You’ll also contribute to the delivery of Audience and Appeal fundraising strategies, supporting initiatives that engage our audiences and inspire giving.

Context

ActionAid UK (AAUK) is a complex, values- driven organisation which is implementing an exciting new 2025-2028 strategy with one overarching goal:

Decolonise our systems and practices to tackle the root causes of inequality and justice. Four strategic goals will steer our direction:

1. Champion women’s rights organisations and feminist movements driving systems
2. change.
3. Build donor, political and popular support for fair and just systems.
4. Strengthen global solidarity networks.
5. Re-envision and create equitable new ways of working.

Alongside the strategy, a transformation and innovation programme will embed a fundamental shift in the way the organisation operates, involving significant and sustainable changes to its culture, systems and practises. Transformative change at AAUK means change that is fundamental, lasting, and which challenges existing internal and external structural inequalities. These changes will also be guided by our Theory of Change and our feminist, decolonial and anti-racist principles. 

A priority is to change the way we currently approach monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) at an organisational level, looking specifically at how we assess change and impact across our yearly organisational plans and within the four-year strategy. 

AAUK is seeking a qualified consultant or a company to collaboratively design, develop and deliver a new approach to capturing change and impact at ActionAid UK, moving the organisation away from traditional types of metrics and methods.

We are looking for you to conduct a light-touch review of our current organisational methods and tools and develop a new organisational transformative change framework, training workshop and action plan. We would like this consultancy to:

• Develop an approach to capturing transformative change and impact over time which captures gradual/incremental or exponential changes.
• Capture systematic changes and shifts in thinking and behaviour/culture
• Enable staff to feel confident to gather and interpret evidence of change alongside diverse experiences including their own
• Enable AAUK to capture collective contributions to change, recognising that no single action or individual makes change happen.
• Help us use the information we gather to inform and improve our work and better understand our unique role within the complex ecosystem of organisations and partnerships in which we work.

Objectives of the assignment

• Review and support the transformation of our organisational monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning processes to align with our new strategy and decolonial approach.
• Develop an organisational transformative change framework/toolkit and action plan, enabling staff to confidently capture impact over time and foster a culture of innovation, learning and accountability across the organisation.

Deliverables

The consultant / firm will work in collaboration with colleagues from AAUK Leadership and Transformation teams to:

• Create a plan and methodology that is aligned to our strategic objectives, decolonial approach and transformation activities.
• Conduct a light-touch process review, including desk research and conversations with key members of staff – to understand our current organisational monitoring and reporting processes, methods and tools.
• Develop a new Transformative Change organisational framework/toolkit which includes methods and tools for measuring change at organisational and team level and establishes a baseline from which we can improve and which captures both successes and challenges.
• Develop a staff training workshop on the new framework and tools.
• Provide a workplan with future recommendations and actions.

Proposed deliverables and payment structure

Required skills and experience

The successful consultant/firm should demonstrate:

• At least 5 years of experience working on MEAL system design and implementation in the INGO or development sector.
• Experience of working with WROs or social rights movements.
• Strong knowledge of innovative qualitative and quantitative MEAL methodologies.
• Experience in participatory approaches and facilitating organisational learning.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

We are seeking a part-time Money Skills Coordinator to help us deliver our ambitious plans to equip more individuals with money skills. The primary purpose of this role is to manage Crosslight’s money skills courses that are attended by the local community as well as our debt advice clients. These are delivered online or in-person in a range of different locations across our network.

The role holder will take ownership of the planning and running of our money skills workshops, including setting them up on our systems. They will also act as a ‘champion’ for the courses, promoting them internally and externally, including through community engagement and outreach in different locations. And they will have the opportunity to deliver some of our workshops, as well as supporting and equipping our volunteers to do so to a high standard.

Guidelines Manager
Contract: Fixed-term contract, 6 months
Salary: Up to £45,000 (depending on experience) 
Place of Work: BSH Headquarters, 100 White Lion Street, London, N1 9PF (hybrid working, 2 days per week in the office)
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours (normally 9am-5pm, with an hour unpaid for lunch)

The British Society for Haematology (BSH) is the largest UK multidisciplinary Haematology Society with over 3,000 members. Our activities include running education events and courses (including our flagship Annual Scientific Meeting held in April), producing guidelines, awarding grants, and raising the profile of haematology.

The role of the BSH Guidelines is to provide haematologists with up-to-date advice on the diagnosis and treatment of haematological disease and also on laboratory haematology practice, primarily by the production of evidence-based guidelines.

The co-ordination and commissioning of the required guidelines is carried out by 4 task forces, each responsible for a specialist area; blood transfusion, haemostasis & thrombosis, haemato-oncology and general haematology. It is also the responsibility of each task force group to ensure that guidelines are reviewed regularly and updated as appropriate on the BSH website. BSH Guidelines is overseen by an Executive Committee which consists of a Chair and Vice-Chair of BSH Guidelines and the Chairs of each of the four Task Forces.

Each Task Force will have between 10 - 15 guidelines in production or review at any one time, with an average of 2 - 3 being published each year (approximately 10 - 12 in total). The guidelines are written by nominated writing groups with members of the Task Force taking responsibility to ensure they are written to the correct standards and specification. The finished guidelines are usually published in the British Journal of Haematology and are made freely available on the BSH website. Each Task Force will meet 3 - 4 times a year to discuss the progress of the guidelines and any other pertinent business.

The Role

This is a six-month, full-time role to cover an extended period of staff absence. We are looking for someone to cover the role but we’re looking for someone who can do more than just maintain the status quo. We want a dynamic individual who will actively engage with the role, bring fresh ideas, and look for ways to develop and improve the work. There is real opportunity here for someone who’s keen to make an impact and explore new directions for growth and innovation.

Tender is an arts charity working with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. Our programmes are safe, enjoyable, age-appropriate spaces where young people can engage with sensitive topics and “rehearse” for real-life scenarios. Role Purpose

The main purposes of the Corporate Partnerships Officer role are:

• Managing the continually improving the digital systems to improve Tender’s monitoring and evaluation structures and procedures
• Leading the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks and processes across Tender, with the support of the COO

About the role 

We are seeking a visionary Head of Clinical Services with a deep passion for survivor-centred healing to lead the strategic development and implementation of our therapeutic services. Make-A-Wish UK is looking for a passionate and organised People & Engagement Coordinator to help shape a magical, inclusive, and inspiring workplace culture. Core Purpose
As the People & Engagement Coordinator, you will play a key role in shaping and supporting Make-A-Wish UK's workplace culture. Working closely with the People Team and line managers, you will help create a magical, inclusive, and inspiring environment where employees feel empowered to do their best for wish children, volunteers, and supporters.

You will take ownership of key activities across the employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to engagement and internal communications, while also supporting broader HR operations, policy development, and value led initiatives. Through your work, you will contribute directly to the delivery of Goal 3 of Make-A-Wish UK's strategy, helping embed our values and behaviours to strengthen our organisational culture.

To be successful in this role you will need:
Essential 
•  A CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent HR certification.
•  A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a People/HR function.
•  A basic understanding of UK employment law, GDPR, and safeguarding practices.
•  Experience using HR systems (e.g. Hi Bob or similar) and general IT platforms (e.g. Microsoft Office).
•  Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
•  Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
•  Experience supporting internal communications or coordinating team events.

General Duties

• Act as the first point of contact for general People queries, responding to emails and direct messages in line with SLA’s with advice aligned to employment legislation and internal policies.

• Support wider organisational initiatives, including answering phones and assisting other teams as needed.
• Undertake any other duties reasonably expected at this level.

Internal Policies

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Make-A-Wish UK’s internal policies, including conduct, leave, wellbeing, and performance.

• Ensure consistent application of policies across the organisation, escalating complex queries appropriately.

Human Resources Information System

• Maintain and update the HRIS (Hi Bob) and personnel files in compliance with GDPR and Right to Work legislation.
• Accurately process leave and absence records, collecting relevant documentation such as fit notes.
• Generate reports for the People Team and SLT as required.
• Support monthly payroll updates and documentation.
• Answer any system-based queries that employees have or escalate where appropriate.

 
MAW Values and Behaviours

Employee Lifecycle

• Own onboarding and offboarding processes including DBS checks, IT setup, and referencing.
• Ensure timely delivery of birthday and work anniversary gifts.
• Draft and send people-related letters including those for ER cases.
• Support with adding new occupational health referrals to the provider
• Update all inhouse trackers daily to ensure they are always up to date. 

 
Internal Engagement & Communications

• Plan and deliver internal events focused on wellbeing, EDI, learning & development, and social engagement.
• Contribute to the bi-weekly employee newsletter and other internal communications.
• Maintain and promote resources and platforms supporting employee wellbeing and learning.
• Support engagement surveys and feedback initiatives.
• Lead logistics and planning for internal events such as town halls, symposiums, and team socials.

Recruitment

• Lead end-to-end recruitment campaigns, including posting roles, liaising with managers, and coordinating interviews.
• Take ownership on recruitment campaigns and ensure that managers follow the correct processes consistently.
• Provide managers with recruitment documentation and guidance aligned with best practices.
• Communicate outcomes to candidates promptly and professionally.

Team Lead South (Engagement and Support)

Centre 33 is an ambitious and growing charity based across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. We offer a range of high-quality services to young people aged up to 25, including information and support on a “drop in” basis, mental health services, counselling, housing and financial advice, sexual health support and support for young carers.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our established ‘Someone to Talk to’ service in a Team Lead role.  The Team Lead will manage and oversee a team of staff and volunteers supporting young people across Centre 33’s two hubs in our South Locality – in Cambridge City and Ely. The Team Lead will work closely with the other Team Leads and Heads of Service to jointly ensure our multidisciplinary teams deliver excellent, safe, impactful and responsive services to young people.

We are looking for a highly motivated professional with experience working within a practical support, youth work or mental health role, and with experience of managing people.  The Team Lead will bring strong expertise and leadership to Centre 33’s holistic support offer for young people aged 13-25 years: our open-access drop-in, ongoing support around practical needs such as housing, and flexible mental health support. They will be responsible for providing support with case allocation, case management, reflective practice, risk management and Safeguarding. They will provide day-to-day designated Safeguarding leadership, supported by the Head of Service and Director of Services.  They will develop strong relationships with local organisations to ensure effective joint working and support for young people.  This role may deliver ad hoc case work to support young people with more complex needs but will not hold an ongoing regular case load.

The hours of work for this role are predominantly within core opening hours of 10 to 6pm, with some evening/Saturday working based on a rota. Due to our service delivery, it is important that the Team Lead is available for hub-based work during our core working hours.
