GiveOut is an award-winning international LGBTQI community foundation bringing together our community and allies to support LGBTQI activism worldwide.

Across the world, courageous activists are working tirelessly to protect LGBTQI communities and advance equality. But they lack resources and funding is fragile, especially in the Global South. LGBTQI groups receive a tiny fraction of international development aid.

GiveOut exists to bridge this gap. About the Role

Grant-making is central to GiveOut’s mission of growing giving to support LGBTQI human rights activism globally. As Senior Grant-Making Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our grant-making programme, ensuring we effectively channel resources to LGBTQI activist organisations worldwide.

Bringing a passion for and knowledge of international LGBTQI human rights, you will have the opportunity to deepen your skills in grant-making, gain insights into LGBTQI human rights movements worldwide, and build meaningful relationships with LGBTQI activists and organisations across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sector Expertise and Insights

  • Stay informed about developments in the LGBTQI movement and global LGBTQI rights.

  • Undertake occasional international travel to strengthen relationships and deepen understanding of partner activities.

• Donor and Grant Partner Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with grant partners through regular communication and engagement.

  • Capture and share evidence and success stories from grant partners to engage and inspire GiveOut’s supporters.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to feed grant-making insights into impact reports and donor communications.

  • Represent GiveOut’s grant-making programme externally at events, including occasional evening engagements.

  • Coordinate logistics for grant partner engagements, including developing itineraries, supporting travel arrangements, and ensuring smooth communication with donors and other stakeholders.

• Grant-Making Strategy and Programme Implementation

  • Help shape the design and execution of GiveOut’s grant-making programme 

  • Ensure GiveOut’s Grant-Making Policy and guidance remain up to date with best practices in grant-making and is responsive to the needs of the global LGBTQI movement.

  • Work with the Grant-Making Advisory Panel (GMAP) to identify and assess new grant partners, and coordinate annual GMAP meetings.

• Grant Portfolio Development and Management

  • Develop an annual portfolio of grants, balancing renewals and new partnerships, and collaborate with the Executive Director to present to the Board for approval.

  • Conduct due diligence on grant partners, draft grant agreements, and manage payment processes.

  • Monitor and evaluate partnerships, coordinating narrative and financial reporting to track progress and impact.

  • Maintain and update the grant partner database to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.

The Jewish Museum London has undergone substantial positive change over the past two years, moving out of our Camden site and moving to a ‘Museum without Walls’ model.  The museum is building a new strategy that will lead its transformation over the next 10 years as it tests out innovative new models for exhibitions, displays, learning and engagement, building towards a new permanent site and dynamic operational model.  Learning and engagement are central to the museum’s future.  This new role will support the learning and engagement team by coordinating bookings, marketing and communications for the team.

Our museum is made up of passionate and expert staff and a collection of over 40,000 objects which are both accredited and designated with Outstanding status by Arts Council England. Our learning programmes hold multiple awards, and our visitor feedback is consistently very high, however, we have much bigger ambitions than our current success. The Museum is looking to expand, in space, in profile and in audience reach. We are looking for someone passionate about our potential to coordinate the day-to-day running of the learning team as we move forward to the next phase of the Jewish Museum London.

Reporting to the Head of Learning the appointed candidate will have the organisational and administrative skills to ensure the team can effectively deliver programmes for schools, families and communities as well as taking a lead on communicating the museum’s activity through social media, newsletters and the website.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

The main role of the Learning and Communications Coordinator will be to administrate the activities of the learning department, in particular our flagship programme of schools workshops both in person and digitally. Excellent communication skills are required as this role will involve being the first point of contact for the department, responding to queries, liaising with teachers, taking bookings and sending out pre- and post- activity information.  You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of this busy and creative team by providing, general administration, organisational and hands-on practical support—invoicing, ordering materials and supplies, auditing resources, collating and recording evaluation data and transporting materials and equipment for our outreach, offsite events and workshops.  Digital learning and communications are central to how we engage our audiences so the post holder will need to a good level of social media and technical literacy in order to update learning and events sections on the website, support the delivery of virtual workshops, coordinate the social media working group and create newsletters.

Learning programme bookings and coordination

· To be the first point of contact for all enquiries about learning programme activities and the main contact for liaising with teachers and taking bookings

· Co-ordinate and administrate all bookings for the schools outreach, virtual and broadcast programmes—from taking bookings and booking facilitators through to invoicing and evaluation

· Organise bookings, delivery and return of museum loan boxes

· Audit and prepare the handling collection for workshops

· Close collaboration with the Senior Learning Producer: Schools to assign learning team members and freelancers to workshops including leading on contracting and financial administration of freelance facilitators

· Support with organising and delivery of informal and community learning activities and events including the Curious Minds Dementia Friendly programme and family learning events

Team Administration

· Managing the team’s calendar of activity

· Ensure that bookings spreadsheets and databases including Raisers Edge, Artifax, Excel sheets and Monday Boards are kept up to date and accurate

· Maintain the carbon calculator tracking for the team

· Order any resources, materials, equipment and travel (such as oyster cards, train tickets and taxis) for the team

This is a hands-on role for an experienced organiser who will lead key aspects of our community organising practice. We're looking for a Senior Support coach to join our team which focus on supporting residents with OPD (Offender Personality Disorder) and related cognitive or behavioural challenges, many of whom have experienced institutional care or social exclusion. You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the service, acting as a mentor and lead for the team, providing advice and guidance, as well as providing specialist expertise to the team and residents. 

You will further deliver one-to-one support with residents directly, developing personalised support plans, risk assessments, facilitating life skills sessions, and help individuals access services, resources, and opportunities within the community. FTWW is looking for a full-time Volunteer and Community Coordinator! The successful candidate will strengthen community activity by engaging with external stakeholders and members of the public, increasing our reach and volunteer numbers. They will ensure that volunteers are supported and equipped to participate in a wide range of activities, both in-person and online.

The role is full-time home-based within Wales, with occasional travel to events and meetings, so a driving licence and access to a car would be an advantage.

We are a small but mighty charity where no two days are the same. You may be involved in facilitating an online coproduction event one day and speaking at the Senedd the next so excellent communication skills are a must. We currently have over 90 registered volunteers and a key part of the role will be to develop our volunteer programme.  As a small team, you will also support our part-time Engagement Coordinator, so there will be plenty of opportunity to demonstrate your creative skills too.

We’re looking for a strategic, innovative and proactive Communications and Marketing Lead to drive forward Save the Rhino’s communications across all touch points, delivering our ambitious five-year strategy. As a member of the Senior Management Team, this role is key to shaping our public voice, strengthening our organisation’s brand and driving greater awareness and engagement with rhino conservation.

This is a broad and influential role for an experienced communications and marketing professional to amplify our core conservation messaging alongside our fundraising campaigns. You’ll oversee all aspects of external communications including messaging, media, PR, digital, campaigns and brand. At Housing Justice, we unite communities to support people experiencing homelessness, helping them build personal connections that pave the way out of homelessness.
