ABOUT THE JOB
Job Purpose
We are looking for an exemplary people-oriented administrator to provide administrative support to the Gestalt Centre CEO and the workstreams she manages. An important role in the organisation, working with senior leadership and across teams, in a welcoming and supportive environment with opportunities to learn and grow on the job.
Areas of work and responsibility
- Administrative Support to the Gestalt Centre CEO
- Coordinate and support projects and workstreams the CEO leads on: Operations, Communications and Marketing, Short Courses and Post Graduate Qualifications, HR, Finance, Policies, Fundraising and Health & Safety.
- Liaise with the CEO and the leadership team to update the organisational plan and workstream plans, also keep track of relevant priority actions and progress.
- Provide administrative support for governance processes such as the Annual Financial Audit, Trustee Board meetings, the Charity Commission and Companies House submissions.
- Provide administrative support to the organising and running fundraising activities and events.
- Administrative support and coordination for the annual planning of Short Courses and Post Graduate Qualifications programmes.
- Organise, provide administrative support, and attend as appropriate, weekly operational meetings, monthly Executive meetings, and other project meetings, led by the CEO. Prepare meetings set up, information and any required papers in advance. Organise dates, taking and sending out minutes and coordinate follow-up actions ensuring progress and completion.
- Liaise with the CEO to prepare, format, edit and update reports and policies for internal and external audiences to a high standard.
- Provide a professional first point of contact for the CEO and as required liaise with her and the leadership team in order to respond to emails or phone calls and organise follow up meetings.
- Office team support such as reception/admin cover or support with events, as and when occasionally required.
- Carry out responsibilities with due regard to the Gestalt Centre values, policies and procedures.

- Educated to degree level or equivalent with good English and Maths.
- Experience working with and assisting senior leadership professionals.

Your role
This role sits in the Philanthropy & Partnerships Directorate, a high performing team that is responsible for all areas of high value fundraising including major donors, trusts and foundations, corporate partners and special events/high value committees. We will need you to:
- Maintain and manage data lists and mailing processes for key communications, including biannual newsletters, season’s greetings cards and the Charity’s Impact Report.
- Support fundraisers to coordinate and deliver correspondence to donors and partners, including sharing news from the hospital or preparing routine updates, ensuring all communications are accurate, timely, and properly recorded.

As Senior Philanthropy Executive you will be managing and developing a portfolio of mid and high value donors, offering an excellent level of stewardship, reporting and submitting new applications for funding.
We are looking for somebody that is highly organised, proactive and experienced in the development of quality funding proposals and working with a range of supporters. About the Role
We are seeking an individual to undertake holistic assessments of need, both remotely (over the telephone and online) and in person across their region. They will be expected to work with individuals who may have complex and sometimes challenging welfare needs, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within both the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector, ensuring that support is made available to meet their need through the case working process.
In addition to their primary casework role, they will provide specialist social work related advice and guidance to our Single Point of Contact Helpline team and our wider welfare teams. Applicants must be an experienced, registered social worker with a minimum of five years’ post-qualification experience within a Local Authority or the Charitable sector.
Applicants must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and best practice relating to the safeguarding of adults and children.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a social welfare role supporting individuals and will have strong people and relationship-building skills, as well as empathy with or understanding of issues affecting the Armed Forces community.
This role will be based in our Central London Headquarters, with a hybrid working pattern, with up to 2 days per week working from home. Occasional travel to support cases and wider Fund activity, outside of this region, may be required.

Investigations Executives manage a varied caseload of investigations that cover a wide range of issues in TV, radio, print, poster, and online ads. You will consider whether claims made in ads are misleading and assess evidence provided by advertisers in support of them. You will also investigate issues relating to sensitive and high-profile areas such as gambling, alcohol, ads addressed to children, and those which make reference to protected characteristics such as race and gender.
You might also find yourself involved in or running a project that looks at a particular issue more widely. The role provides an opportunity for you to make a real impact by helping to protect consumers from misleading or irresponsible ads.
The ability to evaluate complex information is an essential part of the role. You will also need to present your assessment of a case clearly and succinctly in writing and orally to internal and external stakeholders, so strong communication skills are vital.

This role focuses on delivering engaging, month-long virtual challenges that inspire supporters to get active, connect with a cause, and fundraise, from walking challenges to themed activity campaigns. You’ll manage events end to end, from planning and budgeting through to marketing delivery, supporter stewardship and post campaign evaluation.
