Temple Church is located in the Temple, City of London. The Church serves the legal colleges (Inns of Court) of Inner and Middle Temple, and serves members of the Inns and their families, London’s residents, visiting jurists and travellers from all over the world through the provision of some of the most uplifting services, music and discussions in London. Inner and Middle Temple have established a new registered charity, Temple Church Trust (Reg no 1205712), to maintain the Church, support its choristers and professional musical team, and develop its charitable activities. In advance of the Trust becoming operational in the summer, the Temple Church Committee wishes to appoint the first Chief Executive Officer of the Trust.
The role:
The CEO will be expected to lead and coordinate an established team of full-time and part-time staff; manage the Church’s multifaceted stakeholder network; ensure close control and management of the Church’s resources; and represent the Church and its work to the two Inns and externally so that the Church can function effectively and plan confidently for the future. The CEO will also be responsible for the Church's sensitive commercial development through the Trust’s wholly-owned commercial subsidiary company.
What we need:
You will be an excellent leader with effective interpersonal skills. Your recent experience will be at the director level or equivalent in the third sector, public sector, military or commerce. You will have a proven track record of leading or significantly contributing to the leadership of an organisation similar in size and complexity to the Temple Church. Proven experience in managing and delivering projects and income generation is essential. You should demonstrate a commitment to learning and development and sympathy for the mission and values of the Church of England.

Encompass is a local charity based in and covering North Northamptonshire. The charity supports those facing poverty, homelessness and addiction, through the delivery of multiple services including two homeless accommodations, a rehab and aftercare, multiple foodbanks and a soon to be opened day centre.
With around 30 staff and nearly 100 volunteers across all the projects, this role is responsible for leading the people to deliver compassionate, responsive and impactful services. The post holder will help build and implement the strategic direction of Encompass, working with the Board of Trustees to fulfil its strategic and governance duties.
Encompass has grown significantly in the last five years. We began as a Christian organisation, we retain the ethos and embrace all faiths or none. The next few years are about achieving our priorities according to our strategic plan including another rehab and the opening of our Day Centre. The role will focus on ensuring the services being delivered are to a high standard, that the information and the way we collect information is effective and efficient, and that the staff have the resources and motivations to robustly deliver high quality services.

Leadership and Management

- Regularly review Housing Benefit claims to ensure projects receive appropriate income.
- Work with Trustees to review and set financial policies and practices, such as annual salary reviews, and adequate reporting to the Board.
- Oversee the fundraising of the charity, deliver primarily applications to Trusts and Foundations and the support of local individuals through donations.
- Work to deliver budgeted fundraising income.
Compliance and Governance
- Ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are in place, reviewed and monitored.
- Take responsibility for all health and safety across all properties, ranging from high need accommodation to storage facilities.
- To maintain and develop effective human resource systems for the recruitment, management, support, training, appraisal and development of staff and volunteers.
- Manage the organisation with due regard to equal opportunities, safeguarding, the General Data Protection Regulations UK (GDPR), and the Data Protection Act
- Take overall responsibility for Safeguarding and associated monitoring and reporting.
- Regularly review and update policies and procedures with approval from Board

Reporting to the Head of Development – Student Support, the Senior Development Executive will develop and implement plans to generate major gifts for Student Support with an emphasis on outreach, internships and postgraduate support.
About the Role
- The post holder will be expected to spend the greater part of their time identifying, meeting and stewarding current or prospective donors.
- The post holder will manage a portfolio of more than 100 major gifts prospects. The post holder will be responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of potential donors, typically in the range of £250,000-£1,000,000.
About you
- You are a motivated fundraiser with experience of raising at a minimum six-figure gifts and a keen interest in widening access to Higher Education by gaining support for scholarships and graduate scholarships across a wide range of areas.
- You are highly motivated and will possess a strong drive towards getting out in the field, developing purposeful and effective relationships with prospective benefactors and advancing social mobility through philanthropic investment.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Drug & Alcohol Charity

Project 6 are at an exciting time in our journey having a strong established reputation for high quality, high impact work across West and South Yorkshire. We now are searching for a new CEO to lead us into the next phase of our development. This follows a fantastic last 10 years under the leadership of our current CEO with a statement about her impending exit available on our website.
The role will primarily focus on three areas: People, External Partnerships & Governance. These unpin all the great work done by us as a charity. It will be your role to drive the future strategy and partnership work alongside an established Board of Trustees, Senior Leadership Team and Management team.
In return you get to work and lead a charity who have a much bigger voice than our size, driving social change in the Drug & Alcohol sector. We currently work in Keighley, Bradford, Sheffield, and Doncaster delivering services to people experiencing challenges linked to drugs, alcohol and multiple disadvantages, and have been doing so for over 30 years.

· Lead the delivery of clear performance reports to the Board each quarter across the 4 quadrants of the Strategic Objectives.
· Ensure that the Board receives all the information, support and training it requires and support the Board’s recruitment, induction and review processes as required.
Resources:
· Lead and develop effective robust and transparent financial planning and reporting.
· Develop an organization that is efficient and cost effective with as much resource as possible deployed to the front line.
· Lead on the identification and effective management of organisational risk.
· Lead on the development of a People Framework to maximize the organisations talent and performance.
· Lead endeavours to make the best use of digital technologies to empower staff and make service more accessible.
· To ensure that the organisation develops a culture of Continual Improvement
Quality & Compliance:
· Ensure the effective implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures for the organisation including an organisational wide assurance system.
· Maintain up to date knowledge of current issues / best practice/ local and national policy in relevant fields for example Substance use, Addiction Recovery, Asset-Based Community Development, Families Work and Safeguarding.
· Lead the organisation in being a healthy and safe place to work and to access services by developing and owning P6s health and safety management system.
· Strategically lead our commitment and adherence to safeguarding
