The Dogs Trust Veterinary Department is a friendly team of veterinary nurses, veterinary surgeons and administrative staff working in the London Office. The primary responsibility for this team is to provide case guidance and management options for dogs within our care across our network of Rehoming Centres and other veterinary related schemes such as Outreach, Shared Adoption Scheme (SAS), Veterinary Support Fund (VSF) and the Emergency Trust Fund (ETF).
In this varied role you will provide full support to the team; processing responses to mailouts, generating new documents and ensuring our relevant systems and databases are kept up to date. Always delivering a friendly customer service; you will also monitor the Veterinary Nurse email inbox and become a first point of contact Rehoming Centre teams, vets and adopters regarding SAS and VSF dogs as well as other projects.
Building on your interest in animal welfare you will also build relationships with Veterinary practices helping us to learn about dogs in our care and to support the team with processing of prescriptions.
With excellent communication skills and ability to engage with different audiences you will have experience in an administrative role or customer service role and have strong attention to detail.

This role is responsible for ensuring we maximise our income in compliance with our funding agreements and alerting in a timely manner any issues preventing us from doing so. It is part of the Contract Management Team, which is responsible for maximising our income by working effectively across operations, finance and fundraising in a proactive manner to maximise income, ensure compliance and raise awareness of our performance.
Homebased during Covid restrictions and then this role will be based in our Birmingham centre.

You will have a minimum Level 3 or Diploma Youth Work qualification, and you will also be an excellent communicator which will enable you to relate and engage with our young people. As such we are looking to recruit an International Trademark Sales Executive, this role is key in supporting our growth strategy.
As an International Trademark Sales Executive, you will;
- Work with leading manufacturers and brands across the UK and around the world, actively promoting the Vegan Society’s trademark.
- Be responsible for selling the vegan trademark, by identifying leads, educating prospects on our services through calls and presentations.
- Identify trademark sales opportunities, and drive these forward to confirmed order stage, this will be achieved by direct sales calls, networking and making use of social media.
- Manage and work with global agents.
- Convert leads into orders, through engaging your prospects.
- Manage and grow your own accounts in identified business lines, ensuring excellent customer care in order to retain client accounts.
- Develop new business by attending client visits, video / phone calls and selling the features and benefits of the portfolio.
- Identify emerging markets and new business lines that are right for the trademark.
- Develop a good understanding of the FMCG market across the range of products we register with the trademark.
To be considered as our International Trademark Sales Executive, you will need;
- Proven experience in a Sales Executive or Business Development role.
- Excellent consultative selling capabilities, matched with effective pipeline management and reporting skills.
- Be able to offer a high level of customer service and key account management.
- You must be willing to adhere to a vegan lifestyle for the duration of your employment.
