A leading domestic violence Charity is recruiting an Executive Assistant, who is ready to join a lively, devoted and driven organisation to support the Director of Fundraising and Communications and the Director of People and Culture!
This is an exciting new role, with an amazing work-from-home culture, reporting to 2 Directors and helping the wider SLT.
Your new role
You will report to the Director of People and Culture, but your responsibilities will also include providing executive assistant support to the Director of Fundraising and Comms 50-50% of your time.

- Previous relevant experience in a similar role with demonstrable experience of providing administrative and executive assistant support to senior staff members.
- The ability to manage work and time effectively, including the management of competing priorities.
- Flexible and adaptable with a can-do attitude.
- Self-sufficient with sound judgement and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- An interest in and commitment to the long-term success and development of the charity sector.

We are proud to be partnering with a National trade union body to find an outstanding National Officer’s Secretary.
You will have an understanding of member-based organisations, servicing committee meetings, expense processing, and usual undertaking of secretarial duties. Also, you will have to provide full PA support to the National Officer (NO) including establishing a clear understanding of the NO’s sector- specific responsibilities and contacts. The National Officer’s Secretary will deal with correspondence on behalf of the NO, including liaising with other departments where necessary. This job requires you to be involved in accurate preparation of paperwork, maintaining diary and organising meetings when necessary plus occasional travel to quarterly meetings. You will be providing advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including up to date Word applications, Excel and other database facilities, Outlook and Internet. The National Officer’s Secretary will be making travel and accommodation arrangements in liaison with Finance Department and eternal providers as necessary. You will also be managing discreet projects on the NO’s behalf.
This role is an immediate start and will be a temp role for up to 3 months with scope to become permanent. Office based near Holborn.

The Online Product Lister (Known internally as eCommerce Online Sales Executive) plays a vital role in generating income for Scope to support disabled people and their families. A key part of this role is listing a variety of donated items for sale via Scope’s online selling channels.
Location: Scope’s Ecommerce Hub - Westlink Business Park, Salford, M50 1BX.
Fixed term for 6 months, 16 hours per week.
The hub operates from 8am - 8pm, Monday to Sunday.
Some evening, weekend and Bank Holiday working will be required in line with Ecommerce Hub operating hours.
Interviews may take place prior to the closing date so early applications are encouraged.
The role
The Online Product Lister is responsible for completing high quality listings through accurate photography and detailed descriptions. The role will involve listing a variety of different products including home and garden, clothing and seasonal cards and items. Product market research and price checking are also key responsibilities of this role.
About you
You will have:
- Good communication skills, including the ability to write copy and create high quality listings.
- The ability to research products online and work to daily targets.
- The role requires continuous manual handling of stock in volume, daily. It will require a reasonable level of fitness and exertion, including carrying stock on a regular basis.

Interim Head of Finance | 3 Month + | £300 - £350 per day (outside IR35) | Hybrid | Croydon
For a small but vital refugee charity, we are recruiting an Interim Head of Finance for 3 + months, starting ASAP. Reporting to the CEO, the main accountabilities will focus on providing insightful monthly management accounts and reporting to the Senior Leadership Team and Trustees / Board, and to ensure the correct allocation of expenditure to a high number of grant funds. This role will oversee the Finance Assistant and the day-to-day finance transactions, including expenses, payroll, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Main Duties:
- Produce regular management accounts and financial reporting
- Support the Leadership Team, Finance Committee and Board with long-term financial planning
- Lead and review budgeting, reforecasting and cashflow management
- Review and re-negotiate all contracts, including office premises, IT, grants, and services
- Oversee the Finance Assistants day-to-day work including transactions and payroll processing
- Work with the Head of Fundraising and Senior Leadership to ensure income generation and fundraising strategy is in line with long-term goals
What will you bring to this role?
- Qualified Accountant or QBE with solid experience
- Strong knowledge and experience of Charity SORP, Grant funding and restricted and unrestricted funding
- Strong experience of management accounts and reporting within a small but complex charity organisation including budget preparation and year-end accounting and Audit
- Strong IT skills including Xero and Excel
- Experience of contracts, facilities management, HR processes and IT would be desirable
- Solid experience of managing and motivating staff
