This role will steward fundraising teams of significant sizes across a wide portfolio of events including runs, cycling and challenges.
To be successful as the Senior Events Fundraiser you will have proven experience of working on large scale fundraising events. This person will be comfortable building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be able to deliver excellent supporter stewardship. You will ideally have experience in marketing and promoting events, and be able to work with a team to develop and deliver successful projects.
This role is a full-time permanent position that will have hybrid working in their Edinburgh offices.

Senior Community and Events Fundraiser, an excellent opportunity to join a long-standing regional Hospice, with Head Office based in Surrey area.
- This role can be either Full-Time (37.5 hours a week) or Part-Time (30 hours a week).

As the Senior Community and Events Fundraiser, you will work with the Community and Events Lead, and be responsible for ensuring the delivery of the community and events fundraising plans and activities. Key Responsibilities for ensuring the delivery of community and events fundraising plans and activities:

To be successful in this Senior Community and Events Fundraiser role, you will have gained skills and experiences in the following areas;

About the Role
Working within a small fundraising team, the Partnerships and Event Fundraiser will make a significant contribution to securing a legacy for thousands of local young people through the generation of new income. This income generation is broken into two programmes: the Community Fundraising programme and the SME Corporate Partnerships programme, both of which you'll be involved in. As Partnerships and Event Fundraiser, you'll be working across a number of projects and events to engage with businesses about creative ways in which they can support the Hive Youth Zone.
The Community programme will encourage the local community to fundraise for the Hive through approaching schools, groups, and associations, and recruiting participants for events. The SME Corporate Partnerships programme will encourage businesses to donate up to £1000 through initiatives such as Charity of the Year applications, staff fundraising initiatives, and recruiting support from smaller local businesses. You will also support and inspire existing corporate partners as part of your role.
About You
This role is a perfect opportunity for a fundraiser, with a proven track record of securing funds via community and corporate fundraising, to set up a new Community programme at the Hive. We are also very much open to candidates from a sales, marketing, and account management background, as well as candidates with events and projects experience. Heritage of London Trust restores the buildings and monuments that tell the story of the city and the people who live within it. Founded over 40 years ago, our mission was to rescue characterful and neglected historic sites all across the city. We focus on sites at risk in areas of least investment - in local communities that most need our help - ensuring a sustainable future for every project we work on. To date, we have restored nearly 800 sites across London.
In 2020 we launched our ground-breaking Proud Places youth programme to inspire and engage young people with the world around them, helping them develop knowledge and skills now and for the future. We work with mainstream schools across London and are the only UK heritage organisation to specialise in working with excluded pupils, young people at risk of gang exploitation and young refugees. To date we have worked with 6,000 young people and the programme continues to expand.
As our programme work has grown, so has our team and investment into our fundraising capability. We are now looking for a dedicated fundraiser who will help us build on our relationship based fundraising activity to grow our income. The Head of Philanthropy is a new role reporting to the Chief Executive.
We have a great pipeline of corporate partners, opportunities with charitable foundations and attractive offers for our dedicated group of high-value supporters to experience our work up close. Our Board of Trustees are committed and well connected, many of them are generous personal donors. We steward our supporters through a series of high-quality events such as intimate lunches, VIP behind-the-scenes visits, site based workshops and expert-led conferences.
We are looking for a Head of Philanthropy who shares our ambition and drive and is excited to work closely with a dedicated and collaborative team while enjoying autonomy to build on our great work to date. Based in a vibrant newly developed impact-hub for charities who work with young people, this role will work in partnership with senior peers in communications and programmes, alongside a fundraising assistant and the Chief Executive, who herself was a professional fundraiser.

About the Charity
NOAH Enterprise is a charity which seeks to help the most disadvantaged in the local community, providing a practical, empowering and caring service to people who are struggling against homelessness and exclusion and have nowhere else to turn.
Dedicated to recognising the potential in people who are at the margins of society and helping them realise it, the organisation works with the whole person to find permanently and individually tailored pathways out of homelessness.

About the role
As the first Marketing and Communications Manager to join the organisation, you'll be part of the organisation's focus on investment in key roles to help create a sustainable future for the organisation as they diversify their audiences and scale up their services. Working with a fantastic and hugely experienced Head of Fundraising and Community Engagement, you'll be joining the organisation alongside a new Community and Events Fundraiser and will work to raise the profile of the charity through a mix of traditional and digital marketing.
Core responsibilities within the role will include:
* Implementing and managing the construction, content, and regular updates of NOAH's online platforms, including website, social media, and email marketing campaigns.
* Copywriting to create documents, literature, case studies and press releases
* Design skills utilised for the creation of marketing materials
* Developing the website, and maximising its potential
* Lead the delivery of the Marketing and Communications Strategy to raise NOAH's profile and reach across Beds, Bucks, & Herts.
* Safeguard the reputation and brand of the charity.
* Leads the development of digital and print materials to support all areas of the charity such as annual report, quarterly newsletter, general advertising
* Responsible for development of social media strategy in line with charity goals, including managing content planner and managing social media channels on a day-to-day basis, using social media tools such as Hootsuite
* Liaises with local and national press including creating press releases and arranging radio interviews
* Manages the relationship and co-production with 3rd party marketing agencies
This role will suit someone ambitious and proactive who is excited about the opportunity to create a marketing and communications plan and deliver that in an environment where they are free to try new ideas, innovate and collaborate with engaged colleagues, and see ideas come to fruition.

* Previous demonstrable experience gained within a marketing and communications role
* Demonstrable experience in creating content for social media, digital marketing, social media management and traditional marketing methods
* Good level of technical knowledge and experience of relevant platforms - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, WordPress
* Experience in responding to enquiries, comments, and feedback on social media
* Knowledge and experience of the optimisation of social media channels, primarily Facebook, Instagram and Twitter Experience maintaining, updating, and managing a website, ideally using WordPress
* An excellent command of English language, grammar and spelling for accurate copywriting and proofreading
* Excellent communication skills
* Understanding of General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) with knowledge of legislation and law relevant to marketing
* A passion for identifying and sourcing interesting stories and writing engaging content
* Highly organised, with good time management skills and the ability to prioritise well

The Role

The Senior Philanthropy Manager will line manage the Philanthropy Officer, supporting their development and fostering an overall culture of collaboration and high performance.
