As the UK’s leading university access organisation, our staff team is helping 56,000 young people each year at its 44 learning centres and extension projects across England and Scotland, and we plan to scale-up our provision to 50 centres over the coming years.

We are looking for a high-calibre candidate who will enjoy working each day with young people and who will thrive in a frontline, community-based, fast-paced and rewarding role. You will be taking up a permanent role as Centre Leader at one of our IntoUniversity centres in London. You will have responsibility for running your IntoUniversity centre, including managing your team, planning and delivering the programme, liaising with external stakeholders and meeting  IntoUniversity’s targets for delivery.

A substantial element of this role is delivering our education programme to children and young people aged 7-18, so you will need to have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for working with young people, including leading a class of 30 from the front, working with small teams of children and providing one-to-one support.

Centre Leaders are based at one of our IntoUniversity learning centres and work directly with young people, schools and families on a daily basis. It is therefore not a hybrid role and is based full-time in our centres

Location

We currently have positions at our Bow and East Ham centres.

The role requires intermittent travel in your region (usually within the day). Periodic travel out of the area is also required e.g. to London, this may include occasional overnight stays. 

Salary

£39,100 (inclusive of £2,700 London contribution)

Job Title: Clinical Lead

Location: Based in our Central Office in Islington which is around a 10 minute walk from Highbury and Islington station. You will also work across multiple services in and around London, Kent, Brighton, Luton and Bedford. Salary: Full time equivalent salary is £61,800

Shift Pattern: 15 hours per week working 5 to 7.5 hour shifts Monday to Friday between 09:00 - 17:00, set days and shifts can be discussed in the recruitment process with the hiring team. You may be required to work outside these hours as per service and organisational needs. 

About the role

As a Clinical Led, you will be responsible for shaping, leading, and delivering our Clinical strategy. You will drive clinical excellence and innovation across our services by providing leadership, knowledge, and your skills to upskill and empower our wider teams. You will champion best practice, compliance, and continuous improvement to ensure we are providing meaningful outcomes for our residents and participants. 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Take lead on developing and implementing healthy and safe clinical strategies, policies, and procedures across the organisation.
• Provide expert clinical oversight across all relevant services.
• Lead on research initiatives to evidence the effectiveness of our clinical offer that will provide ongoing evaluations and reviews for SIG.
• Manage ongoing clinical projects, research projects, and audits.
• Provide hands on support to managers throughout resident and participant interactions with SIG.
• Support teams with cases and medication issues, working alongside external clinical teams.
• Complete and manage serious case reviews, in collaboration with various teams internally and externally to complete thorough evaluation and make recommendations.
• Lead on risk management and risk assessments, in line with SIG’s theory of change, carry out strengths-based assessments of need and risk and deliver holistic support and risk management plans, enabling residents/participants to achieve their aspirations and keep themselves safe.

About you

We are looking for someone who can proactively take leadership and ownership of creating safer and compliant clinical services for our residents and participants. You will be able to communicate highly complex and sensitive information effectively, and able to upskill others to be empowered to perform within their roles, with knowledge of clinical excellence. You will have:

• Registered Clinical Profession; Specialist Registered Mental Health Nurse, Non Medical Prescriber qualification or equivalent
• Proven leadership in clinical service delivery within health, social care, or third sector settings
• Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and driving service excellence
• Ability to teach, train, consult, and deliver clinical supervision
• Thorough understanding of risk management and able to share this with colleagues at all levels through training, meetings and one to one support
• Ability to translate industry standards into internal practices, updating relevant people on any updates on a regular basis. Keep in line with regulations and relevant trends
• Understanding of interplay between physical health, mental health, and substance use
• Ability to understand and apply safeguarding protocols as they arise

Job Title: Support Mentor (Nights)

Location: Latimer Road, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) - Walking distance from Latimer Road underground station (Circle and Hammersmith and City Lines). Please note that unfortunately this service does not have step free access

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday between 21:00 - 09:00 on a 6 week rolling rota which includes at least one day shift per week, weekends, and bank holidays. 

About the role

Our residents in this service have experienced long term street homelessness and have faced significant challenges including with their mental health, substance use, and alcohol dependency, and struggled to sustain engagement with support services. That's why they're here, to make a change and gain the support they need to enable greater independence and recovery.

In this role, as a Support Mentor, you will work within a 24 hour service which provided person centred support to our residents. Some key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents and participants.
• Be a present member of the team on the night shift, completing handovers for day colleagues for a seamless service.
• Building trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins.
• Focusing on empowering our residents to take control over their lives and meet their personal goals. 

About you

We're looking for someone who shares our passion for supporting people who’ve experienced homelessness and may have complex needs. Our residents are at the forefront of our service delivery, so building trusting and professional relationships is key. You’ll be adaptable, proactive, and confident using your initiative to resolve challenges, and keep the night service running smoothly. Teamwork is essential and having previous knowledge of the needs our residents may have. Each support plan is tailored to the individual, so you'll help deliver care that truly meets their needs. The Role

As Chief Financial Officer, you will lead the financial strategy and operations of LTM, ensuring robust financial management, governance, and performance. This is a pivotal role on the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), reporting directly to the Director and attending all Board meetings. You will also deputise for the Director when required.

This role goes beyond traditional finance leadership. You will be a moderniser—driving transformation, leading negotiations, overseeing broader business support functions, and contribute to LTM50, including capital programme oversight. You will be the face of financial and business systems at LTM, helping to deliver a future-fit museum aligned with our strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of LTM’s overall budget, ensuring financial sustainability across short, medium, and long-term goals
• Oversee all aspects of financial control, governance, reporting, and compliance with statutory, charity, and TfL requirements
• Deliver timely and accurate statutory accounts, budgets, forecasts, and management reports
• Lead business support functions and liaise with TfL departments including HR, Procurement, Reward, Tech and Data and Finance
• Provide strategic financial advice to the Board of Trustees, SLT, and wider teams
• Represent LTM in financial negotiations with external partners and suppliers
• Champion a high-performing, inclusive finance team—setting clear goals, recognising success, and modelling LTM’s values
• Collaborate closely with TfL Finance to ensure alignment and efficiency
• Ensure all financial and legal obligations are met and policies are up to date and followed

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with a proven track record in senior finance leadership roles within complex organisations, and will be able to demonstrate:

• Experience at Board level and ability to work in collaboration with Trustees and colleagues;
• Understanding and experience of strategic risk management, finance audit and internal controls;
• Broad operational knowledge including digital transformation, estates, and HR;
• Experience navigating challenging financial climates and driving efficiencies.

Our Personal Safety Project (PSP) is a free service which aims to help older people who have fallen or are at risk of falling at home. The service is available to anyone aged 50 and over who lives in the borough of Croydon.

Our trained assessors carry out a comprehensive risk assessment to identify potential causes of falls and hazards in the home and can arrange for stair rails, grab handles and other necessary aids and adaptations to be supplied and/or fitted, free of charge. The project can provide ongoing telephone support for up to six weeks to monitor the risk of further falls post engagement.

We are recruiting for a temporary supporter care officer for a leading social welfare charity , looking for someone to cove workload for the next 6 to 8 weeks. You will be responsible for accurately capturing data across different channels and the processing of all donations received by post, phone, and BACS and supporting the team where needed.

Hybrid working ,1 to 2 days in their office .

The Role
To ensure all donations, enquiries, and supporter correspondence are promptly and accurately processed, recorded, and thanked in line with our policies and within agreed performance indicators.
Carry out the above processes from our Central Office in Ewell on regular basis (in-office work performed on a roto basis, requiring one office day approximately every 3 weeks, as well as 1-2 team days every 6 weeks).
Record and report on written and verbal supporter feedback so that learnings from complaints and positive comments can be implemented into future marketing campaigns.
Identify and implement opportunities to build supporter engagement through creative communications, maximising the effectiveness of our fundraising campaigns.
Maintain existing business-as-usual processes, identifying opportunities to maximise efficiencies where possible.
Work with the Legacy & In Memory Marketing Team to welcome and steward new supporter enquiries, as well as manage processes in relation to tribute funds, allocation of payments and administration of our will-writing service.
Work with the Community & Events Fundraising Team to ensure that income raised on Facebook is processed and thanked appropriately, and to ensure enquiries through the service desk are managed to completion.
Work with the Finance team to ensure delivery of various reconciliation processes.

The Candidate
Knowledge of principles of excellent customer service.

Role Purpose

RISE strives for a world where people can lead safe, purposeful lives as a result of better relationships within families and communities; where harmful behaviour is marginalised and fewer people, are victims of crime. In order to create safe communities, RISE empowers people to break their cycle of harmful behaviour. RISE’s programmes challenge attitudes and facilitate long-lasting behaviour change and are driven by the belief that people, including children and young people, can make better decisions, given the right support. RISE are specialists in designing and delivering evidence-based, transformative behaviour change courses within the criminal justice system and wider community.

The Advanced Practitioner will manage a caseload of 70% which will involve direct work with service users. The post holder is also required to coach, mentor and develop staff and deliver regular workshops to enhance their skills and expertise in specific area. Additionally, there is a requirement to exercise enhanced responsibilities in relation to conducting specialist risk assessments and work with service users and families. Such responsibilities will include the ability to demonstrate enhanced levels of practice, competence/skills in areas such as direct practice with service users, children and families, multi-agency working, knowledge of organisational systems and processes and the wider social policy context.

The post holder will be required to represent RISE when meeting with external commissioners and key stakeholders, as and when required.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery – 70% of workload

• Engage in direct practice with service users, children and families including, where appropriate, co-working with other practitioners (to develop their skills and expertise).
• Use initiative to make decisions to ensure continuity of service delivery.
• Promote and represent RISE Mutual CIC services as required at relevant events.
• Develop excellent relationships with our customers and something like respond positively to their needs.
• Promote high standards of service delivery and lead on internal audits to ensure the quality assurance framework is adhered to.
• Liaise with statutory, voluntary and private sector organisations and participate and facilitate multi-disciplinary and inter-agency working (including involvement in case conferences and reviews). This includes prisons.
• Support the practitioners in arranging cover where there is advance warning of absence and keep the Service Manager informed.

Record Keeping

• Support the day-to-day delivery of key projects.
• Maintain clear records of work undertaken and ensure service integrity.
• Establish and maintain methods to monitor suitability and risk assessments and share good practice.
• Complete specialist risk assessments, and reports and upload on the CRM system.
• Support practitioners to record information effectively on CRM system and follow the RISE recording convention.

Product Design and Development

• Partake in design and development of new interventions, including writing an associated manual and training programme.
• Train identified RISE practitioners to deliver specific interventions, whether this is one-to-one or programmes.
• Be responsible for testing/piloting and familiarisation of new intervention and overseeing delivery of facilitators assigned to the contract.
• Act as main point of contact as the technical expert on the project.
• Attend performance review meetings and deputise if required by the Service Manager or Team leader.

Quality Assurance

• in line with the Quality Assurance Framework, quality assure services and programmes being delivered on the contracts, according to the QA Framework in line with recognised procedures.
• Support practitioners to adhere to a quality assurance framework to ensure there is synergy with the delivery of key performance indicators.
• Ensure effective planning for the delivery of the intervention to achieve quality standards and meet contract requirements.
• Support staff to deliver quality assessments, reports and achieve good outcomes with service users.
• Provide support and advice to other team members in relation to their practice and professional development which may include coaching and mentoring staf.

Evidence & Research

• Design intake/exit questionnaires to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions
• Evaluate the effectiveness of a specific intervention on an ongoing basis, using intake/exit questionnaires, stakeholder, and service user feedback, and adapt it accordingly.
• Support and assist colleagues with the implementation of the Evidence & Research framework for these contracts. Work with research institutions that partner with RISE to contribute to the evaluation of the impact of our new programmes and services.
• Build good thought leadership in a particular area of work delivered within RISE.

Learning and Development

• Deliver training for commissioners and RISE staff.
• Deliver coaching and support workshops and/or Action Learning sets to help staff develop and improve skills, competence and knowledge in RISE interventions.
• Support staff to develop their cultural competence and understanding of culturally informed approaches.
• Contribute to the learning and development of students and others as required. Arrange training, with support from the Service Manager, as requested.

Stakeholder relationships / Performance

• Liaise and share important information with relevant stakeholders and partners to ensure an integrated approach to risk management.
• Liaise with relevant professional agencies involved with the Service User as per data sharing agreements and relevant legislation.

Other duties

• The Advanced Practitioner will also be expected to attend to his/her professional development through training, supervision and learning.
• Undertake other duties as may be required which are commensurate with the grade and nature of the post.
• Cover for other posts as appropriate, and willingness to be trained in new interventions.

In addition to the 50+ young people we see every day out our centre, New Horizon’s Outreach service works with young people on the streets and in the community. The team works pan London to deliver a youth-specific outreach service to young people currently or at risk of rough sleeping. We use our extensive housing expertise to place those young people into accommodation that is appropriate and safe, whilst encouraging them to access the day centre to benefit from the wide range of services we offer. This role will involve regualr outreach shifts (early mornings and late evenings) across London aswell as supporting our clients in the day centre and developing a best practice approach to supporting young rough sleepers and the hidden homeless.

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Strategic Communications and Policy Influencing Lead to spearhead the implementation of the Safeguarding Resource and Support Hub (RSH) communications and policy influencing strategy globally. The position will shape and oversee the programme’s global communications and policy influencing strategies, ensuring coherence across national and global levels.

This role is central to translating strategy into action at national and global levels: working closely with country teams, donors, civil society, and survivor-led organisations to strengthen prevention, accountability, and justice frameworks. The role will align communications outputs to influencing and other strategic goals and making sure national and global work connects. The programme will support teams across Bangladesh, Jordan, Pakistan and Syria, as well as other countries still to be decided. 

About the Programme

The Safeguarding Resource and Support Hub (RSH) is a programme that aims to support organisations in the aid sector to strengthen their safeguarding policy and practice against Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Sexual Harassment (SEAH). RSH supports organisations working in both the humanitarian and development sectors and is driven by the needs of smaller national or local organisations in developing countries.The programme is funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) until 2030.
