To establish and develop employer relationships to source and promote suitable, quality vacancies and vocational opportunities for all Service Leavers (Sl), (including CTP Assist and Early Service Leavers), Veterans, Reservists and Spouses on other Forces Employment Charity (FEC) programmes.

The Role

As Fundraising Manager, you will play a proactive, hands-on role in driving Business Launchpad’s fundraising activity. You will be responsible for building and qualifying a fundraising pipeline and securing income from trusts, foundations, and statutory funders.

The role requires strong research skills, attention to detail, and the ability to craft compelling cases for support that demonstrate our impact. You will work closely with the Marketing and Impact & Evaluation teams to align messaging, evidence, and storytelling, ensuring funders clearly see the difference their support makes.

We are seeking a highly organised and conscientious individual with strong planning and project management skills, who thrives on taking initiative and seeing projects through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising & Income Generation

• Build, qualify, and manage a fundraising pipeline and annual work plan.
• Research, develop, and submit high-quality funding applications to trusts, foundations, and statutory funders.

ROLE OVERVIEW:
 
The Supporter Care Fundraiser will be responsible for providing exceptional stewardship and support to our valued supporters, including donors and volunteers (committee members and non-committee members). This role will ensure that our supporters feel appreciated, informed and engaged with RABI’s work, ultimately helping to strengthen relationships and encourage continued giving. This position is crucial to maintaining long-term, meaningful connections with donors and ensuring they feel a sense of connection to RABI’s purpose.
With a strong focus on relationship management and supporter stewardship, the Supporter Care Fundraiser will help drive the growth of community-led fundraising initiatives. Working alongside both central and regional volunteer teams, this role will be pivotal in supporting RABI to achieve its ambitious £10 million fundraising goal over the next five years.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Supporter Stewardship: Provide high-quality, personalised care and attention to supporters, ensuring they feel valued and recognised for their contributions. Respond promptly and professionally to all enquiries and support requests via email, telephone and post.
Donation Processing: Oversee the accurate and timely processing of donations, ensuring that all records are updated in the CRM system and acknowledged and thanked appropriately.
Engagement and Retention: Develop and implement agreed strategies to engage and retain supporters, including regular communications through thank-you letters and phone calls. Work to build ongoing loyalty and support from supporters.
Campaign Support: Assist with fundraising campaigns and initiatives by providing supporter-facing materials, ensuring clear communication and helping to create opportunities for supporters to engage in fundraising activities.
Supporter Communication: Coordinate and manage supporter correspondence, including sending out personalised thank-you notes, acknowledgement letters and updates on the impact of donations. Ensure that supporters are kept informed about RABI’s work and how their support is making a difference.
Event Coordination: Assist with the planning and execution of events (e.g. agricultural shows, community and corporate events), virtual or in-person, to ensure supporters feel appreciated and connected to RABI’s purpose.
Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate supporter records and provide regular reports on donor activity, feedback and engagement. Help identify trends and opportunities for improving supporter satisfaction and retention.
Feedback and Improvements: Gather feedback from supporters and analyse donor satisfaction to continually improve the supporter experience and identify areas for development in our stewardship strategy.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Fundraising and Volunteer teams to ensure alignment between supporter care efforts and broader fundraising strategies. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that supporter care is integrated into all aspects of RABI’s operations.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations, GDPR and best practice standards, upholding RABI’s commitment to ethical and legal fundraising.
Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations, analysing successes and areas for improvement. Provide detailed reports on fundraising outcomes and gather feedback from participants to inform future event improvements.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments (Marketing and Communications, Service Delivery, Volunteering and Finance, etc) to align community fundraising efforts.

Proven experience in a similar supporter care, donor relations or customer service, ideally within the non-profit or charity sector.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of supporters, stakeholders and volunteers.

We are seeking a new Finance and Administration Officer following the retirement of a long-serving team member. A key member of the SLA central office team, the Finance and Administration Officer plays a vital role in ensuring smooth financial operations and providing essential administrative support for our membership. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, book-keeping and effective day-to-day financial operations, producing financial reports using our CRM (IMIS) and XERO, in addition to administration support.

You will be experienced in financial and administration operations of a charity or similar , with an AAT qualification or matching worked experience. Familiarity with XERO will be an advantage. You will be able to bring understanding of cashflow and financial analysis of figure, working with accountants as required.

You will also have excellent customer service skills and be able to work effectively with all stakeholders from our members, to funders to suppliers. You will be determined and have an excellent eye for financial and administrative detail. Your duties will include general administration and:

Financial operations and record-keeping

• Manage day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate records of all SLA accounts and petty cash; book-keeping
• Process and record all incoming payments, including foreign cheques (into bank account)
• Monitor cashflow and expenditure, keeping track of spending
• Pay invoices upon approval and ensure timely monthly payments (e.g. pensions, HMRC)
• Handle creditor and supplier communications and resolve related issues
• Monitor and follow up on overdue payments with a focus on membership payments

Invoicing and income tracking

• Issue and track membership and subscriber invoices and reminders
• Keep office team informed of payment statuses
• Prepare sales, cost, and profit reports for SLA publications
• Conduct annual publications stock take

Payroll and reporting

• Liaise with the accountant on salary payments; process salary BACS payments
• Support year-end financial reporting by providing necessary documentation to accountants
• Produce regular financial reports and analysis as required
• Supporting preparation of budgets, working with accountants as required

 Event financial administration

• Manage financial aspects of SLA events, particularly the annual conference (e.g., exhibitors, sponsors, and delegates)
• Process and record staff/trustee expense claims
• Support with bookings accommodation and travel for Board meetings

To be successful in this role you should demonstrate:

• Strong experience in financial and office administration
• Knowledge of accounting principles  
• Experience of working with XERO or similar

You'll also help our Delivery Partners and volunteers do the same, both in person and virtually through our trusty MS Teams. When we're doing things face-to-face, you’ll need to hit the road and be there in person to help with programme delivery or programme visits to make sure all is running as smoothly as possible.

Join Different Strokes, a national charity led by young stroke survivors for young stroke survivors. There are 100,000 strokes in the UK every year, and 1 in 4 of these happen to someone of working age or younger. We aim to promote independent stroke recovery and help younger stroke survivors to reclaim their lives.

We are a small national charity that really cares about what we do. We are currently looking to expand our team, and to devote additional resources to support our network of local groups across the UK, which provide vital peer support for stroke survivors in a face-to-face setting.

We have around 30 autonomous local groups, which are all volunteer led.  As the Community Administrator you will work closely with our Volunteer and Groups Co-ordinator, and provide vital administrative support.  You will be responsible for such activities as data collecting, ensuring group documents and paperwork requirements are up-to-date, providing monthly updates and ordering marketing materials. 

You will help to ensure that all our group volunteers receive the support they require, and respect the autonomy that groups have to make their own decisions, while ensuring that they work within the framework of Different Strokes and that they meet compliance requirements.  The ability to communicate effectively with group volunteers and other third parties, by phone, email and through online platforms, is essential.

The role would be based in our office in Milton Keynes.  The willingness to undertake occasional visits to groups would be beneficial.

This is a permanent position for 15 hours per week.  Very occasional evening or weekend work will be required.

RABI supports farming people across England, Wales and NI with expert, one-to-one practical, financial and emotional help, all year round. From confidential advice and mental health support to direct financial assistance, their tailored services respond to the unique challenges of farming life.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

This role is central to how we evolve our volunteering offer. The Volunteering Development Lead is responsible for designing and working with other teams to pilot new models of volunteering that help us reach more people, increase flexibility, and create meaningful opportunities for individuals to contribute in ways that suit them.

Working at the intersection of innovation, collaboration, and project delivery, the role will lead on developing new opportunities for volunteer involvement, creating training materials, and building internal capability to support new ways of volunteering. There is an established level of support from major donors at Action for ME so this is a role that will require exceptional relationship management to retain our current valued supporters while growing this crucial area of fundraising.

Key duties

Major Donor Fundraising

• Successfully develop and implement the philanthropy strategy to secure and maximise funds from high value individuals for Action for ME achieving annual income of £250k+

• Set plans and budgets which will deliver income through major gift fundraising and philanthropic giving through family trusts and foundations, including quarterly forecasting.

• Manage a portfolio of prospects and donors at the £5k to £100k level, to develop and maintain strong and long-standing partnerships

• Work closely with the Director of Fundraising and Development and other colleagues to ensure that plans and activities for fundraising from high value individuals are integrated into the overall fundraising strategy and plan for significant growth.

• Be responsible for our Breakthrough-ME Group with high quality proposition development.  Contribution to Group fundraising activities with a specific focus on ensuring their networks support pipeline growth for future fundraising.

• Lead the delivery of our biennial fundraising gala dinner, maximising income and new opportunities from attendees.

• Develop engaging and inspiring opportunities to steward and cultivate support creating a calendar of activities including events, presentations, approaches, networking and meetings.

• Utilise the CRM database (Raisers Edge) to provide the data required to strategise your approach to philanthropy, monitor progress and provide a high-quality donor experience.

• Ensure utilisation of insight & data, producing management information data to inform planning and strategy development.

• With the Director of Fundraising & Development, create inspiring cases for support and resulting propositions with clear budgets and outcomes.

• Create adequate systems and processes to support the major donor programme.

For Us Too (Thanet, Canterbury and Swale) is a local parent driven charity providing information, support and family focused social events for children with disabilities and their families.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Manager to lead this local parent driven Charity.

You will be responsible for leading the team of Family support officers and volunteers with the varied activities that the Charity provides, particularly regarding our supporting education program and supporting families with guidance on all aspects of their child’s wellbeing.

WHO WE ARE

Animal Equality is an international animal protection organisation working with society, governments and companies to end cruelty to farmed animals. Animal Equality has offices in the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Brazil and India.

We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented Operations Officer to play a central role in ensuring the smooth running of Animal Equality UK’s internal operations and supporter services.

This is a varied role covering administration, finance, data management, supporter care, and event coordination. You will be the first point of contact for many of our supporters and stakeholders, providing excellent service while supporting team members across all departments.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Culture and internal support: Act as a culture ambassador, upholding Animal Equality’s values of professionalism, resilience, accountability, and compassion. Strengthen communication between teams and ensure effective use of project management tools. Identify and lead process improvements with guidance from the Operations Manager.
• Supporter and donor care: Serve as the first point of contact for supporter queries via phone, email, post, and social media. Provide excellent donor support, including thanking donors, resolving payment issues, and sending mailings. Maintain supporter and volunteer records accurately in CRM systems and ensure compliance with GDPR.
• Finance and reporting: Process expenses, supplier payments, and support budget forecasting. Assist with Gift Aid claims, monthly data uploads, and finance reports. Prepare scheduled reports and presentations to track progress against objectives.
• Team processes: Support recruitment processes, including application handling, interview coordination, and onboarding/offboarding schedules. Ensure smooth induction for new staff and manage equipment, training resources, and access.
• Events and operations: Assist with the organisation of internal training, team meet-ups, and supporter events. Support health and safety measures for team members and volunteers at peaceful protests, undertaking risk assessments and first aid training. Manage stock and campaign materials, fulfil supporter requests, and oversee mailing logistics.
• Data and systems: Conduct database cleansing and maintain accurate supporter, volunteer, and executive records.
