups to bring the year to life. The role blends project management, events coordination, marketing, and relationship-building, with a strong focus on logistics, delivery, and data capture. 

Key Responsibilities 

Programme Coordination:

• Lead day-to-day delivery of the 20th Anniversary programme, ensuring activity is on time, on brand, and on budget. 

• Develop and manage project plans for each quarter’s flagship event and supporting campaign. 

• Liaise with suppliers, venues, sponsors, and creative agencies to deliver events and collateral. 

• Monitor budgets, process invoices, and prepare regular progress updates for the Director of Fundraising and Communications. 

Events and Campaign Delivery: 

• Oversee logistics and promotion for our main anniversary events: 

            - Anniversary Launch & Impact Exhibition 

            - Community Celebration

            - NUH Staff Celebration Week & BBQ 

            - Anniversary Gala Dinner & Donor Celebration

• Coordinate supporting activities such as the “20 for 20” fundraising challenge, digital thank-you wall, and storytelling features. 

Stakeholder Engagement: 

• Support the Charity Fundraising, Marketing and Comms team to engage volunteers, donors, key corporate and community groups.
• Work collaboratively with NUH Care Groups, Estates, Communications and Events teams to ensure alignment and permissions. 

• Support media and marketing activity by gathering stories, case studies, and photography. 

Data, Insight and Impact: 

• Ensure data capture and consent are built into all anniversary activities. 

• Work with the fundraising and database teams to record participation, engagement and income outcomes against targets for ROI.

Job purpose

To coordinate and support the delivery of marketing, events, and outreach activity across Toynbee Hall’s Advice Services, with a particular focus on the Debt Free Advice partnership. Responsibilities:

• Volunteer management including recruiting, developing and retaining volunteers

• Be the ‘go to’ person to provide support for our Area Reps and Street Reps and develop a peer-to-peer network to share best practice across volunteer

• Raise awareness around trees, particularly in areas of low tree canopy cover and where we are currently underrepresented

About Bright Futures UK

 Bright Futures UK supports children and young people aged 5 to 24 whose education has been disrupted due to serious long-term physical or mental health conditions. We offer online one-to-one tutoring, befriending, and mentoring programmes, as well as group activities including hospital workshops, industry events, and advocacy initiatives. You will coordinate the Social Homes for Manchester campaign coalition and implement our strategy for strengthening the housing justice movement in Manchester and across GM. You will lead on organising community workshops and events raising awareness about campaign asks and the Manchester Local Plan consultation process.

You will convene workshops and events focused on building the capacity of a network of ward-based community coalitions to understand housing and planning policy and process. This might include how local development applications are compiled, submitted, decided on; and strategies for ensuring appropriate levels of Section 106 contributions and social rent homes are included in development applications.

You will work with the Social Homes for Manchester Steering Group and community leaders to provide coordination support to at least one neighbourhood planning process and efforts to encourage community-led housing innovations.

You will create a new set of webpages focused on provision of transparent and accessible information on housing need, upcoming developments, and performance against housing targets at ward and city scale.

About Social Homes for Manchester (SH4M)

• SH4M is a coalition of community associations, charities, think tanks, academics and social justice organisations focused on accelerating the number of social homes that are created in Manchester by 2030 and ensuring this is done in an environmentally sustainable way.
• Much of our work over the last two years has focused on generating an evidence base, influencing strategy, and set of relationships to facilitate influence, including through convening the Manchester Social Housing Commission which concludes in December 2025.
• SH4M is now focused on implementing a two-year strategy including building a network of citizen coalitions across the city of Manchester with the information and capacity to hold decision-makers and providers to account for accelerated delivery of sustainable social rent homes. This includes taking forward the findings of the Manchester Social Housing Commission.

About CLASS/Community Savers

• CLASS is the lead convening agency for Social Homes for Manchester. We are a Manchester-based registered charity that exists to support a network of place-based community associations called Community Savers.

Job Title: Resettlement Coordinator 

Location: This role is based in Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC), the service is a short walk from Ladbroke Grove (Circle and Hammersmith) station. Unfortunately, this service does not have step free access.

About the Role

We are hiring a Resettlement Coordinator to support residents who have complex needs and are ready to live independently out of residential support. You will provide practical support to residents who require help with finding and sustaining suitable accommodation and engaging with community based services such as councils, training providers, and local authorities.  Our residents face challenges such as with their mental health, substance use, and homelessness. In this role, you will support them in overcoming their personal barriers to they can move forward in achieving their goals. Our aim is to reduce inequalities and improve access to health, employment, training, and social care.

Some key responsibilities include: 

• Supporting residents to reach their goals, including to find suitable accommodation, through plans, assessments, reviews, and meetings.
• Developing and monitoring move on plans, liaising with partners to provide housing and resettlement support to residents.

The Role

The Finance & Operations Coordinator is a central position in a small, purpose-driven team. The role provides direct support to the Managing Director and works closely with the Finance Committee to ensure that the charity’s financial and operational systems are well managed, compliant and effective.

This is a broad and hands-on role that involves managing day-to-day UK operations, supporting financial oversight, ensuring smooth coordination with our in-country partners, and keeping our administrative framework in excellent order.

You will be responsible for maintaining clear systems, meeting key reporting deadlines, and ensuring that the organisation runs efficiently behind the scenes. The role suits someone who is proactive, reliable, and comfortable managing a wide variety of tasks with independence and initiative.

Key Responsibilities

Finance and Reporting

• Maintain accurate financial records in Xero, reconciling transactions and processing payments for invoices, payroll and expenses.

• Allocate receipts and donations to the correct funds and ensure supporting documentation is filed systematically.

• Prepare and submit Gift Aid claims to HMRC.

• Collate quarterly financial and narrative reports from Moroccan partner NGOs and follow up on missing information.

• Support the Managing Director and Finance Committee with budget preparation, analysis and audit documentation.

• Ensure that annual accounts and financial reports are submitted in line with Charity Commission requirements.

Operations and Administration

• Oversee and improve shared filing systems (Teams/SharePoint), ensuring that all administrative and financial records are accurate, up to date and easy to access.

• Manage the main email inbox, responding to or redirecting correspondence promptly and professionally.

• Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and annual project visits in Morocco.

• Support the Managing Director with scheduling, documentation, and general administrative follow-up.

• Monitor compliance tasks, ensuring that all Charity Commission and internal governance requirements are up to date and properly documented.

Donor and Partner Relations

• Act as a first point of contact for donors, supporter schools, hotels and individuals.

• Process and acknowledge donations, issue receipts and maintain accurate donor records.

• Proactively follow up with existing and potential supporters, helping to build and maintain relationships.

• Liaise with Moroccan partners to ensure that project and financial reporting are on track and shared on time.

Governance and Oversight

• Assist with external audits and reviews, coordinating with UK auditors and Moroccan partners as needed.

Make a Real Difference to Local Families

Home-Start Barnet, Brent and Harrow is a dynamic local charity supporting families with young children through challenging times. Our volunteers and staff offer emotional and practical support to help parents build confidence, strengthen relationships and give their children the best start in life.

We’re looking for a Family Engagement Coordinator to join our School Readiness project in Grahame Park, Barnet. You’ll be part of a friendly team at Home-Start Barnet, working closely with colleagues and partners at Barnet Mencap to support families who are just starting their journey with the education system.

In this role, you’ll help us reach families who may be facing extra challenges or need more personalised support. You’ll spend time building strong, trusting relationships with local primary schools and become a familiar, welcoming presence within their school communities. Your work will help ensure that parents feel informed, supported and ready to help their children thrive as they start school.

The common thread throughout the project is the engagement of families and the parent volunteers, who widen the supportive “community” around the families, and connect the school to the home, and the partners to each other. As we celebrate 40 years of making a difference, The Cinnamon Trust continues to grow, and we want you to be part of our journey! Our headquarters in Hayle, Cornwall, is looking for a compassionate, dedicated individual to join the team as an Assistant Community Services Manager.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

To assist with handling all incoming requests for help, both by telephone and email, to listen to and record the needs of elderly and/or terminally ill people and their pets (ie Owner needs).  To identify individuals outside our charitable remit and refer to other organisations that can offer assistance and always seek advice in the case of doubt.

Where help is required, to raise a computerised record to log the case, task volunteers nationwide by telephone and email to offer assistance to elderly Owners with the pet care and reassurance needed in order to honour our mission statement of “Peace of mind for owners, love care and safety for their pets”.  Liaise with both Owner and volunteer throughout to ensure the delivery of our service.  This post will require a good overall understanding of the needs of elderly people and their pets.

 MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

i. To assist in contacting volunteers nationwide by telephone and email and tasking by telephone as required to help Owners with their pets.

ii. To listen to the needs of each Owner and accurately record information for each Owner and their pet by completion of a computerised case to record volunteers assigned and the service provided. 

iii. To ensure you record all of your communications onto the database in an accurate and timely fashion by way of comments on each Owner case at the end of each conversation.

iv. To help maintain up-to-date records and mailing lists for Owners, Owners’ contacts and volunteers throughout the course of your work.

v. To ensure the appropriate delivery and quality of service provided to Owners when you are handling a request for:-

a) Dog Walking

Task a minimum of two volunteers per case to assist with dog walking.  Contact all volunteers after their first dog walk to check and ensure they have started, log all responses onto the database, then complete the case.

b) Home Checks

When a potential long term fosterer is identified, you will be asked to task a volunteer to visit and carry out a home check.  Once the completed home check has been received, complete the case – (all home checks will be valid for 12 months).

c) Short Term Fostering (stf)

To initially gather as much information about the pet(s) as you can and how soon a foster is required.  Raise a case and log all details onto the database, begin a computerised search for a suitable volunteer to foster, arrange transport, if needed, to take the pet(s) to the volunteer and follow up 24 hours after the pet arrives to ensure all is well.  Keep in touch weekly.

If the pet goes home – arrange transport to take the pet back home, again follow up 24 hours after the pet has returned home with a phone call to the Owner to ensure all is well.  If dog walking or any other assistance is needed, raise a new case and task the appropriate volunteers to either dog walk, offer Pet Care, reassure etc.

If the pet(s) goes into long term foster – refer to your line manager, once a decision is made, then follow the protocols for Long Term Fostering see below.

d) Long Term Fostering (ltf)

Raise a Long Term Foster Case, if needed, identify and chat to potential individuals, all of whom must already be home checked, run through the home check with the person to identify any changes, refer to your line manager, once the right individual is selected, arrange transport to take the pet(s) to their new ltf home.  Once the pet(s) have arrived, follow up 24 hours later to ensure all is well.

e) Pet Care

When required, task a volunteer to visit a Owner and offer pet care, whether it is to administer medicine, groom, clean out a litter tray, bird cage, reassure, or any other pet care as agreed with your line manager as this is not an exhaustive list.

f) Talks

To task a volunteer to give a talk, attend an event, or represent The Trust but always take advice from your line manager with regard to appropriate volunteers for these tasks.

v. To liaise with all other members of The Trust to help maintain a quality service.

vi. To contribute to the team by helping to update volunteer and Owner cases in the course of your communications.

vii. To help maintain filing and filing systems related to your work.

viii. To liaise with all other staff of The Trust in a flexible manner.

ix. To liaise with all Owners and members of the general public in a polite and helpful way.

x. To be familiar with and adhere to procedures and protocols, disciplinary and applicable rules and ensure compliance with legislations (Health and Safety, Data Protection, especially the privacy of members, Owners and volunteers alike).

xi. At all times to ensure and maintain a compassionate, professional and efficient public image for The Trust.
