The Enterprise Advisor will play a pivotal role in delivering the Inclusive Entrepreneurship Programme and supporting wider enterprise and employability initiatives at the Centre. Community Engagement Officer (part-time/2 or 3 days per week – fixed term contract of 12 months) for a small, growing community organisation based in East London.

The Southeast and East Asian Centre CIC (SEEAC) is a non-profit organisation registered as a community interest company that provides community-based support to members of the East and Southeast Asian (ESEA) communities, especially those underrepresented and marginalised migrants and refugees in the UK. Our website. This is a part-time role to lead SEEAC’s engagement with the East and Southeast Asian Communities. The Community Engagement Officer is responsible for reaching out, building and maintaining a solid network with community members, identifying and understanding communities’ needs, liaising and coordinating with other stakeholders who can provide relevant support and assistance, and supporting the development of communication materials for the communities. The post holder will work closely with members of the SEEAC staff team, volunteers and partners in organising and promoting community activities and disseminating information to the community members and relevant stakeholders.

To be considered for this role, you must have 2 or more years of demonstrated professional experience working in a community setting or a non-profit organisation involving social justice issues (as an employee or a volunteer) and strong organisational and administrative skills. We expect you to demonstrate proven ability to organise events and activities. You also need to have a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to safeguarding, data protection and confidentiality, as well as a good understanding of project planning and budgeting. You must be able to communicate fluently in English and, preferably with a command of at least one of ESEA languages. It would be beneficial if you have previously worked as part of a diverse team and have exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of quickly establishing good relationships to respond sensitively and confidentially to all stakeholders. We would also prefer you to have experience of working directly with ESEA communities or other minoritised, racialised or migrant communities and/or have good knowledge of ESEA cultures. You will report to the Programme Manager and collaborate with all members of the staff. At times, you will liaise and collaborate with SEEAC’s stakeholders, such as volunteers and partner organisations, to design and convene activities that effectively support communities’ needs.

Flexible homework is offered in a hybrid setting, with in-person work based at the SEEAC office in East London. To create a better collaboration with other staff members and communities, SEEAC, however, require all staff members to work in the office or on-site occasionally as required. Depending on activities and event planned, the post requires occasional work in the evening and during weekends within contracted hours. Opportunities for skills development training are offered. This is a 12-month fixedterm contract, on a part-time of 3 or 2-days/week part-time (0.6 or 0.4 FTE) basis, for a January 2026 start. SEEAC’s full-time is 5 days per week (35hrs per week). • Carry out basic repairs and maintenance which could include furniture upkeep, gardening, replacing bulbs, painting and decorating
• Work closely with teams to carry out risk assessments
• Work with external partners for further repair tasks

About You

We're looking for someone who has a keen interest in Caretaking and has an understanding of health, safety, and environment, with the ability to apply this practically to a residential service. You will be able to take ownership of your role and projects, and can work independently as well as part of a team. You will understand the needs of our residents and able to work flexibly to meet tailored needs for our residents and staff.

• Proven appropriate experience in a similar role, this can include housekeeping, cleaning, or handyperson work

The Newham Domestic and Sexual Violence Support Service is a community-based initiative offering integrated support to individuals who have experienced domestic abuse, sexual violence, forced marriage, honour-based violence, female genital mutilation, or violence related to sex work. Delivered in partnership with local agencies, the service uses approaches such as casework, Independent Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocacy (IDSVA), and Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARAC) to provide holistic, person-centred care. Its aim is to not only assist survivors directly but also to raise awareness within the community about domestic and sexual violence and the support available.

The role involves delivering tailored support through safety planning, risk and needs assessments, and one-to-one sessions, empowering survivors to make informed decisions and develop independent living skills. It requires working closely with multiple agencies to meet needs effectively, building strong relationships with community and statutory organisations, and contributing to good practice and policy development. Service user involvement is promoted through events, networking, fundraising, and consultations, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safeguarding policies at all times.

It’s an exciting and important time for our charity as we work to help more people out of homelessness and poverty as part of an ambitious strategy. 

The newly created role of Federation Development Lead will sit within the Partnerships and Federation Development directorate, to support the delivery of key charity and federation-wide objectives, as part of our mission to empower people affected by homelessness and poverty to change their lives for the better while using our voice to achieve social change.

Respite and Care Executives play a significant role in enabling our beneficiaries to continue to be independent for as long as possible and when/if they require formal care, they can support them during this time too. They work closely with the Advocacy Team and the Friendships and Connections team to ensure that all their needs are met.

We are looking for a candidate to cover Maternity Leave for 14 months. They will work alongside the current post holder and the other team members for 2 months to learn the role and take over existing cases. They will form part of the existing Respite, Care and Advocacy Team and work closely with other members of the team as well as other colleagues in the Operations Directorate (mainly Welfare).

An articulate communicator with IT skills suited to working in a paperless environment, you must be able to demonstrate an ability to relate to people of all ages as well as professionals such as external case working organisations, RAF stations, care providers, those who have lasting power of attorney (LPA). You must have an understanding of the social care system and the Mental Capacity Act.

The role is based in our London HQ, with a minimum of three days working in the office per week. The successful candidate for this role will need to be Standard DBS checked and prove they have the right to work in the UK.

About Migrateful

Migrateful is an award-winning social enterprise and registered charity founded in 2017. Our mission is to support refugees and migrants facing barriers to employment and integration in the UK by offering training, paid work, and a supportive community.

Our chefs come from diverse backgrounds, often shaped by displacement, modern slavery, or gender-based violence. Through our programme, they train to lead cookery classes for the public and corporate groups, helping them build confidence, improve English skills, and gain meaningful work experience.

Since 2017, we’ve supported over 110 chefs to deliver 5,000+ classes to 55,000 participants—creating more than 30,000 hours of purposeful employment and community connection.

About the Role

The Operations Support Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of Migrateful’s cookery classes and the overall effectiveness of our operations. 

You’ll play the important role of supporting Facilitators by creating practical guides, coordinating training and skills-sharing sessions, gathering feedback, and maintaining up-to-date documentation such as health and safety records. 

Alongside this, you’ll help manage other key areas of Operations like responding to customer and volunteer queries, coordinating volunteers for public and corporate classes, and supporting process improvements around our use of Salesforce.

A key deliverable of this role is overseeing our invoicing process. You’ll be responsible for bi-weekly checks to ensure timely and accurate payments to our cookery class hosts (Facilitators) and teachers (Chefs). You’ll also support improvements that help us better track the real cost of our classes.

Person specification

This role would suit a proactive, organised, collaborative individual who enjoys variety in their work. You’ll need to be confident using systems, have a keen eye for detail, and take satisfaction in improving processes.

Essential

• Experience working in an operations, administrative or coordination role 
• Good attention to detail particularly in handling data, documents and financial information
• Confident engaging with a wide range of people from staff, freelancers and customers
• Ability to work independently and proactively, using initiative to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Confident user of IT systems, particularly Google Workspace and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
• Willingness to undertake reasonable responsibilities beyond the scope of the job description

Desirable

• Experience creating, updating, and maintaining user guides and training materials
• ​Willingness to provide occasional out-of-hours support
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures, or possession of a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 Food Hygiene)
   

Key Responsibilities

Invoicing

• Perform bi-weekly invoice checks and capture these on Salesforce
• ​Support the continuous improvement of invoicing systems 

Support Cookery Class Hosts (Facilitators) 

• Coordinate the periodic recruitment and onboarding of new Facilitators
• Update and improve Facilitator user guides and training materials
• Maintain regular communication with Facilitators, including announcements and process updates
• Carry out in-class observations and provide constructive feedback to Facilitators
• Provide out-of-hours remote support for Facilitator
• ​Share and implement improvements based on Facilitator feedback and survey results

Volunteer Coordination

• Respond to volunteer queries and troubleshoot the Volunteer Portal
• ​Ensure adequate volunteer coverage for all cookery classes
• Create supporting material to enhance the experience of volunteers in classes

General Operations Administration

• Maintain up-to-date operational records (e.g. DBS checks, risk assessments, food hygiene certificates)
• Complete ad hoc administrative tasks (e.g. equipment inventories, printing and laminating recipes)
• ​Support the implementation of operational policies across venues and staff

Cover and Additional Support

• Provide occasional out of-hours support to facilitators
• ​Willing to support the Operations team during periods of annual leave to ensure continuity of work

Systems and Process Improvement

• Contribute to the improvement of internal systems and processes, including support for Salesforce streamlining
• Office based admin e.g. purchasing office supplies, tracking equipment
• Support onboarding and off boarding of staff members

This is a hybrid role that requires you to work from our HQ office in Farringdon, London four days a week. Please note that you may be required to attend classes or other events outside your usual working hours. In these instances, you will be given advance notice and can claim time off in lieu (TOIL) during the week.

About you
 
This is the only dedicated fundraising role at Transform, so you'll need to be proactive, confident and comfortable working across the full fundraising mix. You will also contribute to the development of our fundraising strategy, while taking the lead on delivering it day-to-day.
 
• Experience in corporate or community fundraising is essential and knowledge of issues such as safeguarding which affect homeless and vulnerable people, would be an advantage.
• Ideally you will have:
• A successful track record in fundraising, especially in trusts and foundations.
• Experience of writing persuasive funding applications and/or tenders.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to take initiative.
